From clothes, to papers, to electronics - they all must go! So as we near the close of winter, I figured I should get a head start on some spring cleaning. A quick Google search for local recycling businesses that take old/used/broken computers, printers, phones, and other electronics lead me to Advanced E-Waste Solutions. The place is a little tricky to find as they've recently moved so the address in Google is incorrect. The cross streets are Commonwealth and Orangethorpe, and the business park is located between two railroad tracks. Look for the Ellie's Pho signs and they are right behind that building. I forgot to ask his name, but he was very personable and nice. He helped me unload all the junk from my trunk and even let me peek inside the warehouse. It isn't very large, but you can tell they can handle large volumes as well. AES accepts all kinds of items for both home (tvs, air purifiers, digital cameras) and business (servers, pos machines, barcode scanners). For smaller amounts they request you do a drop off, but for sizable quantities you can schedule a pick up. They already work with various companies and can even help set up a recycling program for your business.
