A friend called her plumber contact on Sunday who was away, but was able to get me in contact with Jacob Grout on Sunday morning. Jacob called me back and came out on Sunday to look at the issue. He quickly diagnosed the situation and as there was a way to use water without a further leak, he picked up the replacement part Monday and came right over to fix it. He's friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. In addition to plumbing emergencies, he does boiler replacements, emergency services, installs everything from old-school boilers to the latest heat pumps, from radiant flooring to steam radiators. I highly recommend his services. As he states on his website, "If you live anywhere between Stowe and Randolph, Montpelier and Warren, we are ready to be your go-to plumber." -I'm sold.

The work was done very well, but we found the price to be high. So we called in, and the owner, Peter, was more than willing to discuss the issue. He offered a discount and/or refund in the interest of 100% customer satisfaction, and we settled on an amount that satisfied both us and the company's service commitment.

I really can't comment on the quality of their work as it won't show up until later, but he did spend a lot of time trying to sell me additional services, advising me that it would be $149 additional if I didn't sign up for it right away. He reminded me of a used car salesman. I ran into a friend who was familiar with them and he had a similar opinion. I would not hire them again. PS I could have done the work they did in about an hour if I was 20 years younger. It cost almost $400.

Horizon Plumbing & Heating recently completed repairs on my boiler. Jason Foster and his crew…read moreinstalled a new water feeder valve and pump. They also repaired my boiler's vent tube and installed a cap, so the vent whistle works and things are now up to code. Everything looks great and works perfectly. Jason and his crew were very polite and professional, and they explained everything that they were doing throughout the process. They were punctual and completed work in a timely manner. They also kept everything neat and clean. Best of all, the finished cost was exactly what I had been quoted in the estimate. And the price was very reasonable. Horizon Plumbing & Heating came in at a much lower cost than other estimates I received. They did an exceptional job. I highly recommend Horizon Plumbing & Heating and Jason Foster.

Tyler of Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain is *fantastic*. I've lived in my townhouse condo for nearly 12…read moreyears, and the kitchen sink has never drained marvelously well. I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! You will be glad you did.

They were reliable, open and honest about the entire process even when the items on the blueprint didn't match the actual equipment that had been installed 20 years prior, along with outdated instalment features. We enjoyed getting to know them and were very impressed with how much they care. They made the job change work with the price they had quoted us as well, which was very reasonable. Thank you both for being a great team. Louisa and Dean
