I usually enjoy Del Taco! I see they raised prices AGAIN. Although well known for its value, the new price hike might just be a double whammy because of shrinking portion sizes. My carne asada fries where ugly and at $7.00 for sure on the skimpy side. There was a very pleasant lady taking care of the dining area, she was outgoing and polite. Rodrick (I believe that's how you spell it) has one of the best customer service I've dealt with here at this location. I walked in the establishment went and ordered food when I normally don't and he really went above and beyond with his customer service. Took care of me when I was asking for sauce and what not. Hands down, best Del Taco I've ever been to. Tacos, burrito and fries were super fresh and hot, everything tasted amazing, cheese and veggies were good quality. I asked for my burrito to be made well done in the quesadilla press and they were happy to do it. Staff were super friendly and upbeat. Dining room was well kept and neat, drink area was clean, restrooms were very clean. Not sure what's up with the low star rating, don't even care, my experience was awesome! Well don't order the breakfast burrito early in the morning... I did and I I did it through instacart via GrubHub. I got a breakfast burrito well I got two I got a lot of stuff because I don't order just one thing and then pay $30 for delivery fees and stuff I buy a lot of stuff to cover the cost and give me food for at least a week. So I got me a breakfast burrito * 2 plus other things that I haven't eaten yet. But I was like into my second bite of the breakfast burrito and I was like this doesn't taste right. ... And so I looked and there were big white chunks of egg white and then it was just raw egg white..... I ate pure salmonella. I'll never order from here again! And yes I have been having intestinal issues all day long.... I can't even keep down water right now. It's basically it's food poisoning 101. I mean first of all they didn't properly cook the breakfast burrito the eggs that they put I don't even know how they got the eggs inside of the burrito because they were so runny.... The customer service or lack of customer service is shameful. I understand everyone has personal issues, but that doesn't allow people to be rude to others. This evening will placing my order, the clerk named Julie was EXTREMELY rude for no reason. I could tell she may have been having a bad day, however that doesn't excuse her rudness towards me and everyone she was dealing with. She was even rude to her fellow employees. That has got to be bad for business and work place morale. Whoever owns this franchise should talk to her, or better yet her fire her. She must not like her job. We had just come from an unpleasant experience at another Del Taco location (Newport & Menifee) and decided to stop at the Del Taco on Newport & Murrieta Rd to grab something for the kids, who were still hungry. From the moment we pulled in to the drive thru , Georgia turned our day around. She was kind, pleasant, and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We want to like Del Taco more than we do, but they are miserable in getting the order right. I mean, it's printed right there on the receipt. Soft Taco, not Crunchy Tacos, add sour cream, etc. And yet when you look into the bag, it's all wrong. With all the terrible reviews of this location I was afraid to try it for a while but everytime I've been here I've had a great experience. I don't go through drive through I go in the store. But the food has always been great quality for fast food place and the workers have always been friendly. I even watched one of the employees give a woman her order for free cause it was late and she was having issues with her card, so they have good customer service as well from what I saw. read more

Worse service ever. I don't know his name but was told it was Donnivan. He had a frown on his face. Large earloop in ear. This guy is always angry. I patronage this establishment often but after three or more tries enough is enough. This guy never seem to smile. This guy never greets or welcomes you. This guy seems to have some issues that is not good. I really feel that he is an accident waiting to explode. I am in the industry of dealing with customers from every angle. I have some that is happy, Pissed off, etc. I would NEVER treat someone who is helping pay my wages bad regardless of the situation. the manager here needs some more training or something...i mobile ordered a large jumbo shrimp meal which comes with a large fry and a large drink. I go pick up my order in the drive thru and the cashier hands me the food and i tell her i also had a large drink. She checks the screen and says she doesn't see it there and then the manager comes up and as the cashier is explaining to her what's going on i pull up the order and show the manager. She looks at the screen and says "i don't see it..." i point directly to it even though it's right there in front of her face and then she STILL goes "ill go ahead and give it to you this time but we don't have it on our screen." Like okay and i showed you that i paid for it on my screen so why still give me an attitude about it???? How is it my problem that your system doesn't work right? I go here frequently, as why i'm rating 3 stars instead of 1. The customer service recently has been extremely off. I didn't get my two straws, and told the young girl at the window nicely that we didn't get our straws. With an annoyed face, she says "it's wrapped in the napkins." Seeing that she's annoyed or having a bad day, I left. I then check my bag and there is no straws in it. Not a big deal, just treat your customers with a smile. I work in customer service as well and no matter what kind of day I am having, or what kind of attitude a customer is giving me, I use a smile and provide what they need! read more

This place sucks, I've lived next to this del Taco for the last five years and over the past year and a half It's gone to shit. There can be four cars in a line through the drive-through and you're waiting anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes just to get through. They're always giving you the wrong order and to top it off They skimp on making the burritos correctly. I swear I get more meat in my taco than I do my actual burrito. It is literally water with strawberries on the bottom. There is no flavoring at all.
