So good - Two sushi burritos filled with vegetables, fish, and rice, wrapped in paper, with a small container of sauce in the middle.

It's so good here I love my sushi burritos I get here. I wish they had a drive thru lol love it though

I stopped by at 4pm to pick up an order to go on my way to work. The dining room was empty and I was greeted promptly. I ordered my favorite, the classic #2, with spicy mayo for my choice of sauce. You get to choose and they have several choices like spicy mayo and sweet wasabi, including classic soy sauce. I was happy to see their expanded selection of beverages in their beverage cooler including classic Japanese beverages like Ramune and Calpico. They also have bubble tea and melon tea, as well as coconut water. There is something for everyone. My order was prepared quickly and I was on my way. Everything was prepared as ordered and was very fresh and tasty.

The wait was a bit longer than usual yesterday but I tried something new and it was SO good. The veggies are so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the mushroom appetizer! The variety of sauces is my favorite part.

Classic #6 burrito

I have had these folks bookmarked for a while as I love to try something a little different - plus seafood. The ingredients tasted good quality although I felt as though the burrito was wrapped for design and not necessarily balanced with ingredients (I had a lot of rice/vegetable bites). Protein was pretty light in my opinion and I was full from rice and not satisfied with protein. I would still come back but I think I would order a side or ask for extra meat the next time I order so that I don't feel hungry 2 hours later.

Bitch excuse me? Is this food for ants? A tablespoon worth of poke ain't it.
Josie N.

I am gonna keep it a buck with you it's not worth the price point. I got a salmon burrito in a bowl and... I kid you not I got like a tablespoon worth of salmon poke. Like huh????? The cut up cucumbers were soggy, mostly paying for veggies if I'm being honest.

If you want late night food that is satisfying & served with good vibes - this is the spot ! We were pleasantly surprised - this place is so much more then just sushi burritos ! We tried the bowls !!! & they got veggie options ! Try it out !!

Magic cap

They have moved from their food truck into a brick and mortar location. The space is small and intimate and the food is still very delicious. Now that they have a full fledge kitchen they've expanded their menu which includes adding an additional vegetarian burrito option. I would always get the hipster with no cucumbers, but seeing the newly added magic cap I had to give that a go ... with no cucumbers. (cucumbers are terrible, sorry but not sorry). The flavor was spot on. A little crunch from the crispy mushrooms, the freshness from the greens, and the heat from the roasted carrots. Their food truck was one of my reliable go-tos for when I need something fast, filling, and vegetarian and I am happy to report that they still are.

Adorable little hole in the wall. They greeted us when Incredible poke bowls. The best poke bowl I've ever had. The ingredients were so fresh. I absolutely loved the ingredients. The potstickers are a must. They weren't greasy at all. Great job creating the food at this establishment. My family loved the food. We will return.

The onigiri was good, and this was an online order, so nothing about service or ambiance. I just wish that onigiri was sold in stores around here. Good food!

Classic #3 Sushi Burrito - A sushi burrito sliced in half reveals rice, raw fish, and fresh vegetables inside, served with a small container of sauce.
Kaythlin Y.

Cute spot with my go-to sushi burritos! Their Classic #3 had all my favorite sushi toppings like fresh salmon and crispy wonton strips, and their sweet wasabi sauce was surprisingly my most memorable flavor from my meal! Wished the burrito had rice covering the ends- would have made it perfect! Limited indoor seating for groups of less than 4, and for a midday lunch date it was the perfect setting. However- seems to be more busy with online orders, and staff seemed to be in no rush with orders this visit

Love this place! Thanks for offering vegan options! The Hipster sushi burrito is so good!

Samurai Burrito - This was how I received my food.
Ross C.

I have been going to the Springfield location ,formally known as Unami, for years. Today I went to the Blair St spot and ordered a Samurai and Ninja burrito to go. I was the only one in the restaurant mind you. When I got home I opened the burrito and it was all soggy, the nori had stuck to the wrapper and had torn all down the burrito. This thing was impossible to eat because it kept falling apart. The ingredients weren't mix throughout the burrito, so it was like a huge bite of cucumber, next bite; some salad with some fish. The spread of rice was too thick in some spots and not enough in others. My partner experienced the same with her burrito. Maybe it would be wise to dine-in instead. I will not be returning. So brutal.

Two sushi burritos with purple rice, avocado, and sauces are placed on a brown paper-lined tray, accompanied by a small container of orange sauce and a drink.

Salmon was equally good; the coating was light and their homemade tartar sauce very good. They offer 6 other sauces besides tarter and ketchup, which is a nice option. They have live fish and seafood, plus cases of whole crabs, fish filets and much more. Their cole slaw looked really good, but we had already eaten. Can attest that ordering at the "dynamite" level of spiciness could be too hot for many diners. Food was delicious and the robot server is adorably polite. Only minor complaint were the portions of the corn, potatoes & sausage (basically a few slices of hot dog). Given the prices at this seafood restaurant, and the low cost of corn, potatoes & hot dog, why not increase the size of these items?! Star lost for portion size. Place isn't fancy but staff are friendly & prompt.

This isn't the place to bring a group. Inside is tight-there are two small low tables close by together and a narrow bar at one end with maybe 5 stools. There is an outdoor seating area but it was full today. Menu is fairly small. They have fish & chips, fish sandwiches, fish/shrimp salads and 3 types of grilled fish with rice. There are a few sides. There are also daily specials. We had a salmon sandwich with a side of fries and grilled yellowtail with rice which was the special for the day. The salmon sandwich (ordered no sauce or shredded cabbage) was good but nothing special. I'm sure the cabbage and tartar sauce would have given it a bit of zip. The fries were ok. The yellowtail didn't have much flavor until you out what tasted like a light teriyaki. It had brown rice which was nice & chewy and the sauce gave it flavor. You really have to cook fish with flavors like garlic, lemon or something to give it flavor. Service was really good. They were very willing to put things on the side or remove them. I don't think I'd go back. If it's nothing special, I'm not going to pay for a meal out.

The fries as an appetizer were SO good! I ordered the long bone pork chop with arugula, and apple slaw, it was TO DIE FOR! Perfectly cooked and the pairing of fruits and veggies was amazing! I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and shared with my daughter. I've never really been a fan of main dishes not coming with at least one side but I did like that it was easy to share. 2 of my kids split a New York steak and it was the perfect amount of meat, it was cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. Of course my other son ordered his old stand by of lobster Mac n cheese and loved it just as much. My husband had the seared ahi tuna. It was a lot smaller than we expected for the $$$. We are used to big Hawaii prices but with those prices you usually get a decent amount (I realize that it is easier to come by there). Our server was lovely and the atmosphere is very chic! Ordered the Ikura onigiri and the Japanese Sweet Potato and the Agadashi Tofu. My favorite wishes that they would create an regular Onirigi Happy Hour where they are on discount so that those of us who just want to have half a dozen of those and a few drinks can come in and experience our heart's delight. The place was packed, but thankfully we were seated quite quickly with a 5-10 minute wait. The interior is cozy and welcoming. It's dimly lit with mood lighting on the tables. It felt lively since the tables were packed. We started by ordering the sake and shoyu flights and some fries with wasabi mayo while we explored the rest of their menu. We received the flights quickly. Both flights had 3 flavors and were tasty and fun to try. Each flight comes with a menu describing the flavor profile and how the drinks were made. The flavors of each flight were distinct and matched their descriptions. The fries with wasabi mayo were pretty basic fries. They were well seasoned, had a nice crunch, and the mayo had a subtle wasabi flavor without it being spicy. For our next round we ordered the salmon misoyaki, butternut squash, tofu kushiyaki, and steak kushiyaki. Unfortunately, our server forgot to bring our butternut squash, but we ended up being full with the rest of the food we ordered and just took it off our order. The salmon misoyaki was delicious - perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. The mustard greens on the side added a nice sourness. The tofu kushiyaki was tender and flavorful. The steak kushiyaki was well-seasoned, but more well done than I preferred and a little tough. Next, we ordered the spinach goma ae and umeboshi unigiri. The spinach goma ae was such a pleasant surprise! It's a chilled spinach dish with a tamari/black sesame sauce that was refreshing mid-meal. Really good umami flavor! The umeboshi onigiri had the expected sharp salty/sour flavor that balanced well with the ratio of rice. Ended up dipping the umeboshi onigiri in the goma ae sauce to get every last drop. For dessert we ordered the basque cheesecake and créme brûlée. The cheesecake was just okay. The menu said there was sake and black sesame flavors, but apart from some black sesame dust on the plate we couldn't taste the sake/sesame. The texture was thick and not super smooth. It was a pretty heavy dessert and not very sweet. The créme brûlée was yummy. The custard was smooth and the crunchy caramelized sugar on top was a nice contrast in texture and flavor. The service itself was slow. We were waiting around 15 minutes between orders. Given, it was a busy night. However, we felt a bit forgotten as our server did forget to bring one of our dishes, we had to ask for our dessert menus twice, and we were accidentally served two basque cheesecakes instead of our order of cheesecake and créme brûlée. The staff were friendly, and quickly brought out the correct desserts at the end. I'd recommend ordering more dishes at once so you can enjoy more food in between orders. Would definitely come back again to try the rest of their menu. We wanted to try the Japanese sweet potato but they had sold out that night. The oysters, sashimi, and udon also looked quite good!
