So I paid the $700. Then I called to get it turned on and they said I have to pay $250 more to get it turned on. So I paid it. Then I called AGAIN to make an appointment to turn it back on and they said it's $258 just to have someone come flip it back on. It's unbelievable, I cried to the manager, nobody cares. It's disgusting and I hope they get put out of business.

I live in Peppermint Mobile Home Park, and was using Amerigas as a propane supplier. Last September our park management decided to use another propane provider (Suburban) to serve the park collectively, and they finished installation early October. I wrongly assumed Amerigas would automatically stop my autopay since they wouldn't be delivering, but they were still billing me for October, November and December. I have since removed my autopay, but was still being charged. I canceled my account by phone in November, December, and now again, today, in January. Each time I call, it's a minimum of 30 minute wait, but today was over an hour -- and they hung up!! They may still be charging me, and to add insult to injury, have charged a late fee. However, I put in a claim with my bank for charges paid. Suburban Propane has been delivering propane since October 2024. According to the agent at Suburban, it is incomprehensible to charge monies on a product that was not delivered. To date, I still cannot get any answers as to why or how I can be billed for service that was not provided !!! :- (

After I changed out the igniter and checked the propane line coming into the water heater it appeared that it wasn't getting propane. Of course this was in the middle of the night when we arrived so I called the after hours line. They couldn't help diagnose at that time but scheduled a call from Kaitlin first thing the next morning. At 8 AM sharp I received a call from JS West and they tried to walk me through what to do. We determined that it wasn't a propane line issue but possibly another issue that would require a plumber. Drew graciously jumped in and said that he was going to be on other service calls this morning but was possibly going to be near Copperopolis around 11 AM and would give me a call if he can swing by. Since it was determined that it was not a propane line issue we assumed that he wouldn't be stopping by to take a look and started to reach out to Plumbing Companies. What do you know we got a knock at our door at 10:15 AM and it was Drew!! He was able to fix the problem and get the water heater lit!! Thank you Drew for going out of your way to help a customer out when you didn't have to! My Family thanks you for fixing the issue and allowing them to now take a hot shower today! HAHA. Which was a fun discovery when we arrived at our new home at 10 p.m. on a November night After a chilly first night in our new home I called Campora first thing Monday morning. Andrea was great. I waited until she'd quoted me their rates and new customer discount before confessing we were desperate for propane. She had Kyle bring me a temporary tank that afternoon. Which was such a relief. Fast forward one week. By which time we propane-newbies had worked through our temporary tank one day before our full-size tank was scheduled to arrive. Pam pulled strings and got yet another temporary tank dropped off that evening, so we had heat over night. When the the full-size tank arrived, the 2-man crew were friendly and efficient. And they even moved the old JS tank well down our driveway so it was out of sight. I've only been with Campora a month. But I've received quick and friendly service during all three tech visits, and all my calls to the office. They were a great introduction to propane life.

I was charged $113 at move out for a "restock" fee, which involved someone reading a meter and documenting a percentage. I am confused by what warrants such a fee when no gas is being transported. I had previously had issues with unwanted and unauthorized fill ups. I'd recommend either other propane company in town, which will gladly, FOR FREE, remove your Kamps/Superior tank and replace it. Both businesses do more honest and transparent business.

So they had to send the guy back out and his doo dad said there was a leak detected but from what I witnesses it looked like the leak was from the nut that hooks just below the open and close valve because he used a wrench to torque it 3 times and then his doo dad said no leak.
