Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but 2 days in a roll that they did not pick up their phone when I called multiple times throughout the 2 days on the weekday before 3pm. So I decided to drive to the location at 1pm when their business voice message said they are open till 2pm. When I got their, one of the 2 good workers told me they open till 5:30pm on weekday. Both workers work fast with such long line and were very helpful. Price are 1 regular size tank is $19 and 2 or more is $16 each. Will be my go to propane refill place from now on. I've been going to Got Propane for a long time to fill my BBQ tank. Never any issued and always a good price ($3.75 per gallon as of June 2023). But today, the big guy taking care of customers failed to close the valve after filling my tank. Fortunately I had stopped a few blocks away because the tank was rolling around in my trunk, so I stopped to secure it. And when I checked the valve, it was fully open. Propane is odorless. My car could have easily turned into a propane bomb thanks to his carelessness. I'll continue to be a patron of Go Propane because of their good prices on propane fuel, but obviously I'll have to double check the valves of any tanks I get filled there in the future. read more

Basically you pay for a full tank , not for what was actually pumped. Example: your 5 gallon tank is never completely empty, there's residual from the last time it was filled, maybe a gallon. So they pump 4 gallons in but charge for 5 gallons. I guess it makes the math easier. $15 for every 5 gallon tank . read more

The only place I go to get propane! It's located near the corner of Rosemead & Garvey. Its in the same lot as the Rosemead Car Wash. You enter from the Rosemead side and NOT ON Mabel Ave. The older guy, Sal ( I think) is really nice. He likes to make small talk and is really friendly. As for the younger guy, not so much. He just does his job. I assume it's the son? Some days there would be a wait, mostly on Friday and the weekend. If you come during those days, be ready to wait. As for the rest of the week not some much. ** Hours They close everyday at 5PM besides Sunday. On Sunday's they close at 7-8PM. read more

Easy access and right on the corner adjacent to the car wash. Only downside is that they have a $17 minimum purchase. Only makes sense to come here if you're refilling 40+ lbs tanks or if you're doing one off purchases i.e. grocery stores. Standard bbq grills are 20 lbs tanks with 4.7 gallon capacity.
