Worst experience with the phone receptionist. She is rude and racist. My dad's English isn't the best but she was annoyed by him and I can her the it in the tone, remarks, and breathing sound she made. I took the phone from my dad and was explaining the type of copper we had, she's like "idk we need this and this so are you done bye" With a person like this, business is just being turned away. Rather find another place because if she's like this over the phone, I can only imagine her in person. Hire a new person or at least train her on proper customer service. read more

I do a lot of recycling due to the nature of my business. (beverage company) I'd have to say that this place is arguably the best spot to recycle items if you have different types of metals. They take in; metal, cans, plastic, pallets, cardboard even the trash that you need dumped. The guys are friendly and otherwise very helpful. They have an efficient system that is much more advanced than your conventional recycling center. They do live scans / check your license plates etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a variety of items to recycle. read more

As far as copper wires goes, this place pays the most (17 cents more per lb than my other go to place), but the 4 stars and not 5 is because if it is over $100, it's a 3 day hold so unless you bring a lot of weight, it's not worth having to drive back a 2nd time read more

I've been going to Sunwest Metals for years (4 stars), couldn't make it there by 2pm on a Saturday; decided to give DBW Metals a try, and I'm very glad I did! DBW is my new "go to" recycling center for cans, bottles and glass. Here's why: Open an hour later - 3pm on Saturday, and 5pm weekdays. They unload your recyclables (just like Sunwest) Better traffic flow - no driving though scrap and the craziness of Sunwest The unloading area and the payment window are covered. More payment windows, cleaner area in general. Easier parking - no turning around. They take all competitor's coupons - and match their advertised prices. Have their own coupon on their website - a 10¢ bonus per pound on cans. Took a Sunwest Coupon with me, but DBW's regular price was the same as Sunwest's Coupon deal! Plus, I used DBW's bonus coupon for even more per pound! To get DBW's coupon go on their website, click on "things we buy" tab and then the Aluminum Cans tab - you'll see a click-able link to a coupon. Been bringing my CRV here for 5 years. Now they are no longer accepting. Disappointed.

Showed up to the recycling area & was greeted by Carlos. He was very helpful and willing to help us sort our recyclables. He is a hard worker and deserves recognition. I also felt like I didn't get ripped off, as I have at other recycling places... they are very honest. We had about seven or eight bags of recyclables and left with $30! Not bad. I have had only good experiences dropping my recycling cans, and plastic bottles here. They take more scrap metals , etc. Best to look up what they take and don't take. The first time there , a man leads you with hand signals to a place to park. Another man gets big bins after you separate everything he writes your license plate on scrap of paper takes your bins to the weigh area. You need your driver's license and the scrap of paper hand it to the man that weighs your cans . Finally you get two receipts and he pointed to the cashier. I signed the receipts , got my cash . The guy that directs traffic watches you safely back out and head out the same entrance you came in . Word of warning the street has potholes so go slow. I got good directions and times they are open by calling their listed number on their web page. read more

I really enjoyed this DBW metals Recycling at Anaheim, because it's easy and fast paced for us, when the employees are helping us to separate cans and water bottles at the same time in line. Also, this is my first time going there, after RePlanet center was going out of business. I'm very glad that we got the refunds from recycling cans and bottles for a reason. I will go to this place again from now on as a new location for recycling center as I needed it. But, I still recycling cans and bottles, once a month. This place rips you off!! Look at my receipt and see how much of a percentage the chalk up to Tare. My #1 copper was almost 200lbs. yet I only got paid for 55lbs. Clean copper they said was marked down because of contamination. Bullshit. Do not go here the just mark whatever percentage to knock off your total. read more

Ok I've been going here a while now, this time I had a box of copper I had brought. I thru it on my weight scale at home just to see how much I had. This box of copper at home weighed 17 pounds, I'll be nice and say that the box weighed a pound, so that 16 pounds of copper. I take my can, bottles and copper in get the cash and leave. A couple days later I see the receipt in my car and I was curious to how much I got for the copper. Copper $2.02 a pound and I received $10 and some change for it, so those crooks said I had 5 pounds of.copper when I had $16. Will not go there again for anything. Unprofessional, unorganized, and the workers in the office have no fucking clue what's going on. Take my metal, give me cash. Or is that too difficult for your miniscule brain? They are at least in my experience on 03/19/2020 are no longer taking CRV plastics, glass or aluminum...go figure, they're taking more raw metals like radiators, copper pipe and wiring...industrial stuff, but nothing from an average everyday consumer of beverages that should be accepted due to being labeled CRV (California Redemption Value) which is based on a tax we pay at the counter and are guaranteed return on tax when said packaging materials are redeemed at a licensed facility...wtf...the place is a ghost town unless you're dropping off aluminum engine blocks and such...great...this was my go to place...way to go coronavirus...WEAK read more

You might find the things I am saying about a recycling center a little strange but I want to say a 5 star thank you to your whole staff. Just went to recycle some bottles and cans today (weekday) ~230pm. Not too busy. They were extremely polite and helpful. Drove up to Gate 1 and they politely informed me that now the neighboring company is the new management and all customers are recommended to pre-sort their items before coming in order to reduce the wait time. The gentlemen was kindly helping me this time around. If I need to sort next time, then go over to Gate 2 to handle the sorting there first. They mentioned there was a sign denoting this but I really could not find one. So I do recommend pre sorting your items for a much smoother process. I'll be returning. read more

Came here for the first time. Everyone was super friendly, they unloaded my car and emptied some bottle that still had liquid in them for me too. It was easy to find and the process was smooth from start to finish. The caisher was awesome I wasn't able to print the coupon but accepted it on my phone that I had screen shot. The one thing I really dislike about recycling bottles / cans is unloading them. Let's face it: recycling centers are not the cleanest. DBW Metals takes care of that! When you pull into their facility, they direct you where to park, and a friendly worker comes up to your vehicle with containers and does all the emptying and rolls the containers to the weigh station. I'm not sure if they pay top dollar for bottles / cans, but the price seems fair and the convenience is fabulous! read more

Brought in a small amount of water bottles and was helped promptly. Trip was really quick in and out. It looks like they recycle all sorts of stuff including a lot of commercial stuff so you'll want to take the 2nd entrance. The first is to an industrial portion of their plant. read more
