CONS: - The only thing I can think of is, there are really no well marked parking spots here? I kind of just pulled my vehicle up next to the huge propane tank. They handed their receipts to other dudes, but not to Carlos Well, those dudes all came and went with their purchases while I still waited. I asked Carlos how long it would take, he said he had to get the metal from the back area because they didn't have any up front. He then proceeded to cut metal (not mine) on the saw there. After waiting 45 minutes and still no metal, I asked Carlos for my receipt back and went back inside for refund. A manager asked what the issue was, he checked the product and time on the receipt and then said he'd handle it. He went out to the yard, said some stuff on his radio and within 5 minutes, he came back with my metal and apologized for the wait and poor service from Carlos. Time is money and Carlos could care less. Anyhow, quite annoying but glad I found the manager and he solved the issue.

The employees guessed it was my first time and offered helpful suggestions. There are two drive up areas where u can exit and load bins for weighing . You need to separate the recyclables( plastic, aluminum and glass ) . It is much easier if u do thus beforehand in separate bags when u come here. Excellent experience with Unicorn Recycling today! I called around all over town to find a…read morereasonable/fair place to recycle some copper pipe scrap that was left over from a home re-pipe. Everyone else in the area wanted to offer me only half or less of what the current market rate was for #2 Copper (Class A) tubing. I called Unicorn and a delightful women answered the phone and was able to directly quote a (very fair) price to me right over the phone (only pennies under the current market rate) ... that's outstanding customer care and service! When I arrived at the location, the staff member who I met at the recycling area was quick, kind and assisted me with removing the material from my vehicle; he was easy to understand and very friendly. I told him that I had received a quote and he asked me what it was and honored the quote I was given. This has got to be, hands down, the easiest and best experience that I've ever had with a scrap material recycler! I will totally use this company again for any/all of my recycling needs and can wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and family. Thanks for knocking it out of the park! You guys rock!
