Best place to get propane! I've try all type of refill propane methods. From gas stations, exchanged at 7/11, Home Depot, every where! Got propane is the best, most convenient place to refill your tank. You drive up, open your trunk, and the attendant doesn't all the rest. He checks the tank, empty the air, refills to your desired request, and reload that heavy tank in your car. You needn't even get out if your car. Awesome place... HIGHLY RECOMMEND ( even if you're not in the area). read more

Super easy and less expensive to fill up your tanks. You just pull up, the guy unloads them for you, fills them up, loads them back up and you're on your way all without even getting out of your car! Win win and I'll be back! read more

Super reasonable prices, friendly staff, what more do you want? I would highly recommend this place, it's a drive up so you don't even have to get off. They will fill it all up and they also accept Apple Pay. read more

Service was awesome and quick! The guy is a professional! We were in and out and he fixed our tank that didn't want to work.

Fast and cheap way to refill your propane tanks. Always great service and prices. It costs me about 40~ dollars to refill 3 bbq tanks

Super easy, quick, and MUCH cheaper than getting an exchange. Pro tip: they can refill exchange tanks that you might already have!

Very convenient, they even removed the tanks from my car and put them back. Good pricing, and friendly.

Always drove by this propane spot and never thought to refill my tank here since I just typically switch out at one of those self-service stalls. STOP DOING THAT AND COME HERE INSTEAD! Came Sunday morning just 1 person ahead of me and I was in and out within less than 5 minutes. The guy will help unload the propane tank from your car and reload it back into your car. It was super cheap to fill and I was charged $17 for my refill on a 15lb tank. Always coming here from now on. read more

Quick and easy service--pull up, fill up, and drive away without getting out of your vehicle! $3.75/gallon today, September 27, 2022. Please note that the hours listed on Yelp are INCORRECT! read more

This place was great. Great service, great price, drive up, and quick pay. Will definitely come back here all the time.

fast drive-through service. Filled an empty 20lb tank for $17 flat (which is their minimum charge). The business seems to be called "Got Propane?" now though. Maybe a change of ownership or something. read more

Update for anyone interested. Got Propane did raise their minimum charge from $17 to $19, but still cheap at $3.30/gl. Not sure what happened with the other reviewer, but the sign clearly says $19 minimum charge. I was just there on 7/6/22 Always great service here much better than going to u-haul and begging someone to help you. read more

Came here for some propane. I just pulled up the the side and they filled it up, I was already on my way. The cost me 35$ to fill up 2 standard sized propane tanks. read more

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but 2 days in a roll that they did not pick up their phone when I called multiple times throughout the 2 days on the weekday before 3pm. So I decided to drive to the location at 1pm when their business voice message said they are open till 2pm. When I got their, one of the 2 good workers told me they open till 5:30pm on weekday. Both workers work fast with such long line and were very helpful. Price are 1 regular size tank is $19 and 2 or more is $16 each. Will be my go to propane refill place from now on. I don't know if they accept credit card because I paid with cash since the line was long and I didn't want to slow thing down. read more

Got Propane - Business hours - Propane Near Me - South El Monte, California

Friendly, easy, fast, affordable prices. Never even had to get out of the car. What more could you want?

Someone recommended this place in my area. You drive up, they take the empty propane tanks, fill them, put them back in your car & I saved a ton of money Would I recommended this place...Heck yes!! read more

I've been going to Got Propane for a long time to fill my BBQ tank. Never any issued and always a good price ($3.75 per gallon as of June 2023). But today, the big guy taking care of customers failed to close the valve after filling my tank. Fortunately I had stopped a few blocks away because the tank was rolling around in my trunk, so I stopped to secure it. And when I checked the valve, it was fully open. Propane is odorless. My car could have easily turned into a propane bomb thanks to his carelessness. I'll continue to be a patron of Go Propane because of their good prices on propane fuel, but obviously I'll have to double check the valves of any tanks I get filled there in the future. read more

Basically you pay for a full tank , not for what was actually pumped. Example: your 5 gallon tank is never completely empty, there's residual from the last time it was filled, maybe a gallon. So they pump 4 gallons in but charge for 5 gallons. I guess it makes the math easier. $15 for every 5 gallon tank . read more

This was my first visit here, since UHaul was out of propane. Not only did I get a great quick fill of two tanks at a good price. I also had a great quick conversation with the awesome attendant who is a fellow Mustang owner. Great place with great friendly service! read more

The only place I go to get propane! It's located near the corner of Rosemead & Garvey. Its in the same lot as the Rosemead Car Wash. You enter from the Rosemead side and NOT ON Mabel Ave. The older guy, Sal ( I think) is really nice. He likes to make small talk and is really friendly. As for the younger guy, not so much. He just does his job. I assume it's the son? Some days there would be a wait, mostly on Friday and the weekend. If you come during those days, be ready to wait. As for the rest of the week not some much. ** Hours They close everyday at 5PM besides Sunday. On Sunday's they close at 7-8PM. read more

Scam, stay away. New dude works here claims there is a minimum charge $24. Not sure when they started this sh"t. I was only filling up half a tank about 4 gallons, was pretty upset. Plus the guy hands were glued to his phone,,,was still playing game or texting his GF or BF while digging changes from the register. Did not want to waste my time arguing....but will NOT come back for sure ( been filling up my tank at this place for more than 10 years) read more

Quick and easy! No more waiting 10 minutes to exchange tank from Home Depot! Recommended

Fast friendly service and always the best price in town. I drive from San Gabriel passing several locations that sell propane

+Nice worker and courteous/ethical enough to tell me upon hook up and noticing my gauge reading 1/3 full about the $17 minimum purchase before refilling my 2/3 empty tank. -$17 minimum purchase Decided to bring my tank here as it was long my travel route. Price today is $3.30/gallon about 1.20/gallon higher than my usual place but still cheaper than other refill stations (spot market price is $0.40 as of today). Easy access and right on the corner adjacent to the car wash. Only downside is that they have a $17 minimum purchase. Only makes sense to come here if you're refilling 40+ lbs tanks or if you're doing one off purchases i.e. grocery stores. Standard bbq grills are 20 lbs tanks with 4.7 gallon capacity. Tip: For heavy propane users, bring larger tanks for best value or wait until your 20 lbs tanks are empty due to the $17 minimum. read more

Great service and the price is good too. I can alway cont on this place to be open and don't judge me on the condition of my propane tank.

One propane tank refill cost $19 and they accept credit card payments. Pretty good service! You can leave your propane tank in the car and they'll help refill it. read more

First, make sure your tank is empty or pretty close to it because you're paying $15 bucks either way. Having a drive thru makes this place easy peazy. They unload and load the tank into your car. read more

Easy, drive through. Fill up and go. It's just propane, but this location is the easiest around my neighborhood.

Friendly staff, drive through. Easy and quick fill up for our RV propane tank. Out in less than 5 min.

Takes Credit and Debit Cards, not like a local uhaul which only wants cash and the kids that run it can't even operate the propane filling station. Definitely would recommend for last minute propane fill for grilling or whatever you use it for. read more

Cheaper than other propane spots I've been to. They got multiple hoses so they can fill up multiple tanks quickly. Might have a little line sometimes but it moves fairly quick considering it's usually only one guy. read more
