He quickly diagnosed the situation and as there was a way to use water without a further leak, he picked up the replacement part Monday and came right over to fix it. He's friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. In addition to plumbing emergencies, he does boiler replacements, emergency services, installs everything from old-school boilers to the latest heat pumps, from radiant flooring to steam radiators. PS I could have done the work they did in about an hour if I was 20 years younger. It cost almost $400.

I'm sure Lloyd's is a great company and this review is not suggesting otherwise, but, do you want to spend $149 to end up not even using them? I learned you can't split apple wood to save your life. We bought a soapstone wood-stove from Hearthstone. It's one of the cleanest and most efficient wood-stoves on the market. It is absolutely beautiful and keeps the house toasty even on the coldest days. So I don't mind cold winter days anymore, because I just sit by the fire in my flip-flops and shorts. Now, nearly two weeks after our last service call (and over two months since our problems started), the company has still not sent the replacement part to the repair facility and Hearthstone refused to respond to his phone calls. (according to the repairman). I am inclined to believe him because last week I sent an email inquiry to the company and have gotten no response. And trying to find the phone number for Hearthstone is, difficult to say the least. It is not readily available on the website.
