Now we are facing what is being called the winter storm of the century, and my family is completely out of gas--not because we didn't pay, but because Thompson Gas failed to deliver it in a timely manner. This situation is both ridiculous and unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Thompson Gas to anyone.

The first time I spoke to them, they told me 2 to 3 business days to return my money to my account. The second time 3 to 5 business days. The third time they said it would take up to 7 business days. Today they are saying that it takes up to 10 days To say that I am very disappointed in Thompson gas would be an understatement. So, here's my recommendation: If you use AC&T, it's generally o.k., the drivers are great, the oil's pretty clean and you'll be o.k. most of the time but keep some K-1 on hand 'cause you might need it!

Last heating season 2024/2025 - they let me run out of propane (automatic delivery customer). This heating season 2025/2026 - they let me run out of propane the end of December and AGAIN today. December had to call multiple times and waited over 10 hours without heat until someone showed up. Today I have called twice already - still no return phone call as to when someone will be here. Back on the December issue, they also told me they would give me a credit on the charges (since I'm on automatic delivery). But of course, they did not make any adjustments to my charges. Customer service is horrible and they cannot get automatic deliveries coordinated properly.
