I am a heating oil customer on automatic delivery for years. I have run out several times, things happen, but they have always brought some oil in an emergency to get me through and filled it the next day. Not anymore. Now when you have an emergency, you're on your own. This was the coldest week of the year. I even called last week to say I was concerned about running low. They scheduled me for Tuesday which I didn't think was soon enough; I ran out Saturday night in 18-degree weather and high winds. Too bad. I had to call back the answering service after waiting until 2 am for a call back to be informed that they would get back to me in the morning and then was hung up on. Well, it's morning, still nothing. I tried to call, but nobody answers now. I presume she recognized my number. So, here's my recommendation: If you use AC&T, it's generally o.k., the drivers are great, the oil's pretty clean and you'll be o.k. most of the time but keep some K-1 on hand 'cause you might need it! read more

I have been a customer since the heating season of 2020/2021 - and on automatic delivery. The first season I had a leak (right after a fill up) and had no heat for a day - waiting on emergency service. Last heating season 2024/2025 - they let me run out of propane (automatic delivery customer). This heating season 2025/2026 - they let me run out of propane the end of December and AGAIN today. December had to call multiple times and waited over 10 hours without heat until someone showed up. Today I have called twice already - still no return phone call as to when someone will be here. Back on the December issue, they also told me they would give me a credit on the charges (since I'm on automatic delivery). But of course, they did not make any adjustments to my charges. Customer service is horrible and they cannot get automatic deliveries coordinated properly. read more

Had a new Trane heat pump installed on Monday December 22nd . However after they left it did not produce any heat. Called AC&T back 10 minutes before they closed. The tech came back out and worked until 6 troubleshooting but could not get it going. Whole team came back out early the next morning and fixed it right away. Works GREAT...so much better than our old unit. Thanks guys!!! read more

Zero stars should be an option. Ordered oil 12 days ago, plenty of time in advance. Was supposed to be delivered Thursday, 9 days after ordered. No problem. Thursday comes, no oil. I call at 4pm, I'm gauranteed it will be there that day; even if it's later in the day. Come Friday morning, nothing was delivered. Call in the AM, I'm told to call back at 2. Then at 2 told call back at 4. At 4pm, I'm told somehow despite being told just the night before we were gauranteed to get it that day that it may not be for another 3 days. Call the next morning, they can't tell me anything. No clue when it may come. They blame it auto-order customers, saying they somehow take priority over people that ordered 12 days ago. And just constantly told there's nothing they can do about it, which is also deceptive. If you have customers you can't deliver to on your promised date, it's as simple as making that the first stop on your route the next day. Seems like profit over customers is there main goal, at no point was there any offer of a plan or anything, just basically run out of oil and freeze as far as they're concerned. Go elsewhere, it's not worth the hassle. read more

I am very disappointed by the veggie delight wrap I just ordered. They did not let me know that the wrap was an extra $2 charge. I paid $10.38 for vegetables and a wrap. No avocado, because avocado is an extra $2 charge. I can get a better wrap for decidedly less money at Sheetz. I may come back for my daughter's egg and cheese sandwich, but I will never come back for myself. They don't even offer hummus, so nutritionally, it isn't even very good for you. Not a complete protein. The vegetables were at least fresh. That is why they got two stars. ​ read more

I have had this service for several years. Service has gone down hill. They clean when they want. Have called them several times wondering when they were going to service unit. Those who answer the phone are rude and don't really care if the customer is happy or not. Here we sit on a holiday weekend with several friends and family with a full, stinky port a jon. Reasoning this time was, our guys are on vacation. You need to learn how to run a business and not have all your workers off at the same time. But surely are not late on taking payment from account. I understand it is a hard job but learn to run your business. This is not the first time or the 5th time this has happened just this year. No more business from me! read more

This company is a standout! They deliver my heating oil to a rural cabin in Great Cacapon, West Virginia. On an emergency basis, the driver spent more than a half-hour getting his truck up a snowy hilly driveway, getting stuck a couple of times. He saved me a lot of money and heartache. My tank was so low there was a danger the heat would go off, resulting in frozen and burst pipes. Would check out all of their services. read more

We have been coming to this ac&t for several weeks now and I've finally had enough of the rude ladies behind the counter, apparently they think everyone can read they're mind i.e. One time they send me to a certain register to get quarters for the laundry and the next time they send me back to the other register. Everyone in your store is confused about what line to pay for they're purchase, and there's only one register open that you can pay for gas or grocery's and that is the majority of the customers. Also one washer is always broke. Very unorganized, very curt and short with customers not to mention fighting amongst them selves in front of customers. So hard to find good service these days, very sad. Note, the first visit here was awesome and the one guy we delt with at the diesel desk was awesome. read more

I ate here several times last week. Terrific food ! However, last Thursday we went to dinner and to our surprise they had ' Turkey and Stuffing ' We ordered it. I paid the bill and ask for cranberry sauce. They were not just out, they just don't serve it. Why would a place like this with such down home food not serve cranberry sauce with Turkey and Dressing. I would not have ordered had I known. First time, and last time, that I will eat Turkey and Dressing without it. Always-Always-Always ask if someone has cranberry sauce before ordering Turkey and Dressing. This place has the greatest staff ! read more

Cashiers were overly friendly. Gals running the deli window....not so much. They ran the lady off in front of me. She said she comes in all the time and orders a 2 piece chicken. Instead of just getting her what she asked for the gal behind the counter screams out "no you don't. I work here all the time and you don't come here" so the lady dropped her stuff and left. It's a truck stop. A VERY busy, very clean, VERY VERY good food truck stop. Screamin hot food both with breakfast and with chicken. I have had breakfast and chicken dinner several times and their service is always fast, friendly and right on the money. Try the breakfast sandwiches ~ yummy! They have a hot order counter or a dining area plus all the conveniances of a ahhh well conveniance store and then some. Great for a grab-n-go! read more

I live in NYC & every time I'm in Maryland, I HAVE to hit up AC&T. The prices are so cheap & the food quality is fresh. The hospitality is warm and genuine! I can't explain it, it's just different. My favorite place to eat after work when I dont wanna go home all late & cook. It's the closest thing I'm gonna get to a home cooked meal with the best service provided possible. The manager on 3rd shift (Shirley maybe started with an S) she is amazing. Her personality, her kindness, how she presents its herself is everything. She's always so kind to every customer. The food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G hot & fresh & like I said pretty much homemade, you just can't beat it especially for the price as well. Travelers stop by to try the world famous fried chicken! Always having different specials. My favorite is their fried chicken (breast & wings) cornbread & chili, apple crisp & mac & cheese. The best truck stop around. This is one of my favorite places to stop for fresh food while trucking. Their fresh made sandwiches and salads in the cooler case are tasty, filling, and the prices are unbeatable. Besides their massive grilled chicken and chef salads, they also have pasta and macaroni salads. I haven't tried any of the hot deli food yet, but it always looks fresh and appetizing. This place does get very busy though, especially after 5PM, and the store part is a little cramped. I definitely recommend this place if you're traveling down 81 through Maryland, you won't leave hungry. read more
