Sinclair has some cheap gas. I can't speak on the quality of gas though. That's basically what keeps me coming back. That, and my husband loves the little dinosaur mascot lol Seems silly to me. We call it "getting dino gas." The pumps at this location worked just fine. No issues with the card reader. I ran inside to grab some waters and a Red Bull energy drink. We were headed to the fair and wanted some hydration and energy. The waters and energy drink really hit the spot! lol We fueled up with gas and grabbed liquids to fuel us up too! Weird experience here. I Came by to get gas and buy an energy drink on my way to the freeway, and upon walking up the gas station, I hear a banging on the glass window from the clerk/cashier inside. Apparently he did not want me going inside of the store and decided to get my attention to use the smaller window on the outside of the building for whatever reason I asked him is the inside not open or can I not come in? I'm not quite too sure still why he did that because once I told him I needed a drink from inside and he saw my 100$ bill then he came around the counter to unlock and open the door... but I got a little weirded out and left instead, because I don't know what he was trying to do. It was weird he then left the door open after I left instead of locked like how it was when I walked up. Idk if it's a discrimination thing because I have my PJS on , but definitely be careful coming here. read more

Zero stars. Negative stars. They don't deserve one star. My car had a leak they claimed they knew what it was and they could fix it! Yay! Nope. $1,300 later I get my car back and I drive up to LA. On the freeway my car starts jerking and jolting and all these lights go off on the dash. I take it back to them. Ohhhh now there's a sensor broken. That'll be $800 now. Weird my car didn't do that before they touched it. I get my car back. Engine light is off, seems fine. For a few days. Car does the same thing jerking and lighting up like a Christmas tree. I realize my car had been nearly empty when I dropped it off, but now it had just under a quarter tank. I think to myself "gosh, they must have put gas in, I sure hope they realize this car takes premium." I take it back yet again to them. Tell them the same thing is happening. Oh and by the way, did you put gas in? They said yes, I said you do know the car takes premium right? It says so in bold right on the gas flap. The guys eyes got as big as saucers and didn't respond. So safe to say they put the wrong gas in. The sensor they put in was "faulty" so they have to put a new one in. But don't worry, they're not going to charge me. Oh gee thanks. Guess what? Guess what? The same thing happened again. They had my car four times. The last time the guy shrugged and said we should take it somewhere else cause they CAN'T FIX IT. No refund. No apology. My car had only ever had a leak before now I have had nothing but problems ever since they touched it. I probably should have sued them. It gets better though because my dad, wanting to give them a *chance* has taken two of his cars there. The exact same thing happened. They "fixed" the issues but then something else just magically went wrong and had to take the two cars back multiple times each. They need to stop touching any car. Seriously they need to close up shop and just sell gas. Maybe not even that if they don't know there are different grades of gas. read more

Came by to fill up the car with petrol the other day and it was a decent experience. Sinclair is Top Tier gas and has one of the lowest prices in the area. The petrol station was located away from major freeways. Spacing between pumps were definitely on the tighter size, perhaps designed more Minis and Fiats vs. lorries. Payment was available at the pump and the pump was in good working order. Some of the signage facing the street was operational showing the price of petrol. May have found my new favorite gas station. Are a lot of the bigger names around shell and Chevron up and down the street are usually $.15-$.20 higher. The great news is they match the prices for the Arco across the street. What I like is that this place uses Apple Pay and all major credit cards. I walked away with a full tank. I will be back. The only knock is it's a little hard to go back up north bound on Placentia Avenue. But you couldn't do that from the Arco either. If you're looking for cheaper gas in the Placentia area and this is a good spot. read more

Sign was posted with a CASH PRICE of $4.39 per gallon. Apparently they had just raised the price to $4.49 in the pumps so, after I paid cash, the price on my pump said $4.49. I went back in and asked the guy and he was very rude and got quite defensive when saying they just raised the price but didn't change the sign?!?! They would not honor the price so I went down the street where I found it for $4.37! SHADY BUSINESSES WILL ALWAYS LOSE IF WE DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!!! Hopefully this helps you all... read more

Note: have only been here for the gas. Hubby signed up for the Sinclair card online (which is free - https://www.sinclairoil.com/sinclair-green-card), and it came in the mail pretty promptly. If you do use the Sinclair card, you do get extra savings at the pump, which is always so nice to see! We've never had issues with pumping gas, and it's actually been relatively clean here, compared to most other gas stations. Right next to the 57 freeway and Chapman exit, and super-easy to get to with their entrances. Also, can't help but love the dinosaur! read more

First took my car to get a fuel pump replaced after 2 days waiting for them to actually go back to work I get a call from them I dropped off the car on sat night didn't get a call back till Tuesday so I had to Uber to work and back all week .. they "fixed" the problem after I had to pay $150 for them to diagnose the problem when I told them what it was in the beginning. After a week I get my car back and on my way to work it break down in the middle of the freeway for the same problem so I had to miss a day of work and get towed back to the shop $200 later for the tow.. then the owner said I need to change the module so it's another $1500 so it ran up to over $2,500 with labor and parts and towing.. the fuel pump was about $350 . The owner said he would fix my ac for the inconvenience of taking too long and for not fixing the problem the first time. 2 days after the ac was fixed it stoped working again so I went back he said yes I will fix it for free but that was a lie when I took it back now he wants to charge me again for diagnostic test .. this place is shady bad service and with attitude.. it's a scam what this mechanic does .. not a man of his word as soon as you pay him he takes back his word .. avoid this place at all cost .. overpriced bad work and takes too long .. never again will go back ... read more

This is a really great gas station who does auto motive work! I live in the neighborhood and have an extra truck I use to keep my new BMW mileage down. This truck has broken down so many times and I always take it to this auto shop cause I randomly broke down there. They gave me a very fair price the first time my starter when out. Then my battery came loose and they fixed the wiring and then fixed my radiator for really good pricing. When I come in they really seem like they care. They ask questions and don't try and sell you anything. They just fix and do it pretty quick. I will always take my cars here ... its good people here read more

Came here on my way from work to home. Lucky this place is here or I'll be stranded in the middle of the freeway. My gas was really low due to the fact that I was trying to get home with whatever gas I had left. As you can see I did not make it back home; I had to stop and fill up. Better luck next time right? I prefer to go to 76 than any other gas station. This is right off of 57 south freeway on the chapman exit. The gas prices are surprisingly low for being next to the freeway. I am a Raving Fan of this place! By far the best Service Place in Orange County! Reuven and Mike are the best. I have known them for over 25 years. That is a lot of cars. They kept my Toyota Seqouia running well for over 12 years. They are nice people and very helpful. They will drop everything they are doing and come over right away when I pull in, with an issue with my car. I had a flat tire at the Starbucks a couple of blocks away and Reuven drove over and changed the tire, to my spare for me. This place is a local run place, by three brothers, who work 11 hours a day, doing honest car repairs. Yes, the gas is expensive, so I don't' buy my gas there. read more

Stop! Don't go near these manipulating deceiving men that operate this service station. I pulled in with my radiator steaming and they seemed to be so nice to assist me by pouring water on the radiator with the hose. I left the car there for an estimate. They called me back and said it would be $400 for a new radiator I said ok. Next day I go pick up my white hatchback volvo and when I put the key in to start the engine white smoke comes out of the pipetails like no tomorrow. He says, "Oh I didn't know you had blown out head gaskets or I would've never installed the new radiator." Oh come on now! You mean to tell me you didn't know the head gaskets were blown out! Just wanted to give the 76 auto care a review because the mechanic was honest and straightforward with me regarding the check engine light for my car. I am not from the area and I appreciate the prompt service to start working on my car, even without making an appointment and there being a lot of cars waiting to be fixed too. First I would like to say if I could give this place a ZERO I would. I went there today accidentally after mistaking it for the smog testing site I had spoken to roughly an hour prior on the phone. When I went into the gas station office, I asked if I was at the right location. I soon realized I was not at the right spot given that the man quoted me an extra $22 to get a smog. He pointed me to the shop across the street but then quickly told me that the shop was going to send me right back to him because they send "all their smog tests" to him. I said, that's strange given I just spoke with them, we agreed on a much cheaper price, and I can see their smog certified sign from here. He repeated himself and I said I was going to go across the street. When I went to the correct business, the manager told me that they only sent STAR smog certifications there and stated he was disappointed the man had lied to me. After getting my smog done, I went back over to confront the employee (Chimeron? Sp? Sorry not sure how to spell his name). I asked him why he would misinform me and he shrugged me off and acted smug. I told him he was a liar, a cheat, and a crook. He told me to calm down and asked why I wasn't respectful and why I "wanted to fight." I informed him I would not calm down and that he was a liar and he was the one who was disrespectful lying and trying to cheat someone. The station across the street had told me they would no longer send him business. I am writing this review in case anyone else may fall prey to this dishonest and untrustworthy business.
