Yes, for my location this business is pricy, but considering the unreliable and unprofessional local service provider, the money I spend has allowed me to receive prompt and super professional and friendly service. Great service! It's a really fast and affordable. I just drove up to the outdoor station they had and put my 15lb propane tanks on the stand. They filled them up right away. Be aware that they take lunch from 12-1, so no one will be there to service you during that time. read more

Was helping my dad out to refill his propane tanks. My dad had told me where to park. I pulled up and the guy unloaded and loaded the three tanks up for me. Super friendly. Was quoted $30 to stamp (recertify) and $40 to fix a propane tank for my forklift if broken. I turned in 3, if all were broken it would be $210. Not all were broken when I dropped off, only one was and I got a bill for $278. No one called me about cost, explanation, they just said it's ready. Called to try to talk to manager. No return call yet Get a quote or they will price gauge you big time! These guys are a joke. No manager called me - it's the office people, Alex and manager not the guys in shop, as they were nice. read more

So easy, so fast, fair price. This is the best propane tank filling experience I've had. Usually, I go to a gas station, the clerk seems annoyed and often unsure about how to do it right, etc. The guy who helped me was a super friendly pro who had me in and out in under 3 minutes. Pro Tip: Don't pull into the large gate. Just pull up to the gate where the pump is in the circular driveway. If there is nobody there, just ring the ludicrously loud bell. read more

Writing this in hopes to be seen by admin. But I was there on the may 23, 2024 around 12:30p (hint, hint) And was getting some tanks refilled by the tech, who was professional and generous, and from the back comes an office worker(lady) to rudely tell the tech that the way he was refilling the tanks wasn't allowed to be done that way, in a disrespectful manner. I wonder what else do the blue collars there have to put up with. Anyways, Props to that tech who reacted in a respectful and calm way. read more

I didn't know that you can keto the tank you want and go get a refill for only $3.75 plus tax. For 6 tanks that totaled $86.20. That's roughly $14.40 per tank. Much cheaper than any exchange location. I recommend you go to suburban who supplies many of the local areas that sell propane refill. Ask for Dominic. Honest and great service. read more

My experience was great, I've always past by this place and never really needed propane until recently. Sometimes when you need something like propane, you forget where you saw the place that sales it. Well this time I remembered, and when I drove up, there was a big banner stating fill up your propane tank for $10.00. The person (Jason I think) stating that the $10.00 was for this week only unless you are a Yelper. If you are a Yelper the price is $10.00 when you check in. Well guess what I did, yup, I checked in. They need someone working at the 535 S Melrose location to actually be able to work the propane tank refills. They told me they don't have anyone certified to do it, and the ones that are are out in the field. So don't drive there like I did for a waste of time. read more

Never sugn up for auto refill! Came unannounced to refill my tank when not needed. Plus, it is overcharging customers.

Came here to refill my BBQ propane! Make sure to check in to get the discount. But for the BBQ propane tank (with the check in), it only cost me like 15-20 bucks? The attendant to help you was extremely friendly and even helped me carry the filled tanks back to my trunk. It seems like there is usually a wait whenever it is a holiday or the weekend therefore go on a weekday to get them filled. The only one change I would recommend is, the payment is a pain because you need to enter the building which is around the corner. Not a big deal if you want to gets some steps in. I just feel it'll be more efficient and would cause less traffic if you can pay where you get your propane tank filled at! Other than that, great experience :) read more
