I love stopping at Arco stations because of their cheap gas prices. This particular Arco, on the Southeast corner of Yorba Linda Blvd and Bradford Ave is a little tricky to get into if you're trying to get there from the Ross parking lot instead of off the street. I first tried going around the front of Marie Calendars only to discover painted white arrows that show traffic going through the station must enter the pump area from the West side headed East. After going all the way back around the other side and out of the parking lot altogether onto Bradford Ave, I finally made it into the station and discovered how convenient it was to have everyone going the same direction. There were plenty of people here, but there were plenty of pumps and the wait to get to a pump was short. There were 3 ATM machines, one between each set of pumps, and plenty of windshield wiped squeegees (6 total) and I was quickly gassed up and ready to go. There is limited parking, only three parallel parking spaces on the East side. I parked and went inside. The cashier called out a friendly greeting to me as I walked past her to an immaculately clean restroom. Seriously one of the cleanest restrooms I've seen at a gas station. I picked out a drink and headed to the cashier. The man in front of me wanted change for a 20 dollar bill and the cashier was apologetic and showed him she was almost out of 5's and couldn't give him the change. I had 5's in the car so I told him I could help him out if he could just wait a minute for me to finish my transaction. The cashier gave me a grateful smile and thanked me for offering to assist him. He and I headed out to make the exchange in the parking lot and he thanked me profusely as he told me about how his sons were playing soccer down the street and they couldn't break a $20 there either. There is a narrow strip of grass on the east side next to the parking where a lady was walking a very friendly poodle. She greeted both of us and let us pet her dog who was appreciative of the attention. People are pretty friendly down here in Orange County, and this was a pleasant stop to refuel before I started the long trek home to Bakersfield.

Please stop and read! My family and I had a great day and stopped by the gas station/…read more #AMPM on rose Dr and imperial HWY in placentia , ca between the hours of 7:50pm-8:10pm day after thanksgiving (Black Friday). My sis had to use the restroom and my mom wanted snacks. They both went inside one to ask for the key for restroom and other to shop. When my sis asked to use the bathroom she was told by the man working the counter (who happened to be middle eastern) WE DONT have a bathroom. Which was untrue because my husband who happens to be white has been to this exact gas station and the gas attendant let him use this exact same restroom. From the video you can see that the bathroom isn't out of order and not in use and clearly exists. He wouldn't let my sis use the bathroom so she went to use the bathroom at the chuckle cheese next door and didn't put up a fuss. As this all is happening my mom is still in the store and when she got to the counter to pay the same attendant asked her is she sure she can afford her things because they were expensive and she told him she could. I was in the car during this exchange so when my mom came to the car to tell me I went inside and asked why he said those horriable things and treated my family that way just because we are black. All he said was that they don't have a bathroom in response and I then told him that's not true and that my husband who happens to be white has come to that location and they allow him to use it. All I can say is that Racisim is alive and it's so sad. People are openly racist and I just pray that they get help they need. I just moved to the area and this is what I have to look forward to.I don't want anything out of this except for that gas station attendant to be held accountable and not just get a slap on the wrist. People are people no matter the skin color. I will take this matter all the way up the the CEO to AMPM if need be. I don't care how long it takes. I'm out of breath in the video because I was so sad that this is the way we were treated.

I've been going to this gas station for several years and have always found it to be a great spot…read more The fuel was about the same in terms of price as other places and it was convenient enough to make it great. I've always found the people who work there to be pleasant and friendly. But the reason for the 1-star has to do with a change that was made to the fountain drink station. Just this past week, the soda machine was changed out to a new style that has the touch screen. I'm sure that part of the machine works fine, but I can't get past the fact that there's only one ice funnel for this machine and that the three times I've tried to use it there is no ice coming out of the machine at all. The previous fountain drink station had issues with the crushed ice dispenser, which is why I'm sure it was changed out. But now there's no ice at all. I hope this review catches the attention of the owners and that they can remedy this to make the ice dispenser work again. But until that happens, all I can give this otherwise good Arco station is one star.

I tried two more times with no luck. The screen told me to "see cashier," but I had my dog in the car and it was hot outside. There was no way I was going to leave her locked in the car. So I gave up on gas and figured I'd at least get a car wash since I have a Bliss membership. I got in line and ended up waiting a long time because the person in front of me was arguing with the car wash attendant. Then the manager came out of the convenience store and joined the argument. There was a lot of arm flailing and shouting back and forth. This dragged on for about ten minutes, and I needed to be somewhere. I waved to get the manager's attention and asked if they could let me out of the line (there was a car behind me, so all they had to do was move a few cones). Instead, the manager turned to me and loudly and rudely said, "No! I'm dealing with a customer! You'll have to wait!" I muttered, mostly to myself, "I'm a customer too..." Several more minutes went by, and eventually that person in front of me was allowed to leave , apparently not even buying a car wash after all that. The kicker? They motioned for me to back up so they could get out, even though I was the one stuck and they just needed to turn their beat-up car. Completely absurd. At that point, I decided I'd had enough. I'll be canceling my membership. This place clearly doesn't value its customers or their time.
