I do recommend Dave and his plumbing and heating service.

One of his employees appears to have taken some cds from my house. This employee also stole from SBP Builders too. This guy no longer works there as he skipped town. Also I found that cleanup was never really done after a job. I had to do some major cleaning myself and there is a general disregard for the rest of the home by all employees, using furniture as places to leave tools etc. They installed a door the wrong way, it swings inside and not outside as I asked. They hung a mirror in my bathroom that is still wobbly and makes it hard to clean for fear I will knock it down. The price was decent. Overall, I would rate SBP builders as 'okay'

We filed a claim with them (insurance is Sedgwick claim number 20251011935) they passed it off to rxo who fwd to another insurance, come to find out the delivery was sub contracted out to a deliver company out of Florida that did not have proper insurance coverage for the clean up (months later still not done) only thing that was paid for was a couple of mail box's, us the contractor was not paid for the time forced there or the down time because order got reloaded on the truck for no apparent reason.Home depot and Sedgwick did not help the customers or contractors passed the blame around left a epa nightmare ,did not make sure they where properly insured and has refused to make this right.Home depot has not stood behind what has happened, has not made it right,me as a contractor should not have to fight because of there screw up the right thing would be take care of it and for them to fight with there subcontractors....you destroyed properties, damaged land, spilt fluids into the ground, destroyed properties, hit a electric pole, caused a contractor to loose a lot of money and down time and did nothing to rectify the problem. You did not follow the letter of nh law,you did not file the proper paperwork for the spillage caused by you with the epa within the allowable time frame and you did not reimburse our Financial loss. so now I have to look back on all the times we've been purchasing from Home Depot, and say that a company that would willingly not clean up and environmental hazard that they caused, and does not stand by their contractors who are purchasing from them to do jobs,I must say time to go elsewhere.I included some pictures.3 different property where damaged in the process.notice the link they sent at the bottom...does not fix anything....emailed the ceo no response....i gues Home Depot does not care about the environment and contractors that buy off them. These are just some of the pictures.hd will most likely provide a link that does not help, there insurance does not hold up there end of the barging and likes to pass the buck ,lack of insurance by trucking company and still employed at hd.they did not do right and did not do anything other then finally pay for some mailboxes....is this a company you are willing to support?

My wife drove 3-1/2 hours to get to the property and meet with them, arriving with our guests and 2 dogs 2 hours ahead of the agreed meeting time. Again, they failed to show up or call to say they weren't coming. After waiting for 45 minutes we tried to call to see if they were coming but couldn't connect as their phone wasn't 'set up' and couldn't accept calls or voicemail!!! I sent them a text to try to find out what the story was. They replied and said they came and nobody was home, further clarified that they aren't interested in any job under$3500, having no idea the scope of my project! There were 2 cars, 4 adults and 2 dogs at the house. They could not have been missed if in fact they came. Further, even if they had come and thought nobody was there why didn't they simply call? They had my phone number. Also, there was no sign of them on any of the security cameras. Bottom line: this contractor is clearly unreliable, and dishonest. Perhaps a scam? Beware!

Trombly Plumbing when good enough is too much trouble…read more I had them do three things for me, though I should have caught on the first time. First was to run a heat duct up to the second floor. To do this they had to cut a hole in the floor. I agreed, but I asked the duct be installed far enough way from the wall with the window, it was in a corner, so I could box it in and make it look nice. They finished and I was not happy with the results. First, it was not the distance away I requested, I gave measurements. Second, it was at an angle so I had to build a bigger box than should have been necessary. Finally, they had cut a large round hole, abandoned that idea and then cut a larger oval hole than was needed. This is the original flooring from the 19th century. I had to build a base around the bottom of the box to hide the holes in the floor. Second try. I have a pantry that used to be a small 1/2 bath. I had them turn it back into a bathroom. This part of the house doesn't get good heat so I needed a solution to keep the pipes from freezing. Their only solution was shut off valves for when the temperature was too cold. The pipes run under the house in a crawl space. I talked to them about other solutions. They told me this was the only thing that could be done. I went ahead with it. I found out there were several other solutions. After everything was done it looked OK, until. One day I was leaning against the sink and it suddenly let go from the wall. It didn't come out completely, but was now at a slight angle and it is loose, you can give it a little wiggle. I asked them to come fix it. They said it was not anchored into a stud because there weren't any in that area. They never told me. I checked around and there are simple solutions. Finally, I had them fix an emergency. Every time someone used the plumbing the sewage would pour out onto the basement floor. They came out right away. They told me before they could start I would have to have it professionally cleaned. I did. They proceeded to cut the old sewer pipe out only to have sewage splash all over the basement. They did fix the pipe, but I asked them to pay for it to be cleaned. They refused. They said the pipe was blocked and nobody could have known. Well, a plumber would have known that if sewage isn't draining there's probably a clog. Don't use Trombly! You have been warned!
