Albacore Tuna
Karen S.

Clean place, friendly crew. We were looking for deli sandwiches driving from San Diego to Palm Springs and this showed up on a search . It was a small step up from Subway. My husband said the tuna sandwich was good. I ordered double meat on my turkey to get enough protein. It was soft with no texture. The rolls were fresh.

This is what the Turkey Club Salad on the website shows

I've been very happy with Submarina. Haven't been in years though but the last couple of months have had really good experience. Except yesterday I got a Turkey Club Salad and it was a terrible experience. The second pic shows what kind of old gross salad I got. The first pic was what the pic looks like on their website. But it was nothing like this. There wasn't cubed chicken, just deli meat, no avocado and no green onions. Which I find crazy because they don't even offer green onions. But what I got was half the salad was disappointing. I picked out all the bad lettuce but I ended up ditched the salad because I was just grossed out. I would assume if they are known for handmade salads. The employees would see lettuce that looked like that and throw away. I won't be eating there anymore.

Holy Crap, I have been looking for a good grinder forever and guess what? I finally found it. Submarina is a versatile Sandwich shop that does not disappoint. I have had sandwiches from them for two days in a row the first day I had a turkey grinder on a hoagie roll made exactly how I asked for it and the second day I had the triple which was roast beef ham and turkey which was absolutely amazing and again made exactly how I asked for it.The prices are reasonable and even if they weren't I would still eat here because I love a really good grinder I can't wait to try other options and I will definitely be returning. Just a warning I'm a big eater so the first sandwich I got I got a 12 inch thinking it would be like Subway and boy was I wrong I ate off that thing for like three meals the portion size is really good worth every penny!!!

Best sub sandwich in Menifee! Price is worth the effort -- get what you pay for. Friendly service too. Thanks

The staff and management go above and beyond for their customers, and the food is superb! Talk about incredibly fresh bread, and ingredients, and don't even get me started on their cookies! My gosh, talk about delicious! Between my husband and me and my parents, we have tried the Club, the Cali, and the Chimichurri Steak sandwiches. All winners! If you need or are curious about their gluten-free focaccia bread, do NOT hesitate to order it! It's SOOOOO good! I almost prefer it over the regular focaccia bread; hard to say, though, because they are both delicious. We recently tried their Ahi Tuna bowl as well, and that was pretty good! Can't beat their sandwiches, honestly, but it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. The drinks they have are also wonderful. Not your typical Coke or Pepsi products. Another refreshing change of pace! Great flavors to choose from, and you have to try their Dragon Fruit Agua Fresca! Delicious! It's perfectly sweetened without being too much! All in all, this place is a winner! Eat here, you won't regret it!

I've already eaten here 3x in a month! They also have really cool old fashioned sodas and cookies which are soft . The location is nice, you can sit inside or outside. The only thing is the service could be a little better. Last time I was there they had all this staff working the counter but one person working the register and the line was backed up to the door and no one stepped in to assist. So that could be improved but the food is fantastic!

Still looking for a good cheesesteak... For an average…read morecheesesteak sandwich it's okay. When it comes to cheesesteak sandwiches I guess I'm kind of picky. Norther CA has a place called the The Cheese Steak Shop and I love their sandwiches. If you're familiar with The Cheese Steak Shop and want a cheesesteak sandwich like theirs keep looking.

Pardon My Cheesesteak, you owe me an apology.** I was…read moreexcited to try this place during the power outage, thinking I'd get a decent meal. Instead, I spent over $50 on two chicken cheesesteaks, cold fries, two fountain drinks, and donut holes -- and it was an absolute disaster. Let's start with the bread. It tasted like someone washed it, then smashed it and said, "Cook it up!" It was flat, soggy, and had none of the fresh, soft texture you'd expect from a real sandwich bun. The chicken cheesesteaks weren't even close to what was advertised. The cheese was melted terribly -- like a 4th grader's science project -- and the chicken had zero seasoning, with little to none on the bread. This was *not* the flavorful sandwich I was promised. The fries were cold, the donut holes were whatever because they lacked sugar, and the fountain drinks were the only part of this that weren't a letdown. But honestly, $50 for this? I could've gotten better food for half the price. I wanted to give this place a shot, but now I know better. Pardon My Cheesesteak clearly doesn't care about quality, and I'm definitely not coming back. Save your money and find something better.
