Picked up Samurai burrito to go - nice amount of fresh fish cuts, will definitely try others on their menu

Love to get sushi burritos on the go. Subo never disappoints. I normally get a classic #2 but I wanted to do something different. Got recommended a new burrito with tuna, crab, and tempura shrimp but don't know the name. Both were good as always!

I really enjoyed Subo Sushi Burritos. This is such a cool spot. I love the idea of sushi but in burrito form. I got one of the specialty burritos which was around 18$. The other ones were around 15$. For the size and amount of fillings they give you this is a great price. They did not skimp. The burrito was huge. The ingredients tasted really high quality and fresh. I also loved their sauce options. I got the spicy mayo and sweet soy which really added to the flavors. Inside there was limited seating but they did have a few tables. Great for takeout or dine in! Employees were really friendly. They take orders on their website and by phone. Also Grubhub and maybe some other food delivery service apps? Would definitely recommend trying this place out. Will impress your friends!

What a delightful meal! The customer service and the sushi is the best! My favorite is the ahi burrito, the Classic Number 10, with ahi, albacore tuna, masago, mango, cukes greens and more goodness! This is not fine dining although it is mighty fine eating! Customer service is friendly and free parking is available out front. Can't wait to go back!

Love this type of food. My first time having sushi burritos. My daughter has had them before and recommend this place for today. I had the #7 with the raw salmon (Fresh salmon, green onions, cream cheese, jalapeños, crispy wontons, field greens, cajun sauce). Tasted great! My daughter had the hipster (vegetarian) and liked it. The guy taking the orders could be a little friendlier. But the food is great!

I'm addicted. There are so many options there is someone for everyone here IMO. I think it is a decent size burrito and I get really full. I love the salad, cucumbers and cripsy wontons in #9 giving it some crunchy texture. It is a healthier option than some other take-outs for sure. It is a little pricey but when you think about it, its about the cost of 1 sushi roll and I am more full after.

I wasn't sure I would like a sushi in a burrito but my friend talked me into it. I was so glad I tried this and what better place than from Subo. I had the Panda burrito, Crispy tiger shrimp, surimi crab, cucumber, carrot, marinated seaweed salad, field greens and it came with a garlic cream sauce which was delicious. I would have loved to have bought some of that sauce to take home. So much deliciousness rolled up into a burrito wrap. Can't not go wrong coming here. They have a great variety of dishes including bowls. The atmosphere was good and the service quick was great! Definitely will be coming back.

Super sushi burrito! My sister and I grabbed Sūbo for lunch today. She got a #8 with mods to the sauces--which they easily accommodated. I got a #3 with no mods. The burritos were very tasty, and everything was very, very fresh! We had a bit of a wait, but this was expected because we went right during lunch. That's our fault. Even so, the wait was less than 20 minutes, which was very impressive considering the number of in-person and online/call-in orders they were handing. Definitely planning to return!

These sushi burritos are so good. Fresh, tasty and great sauces. People complain about price but worth the price for sure.

Food was okay, I got the salmon poke bowl and you could tell it wasn't the best fish but was alright. Probably rather just get sushi instead

I was a little skeptical about sushi in a burrito. But I got the panda and it was really good. The sauce was amazing with it.

Nice interior, and was waited on quickly. My waitress brought water, and took my order for green tea. It came quickly, a full mug, and a lovely little cast iron teapot with a second serving. Good tea, too! I ordered the nine piece Hamachi sashimi (on a diet... no carbs, lol)! I was brought a six piece... and let the waitress know that. Told her the six piece would be fine for now. Lovely presentation, and the hamachi was beautiful. Fresh too, no fishy odor and the color was good. It was delicious. I would eat here again!

Today I went and got a 'Caterpillar' roll and 'Day Dreamer' roll. Let me break it down for you. Caterpillar roll: AMAZING 10/10. I love sushi and this is a go to roll for me NO MATTER WHAT. This roll is always good, but Sushi Pure makes it amazing, the taste, texture, and fulfillment it brings is unmatched. Day Dreamer roll: Very Solid 7.75/10. This roll had me in a chokehold for a second. That's neither bad or a good thing. The taste all around was very good, but the texture through me off (more personal problem, so many of you may love this). It was like soft, then crunchy, then popping due to the fish egg. All around I would recommend, but it may not be for everyone. The servers I've had both times have always been so kind, quick moving, and motivated so the service is unmatched as well. All in all, Sushi Pure is a must try with an amazing atmosphere!

Wasabi - like, real wasabi! I kept dabbing in my mouth never having tasted it before. It's both spicier on the front of your tongue and more luxurious on the back. I want more. The fried chicken bao was unfugging, unbelievably delicious. Can we say unfugging on Yelp? We got the Mrs V roll - spicy tuna topped with seared beef. Again, buttery with Rich beef and tuna that's actually spicy. Excellent roll This was an elegant, refined and completely delicious experience. We will definitely be back.

Our server didn't smile and seemed so impatient when we asked questions about the menu. He was going off the clock and flippantly said, if you need anything ask the other guy or the bartender, both of which seemed disinterested in filling in for him. When we asked about which tuna nigiri was which (several were on the plate) they had no clue and were not interested in finding out for us. Food wise, it was okay and I've certainly had better but the lackluster service tainted the entire night.

Ordered the Ikura onigiri and the Japanese Sweet Potato and the Agadashi Tofu. (I asked for miso butter on the side for me because I have found it overwhelms the potato which is seasoned really wonderfully). The Ikura Onirigi was simple and excellent. My favorite wishes that they would create an regular Onirigi Happy Hour where they are on discount so that those of us who just want to have half a dozen of those and a few drinks can come in and experience our heart's delight. My drink of choice here is the Painkiller -- which is really well balanced and so delicious it's hard not to have a second. Wednesdays are when they have two dollars off the ginger-based drinks and I didn't try it this time but I am keen to the next time because they appear to crush the ginger in house and make their own ginger concoction magic. The bar was thankfully not crowded. As an introvert it was nice to be finishing up and heading out just as more people were coming in.

The place was packed, but thankfully we were seated quite quickly with a 5-10 minute wait. The interior is cozy and welcoming. It's dimly lit with mood lighting on the tables. It felt lively since the tables were packed. We started by ordering the sake and shoyu flights and some fries with wasabi mayo while we explored the rest of their menu. We received the flights quickly. Both flights had 3 flavors and were tasty and fun to try. Each flight comes with a menu describing the flavor profile and how the drinks were made. The flavors of each flight were distinct and matched their descriptions. The fries with wasabi mayo were pretty basic fries. They were well seasoned, had a nice crunch, and the mayo had a subtle wasabi flavor without it being spicy. For our next round we ordered the salmon misoyaki, butternut squash, tofu kushiyaki, and steak kushiyaki. Unfortunately, our server forgot to bring our butternut squash, but we ended up being full with the rest of the food we ordered and just took it off our order. The salmon misoyaki was delicious - perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. The mustard greens on the side added a nice sourness. The tofu kushiyaki was tender and flavorful. The steak kushiyaki was well-seasoned, but more well done than I preferred and a little tough. Next, we ordered the spinach goma ae and umeboshi unigiri. The spinach goma ae was such a pleasant surprise! It's a chilled spinach dish with a tamari/black sesame sauce that was refreshing mid-meal. Really good umami flavor! The umeboshi onigiri had the expected sharp salty/sour flavor that balanced well with the ratio of rice. Ended up dipping the umeboshi onigiri in the goma ae sauce to get every last drop. For dessert we ordered the basque cheesecake and créme brûlée. The cheesecake was just okay. The menu said there was sake and black sesame flavors, but apart from some black sesame dust on the plate we couldn't taste the sake/sesame. The texture was thick and not super smooth. It was a pretty heavy dessert and not very sweet. The créme brûlée was yummy. The custard was smooth and the crunchy caramelized sugar on top was a nice contrast in texture and flavor. The service itself was slow. We were waiting around 15 minutes between orders. Given, it was a busy night. However, we felt a bit forgotten as our server did forget to bring one of our dishes, we had to ask for our dessert menus twice, and we were accidentally served two basque cheesecakes instead of our order of cheesecake and créme brûlée. The staff were friendly, and quickly brought out the correct desserts at the end. I'd recommend ordering more dishes at once so you can enjoy more food in between orders. Would definitely come back again to try the rest of their menu. We wanted to try the Japanese sweet potato but they had sold out that night. The oysters, sashimi, and udon also looked quite good!
