    We have done business with Rowley Fuels for 35 years and they have always been reliable as our fuel…read moredealer and furnace tech/maintenance provider. Recently we had a catastrophic event due to flooding in our basement which necessitated getting a new hot water heater and a new furnace system. We had many interactions with multiple employees and all were extremely helpful in solving multiple problems. We ended up changing our system from oil to propane, mainly to get oil tanks out of the basement. We have since had mechanical engineers and a home inspector comment on what a beautiful job they did installing our new system. Very professional and nice people to deal with.

    We have been customers for some time now and we recently had a propane delivery where their driver…read moreparked too close to our house and ripped the security system wire.. when I first contacted Erin it sounded like it might be taken care of.. but she basically said that it was my fault because the driver wasn't able to get to the tank... the tank is probably 20 feet from our porch and nobody has hit it before because their drivers pay attention.. she was very snarky with replying with a "happy holidays " after telling us they won't fix it.. the cable costs $20 ish and probably $75 to get it installed.. they definitely lost long term customer and as you can clearly see in the picture that the tank was easily accessible my truck wasn't there at time of delivery.. don't waste your time or money with this company.. they will destroy your property and tell you to basically get bent

    I called the Propane service depot at 4:45 pm on a Friday night, I finally got through around 5:15…read morepm ,I told them I have no heat in my barn/business/workshop, but am told since it is after 5pm, I must wait until Monday after this projected 20 below weekend. It's not my fault they missed their scheduled delivery by 3 days. All the phone technician did was talk over me whenever I tried to give her any details; she didn't want it recorded. I was waiting before the center closed. I have been a Suburban customer for over 14 years, and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Suburban has lost a customer.

GO TO BLUE FLAME INSTEAD!!! Problem 1) Billing on historical estimates. Because Suburban bills on historical estimates rather than actual monthly usage, we got INSANE bills for our first winter, then found out that we had over $1000 in credit with them. You're welcome for the interest-free loan. Problem 2) A faulty regulator (their equipment) was recently replaced, and our daily usage has gone down precipitously following that. It appears that I've been overpaying for years based on their broken gear - no recompense, no offer, no apology. Problem 3) Absolutely terrible customer service. Empathy is evidently not a propane byproduct. Seriously, there are better options out there, and I STRONGLY suggest you investigate them before signing up with these imbeciles.

    If I could give Blue Flame a negative star rating I would. It took six months of constant back and…read moreforth to get my account set up with conflicting answers, terrible customer service, inconsistent follow through and staff that were constantly telling me that they didn't know any answers. No one could tell me how much propane cost, what the service period was on a bill I had received, whether my account was set to auto-refill, if I needed a contract or not, if I needed to prebuy my fuel or not, etc. That was last heating season. It's only September and the customer service run around headache has already begun with bills for propane use in August, service fees for service I declined and unreturned phone calls from supervisors. I would absolutely NOT recommend Blue Flame Gas.

Original supplier was Green Mountain Propane which was acquired by Vermont Propane and then eventually Blue Flame which is now Amerigas. Since being with Blue Flame we have had an undetected leak requiring a new tank after who knows how many gallons were lost, we have run out of gas in spite of being on auto delivery and then the pricing. For several years I allowed myself to be gouged before discovering Fuel User groups which easily knock over a dollar per gallon of the fluctuating prices I had been paying. Go ahead and try to call them sometime. Good luck getting anyone. Try the website, it offers an email contact. No one ever gets back to you. The only reason I still use them - with the pricing from the user group I'm in this is the best price I can get. Service is terrible. Just hope you never need to talk to them about anything.
