It took me a minute to let off some steam from how annoyed this place made me. I usually go to the Murrieta location on MHS and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them there. I wanted to order a party platter (4 subs cut into smaller cuts) for a small event that evening, I usually call the Murrieta location the morning of and it's never been an issue. Well unfortunately the Murrieta location was closed this day 3/1/24, so I called this Menifee location instead. I called in the morning a couple times, nobody answered so I gave it a rest. I waited about an hour before trying to place the order again, when a very rude guy answers the phone "we are too busy to take your order right now, call back in 15-20 minutes". I totally understand if this was the case, but the attitude was a little much. I should've gave up at that point, but everyone always raves about submarinas sandwich's so I figured I would try and give them a chance... since it's normal for people to get frustrated when they are busy and stressed. I called after some time, to when the same rude guy answers. I explain I would like to place an order for a party platter, he says "oh I can't do that, you're going to need to talk to someone else"... placed me on hold. Again, so rude. Another guy answers, I explain how I had attempted to place the order earlier in the day, as I felt like I was cutting it closer to the end of the day to place the order...(it was 3 hours prior to needing the sandwich's, but I wanted to give them enough time) Unfortunately he was another rude employee who says "You want this TODAY?! We have to order those weeks in advance." I explained how I do not understand why, since it's never been an issue for the other location... and it's literally 4 sandwiches. He explains they order a different bread...? So I asked if I could just order 4 different sandwiches. He again states in a rude manner "um are you talking about a party platter?" This is where I gave up. Thank the Lord for helping me control my patience because this was beyond annoying at this point. The attitude, sass and disregard to a customers order was so unprofessional. Please learn customer service skills. read more

I'd go the extra mile just to come to this Submarina as opposed to the other one near the JC. I called in to ask about their vegetarian sandwiches and I got GREAT service over the phone and I went ahead and ordered and when I came in to pick it up around 1 it wasn't busy at all so all the workers were just having a fun time talking while working and upon arrival I said I had a pick up and I'm assuming it was the girl who took my order remembered my name and said it in a cheery way and that seriously turned my crappy day around! It's the little things that counts and on top of it I opened my sandwich and it was so full and filling! Subway who?? This is the best sandwhich in town! My new favorite after workout spot. They have so many scrumptious & deliciously flavorful sandwiches. I highly recommend their squaw roll if you like some sweetness. The staff has always been very friendly and nice. If you are looking for a food coma get the meatball sub! They also have salads, chips, & drinks. It always smells so good when you walk in. Variety of cheeses to choose from. You can get long sub rolls or square types of bread for your sandwhiches. Love their boom boom sauce & honey chipotle. Will definitely be coming back to try their broccoli cheddar soup! Always so much yum in the marina. read more

My family and I have been in the area for a while and have never tried Submarina before. Well, today we tried it and it was awesome. I got the tuna on the jalapeño cheddar bread and my wife got the Santa Fe on the regular bread. Both sandwiches had great flavor and the bread was perfect. The workers behind the counter were so polite and very informative in explaining some of the most popular sandwiches. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a cool atmosphere. We highly recommend this location and we will be coming back again soon. read more

Going back to 1-star. Usually don't knock for prices. They are what they are. Submarina has already been a bit pricier than Subway, but better. They just keep going up and up though. A regular type of 12" sandwich is over $17 with tax now. That's insane! Just another place using this current economy and inflation as an excuse to go even higher than what inflation should be increasing them to . Looks like I'll finally be done with Submarina's, at least till I win the lottery. read more

I simply ordered a sandwich to go, picked up my order and got to the park opened up my sandwich and the bread was broken in pieces hard, and stale. I called and talked to the manager/owner and he denied he even had taken my order. I didn't want a refund just letting them know the bread was bad so they didn't serve it to someone else! As someone who is from South Florida and has tried Publix subs, I can tell you these are as close as we can find over here in the west coast. Although we haven't really ventured out and tired many places , this will be our go-to for sub sandwiches when in need. I have to admit by far hands down the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. Outside of a little Italian man who made some really good Italian sandwiches but he's been making them for decades. I'm sure these gentlemen will get to that caliber someday. I will admit they're pretty darn close. Every time I get there sandwiches they're always big full of meat cheese veggies why would anyone want to go to Subway. Honestly in one country their bread is considered dessert and their fish is up for debate..... This was my first time at a submarina location ever. It was good it was really good I have the dark oat bread I had ham and turkey the turkey was a little salty but I can't fault them because they didn't make it they just use that solution injected turkey like everybody else does which is basically become the norm unless you're a capriotti's in you make your own everyday. price wasn't bad for a very full half a sandwich I was impressed with the people to very friendly. I come here often and my last visit I just realized how much I like this place. Reason being, they just opened a Subway not too far from here in the local mall. Went there to grab a sandwich and then I sat there wishing I spent my money at Submarina. Haha! It's just so much better. Better bread, better ingredients(and this place doesn't skimp out on that stuff). The people are cool. The owner is good to me and my kids. Plus, this place is always pretty clean. A Subway sandwich is always a pain to make. They never put enough and when I ask for more it's still not enough. And the place is always dirty to me. It's probably because the ingredients they put always seems to fall out of the sandwich. Anyway, goto Submarina. It's a bit more expensive but you get better quality food than Subway. Submarina is a bit like subway but sandwiches arent all mushy and soggy like subway gets with all their sauces. More seating and more comfortable than subway as well but submarinas are a bit hard to find everywhere. Good service and not busy at this one. read more
