Unfortunately we will no longer be visiting this place. Starting with repeated phone order issues which management is casting on their provider, hangup, no answer, but doesn't appear to be taken seriously, to incomplete orders, no roast beef on my wife's 3 meat KC and an extreme shortage on my extra meat salami & cheese. Even though I witnessed the hangup issue and was able to call into the shop while being taken care of by a new employee (and heard several other calls), enough is enough, got my card completed but won't be returning to cash it in. read more

I wish I would have taken the advice from the couple of bad reviews. the place was clean, but certainly not worth the price, I got the Turkey, bacon, sandwich, and when he took my sandwich to the back to put the lettuce and others of that nature on it. I felt unease not only was it little to no meats, but it had an eyelash on the top of it, and it was loaded with nasty salad dressing and the bread was not fresh.....And I passed up 5 subway to get here. they will never see me again........ JUST PLAIN AND NASTY....... and on top of that they sale mail box, so they handle mail, keys, and food..... I still don't get what all the rave is about this place. read more

After a jaunt out to the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve go on ahead and swing in here! I haven't had a sub this tasty in a very long time. It was amazing and I apologize for doubting you! The meat was sliced real thin, as was the cheese. The bread wasn't the best, but it did the job deliciously and held all the tasty nibbly ingredients in. You get a side of pineapple too...which was neato... I liked the community vibe with all of the local business cards tucked under plexiglas...oh...and the mailboxes lining the wall...that was neato too! read more

This is a great small chain restaurant. We frequent this sandwich shop for lunch. Sometimes it feels like you're being rushed a little, but that's one of the reasons I like it because I can get my lunch quickly. The portions are large, the service is friendly. My husband and I love this new discovery!! I almost didn't try this place because of some of the past reviews, and boy i'm so glad we did! The staff is so friendly and the sandwiches are so good! They also give you a couple of large pieces of fresh fruit like pineapple, honeydew melon, cantelope and watermelon. They also offer a free bag of their delicious homemade pickles and their salads are huge& piled high with so many goodies . If your looking for a much better sandwich than subway, here's your place. Yes they are often very busy but they are so worth it! It's always a good sign when you see a parade of firemen, policemen, construction workers and young professionals waiting in a long line for a sandwich. I went here with my brother, his wife, and my niece for the first time this past Valentine's Day. I am from NY and hadn't ever even heard of a Submachine. Honestly, the best sub sandwich place that I have ever been to. Fresh delicious ingredients. What made it even better was the fact that they were so welcoming and the girl who helped us was the sweetest. Her name is Carly if I remember correctly. the best chef salad ever i have mine made with everything plus mafia style veggies which adds spinach olives bell peppers pickles and jalapenos....The YUMMIEST it a pretty large portion i habe it for 2 meals. the pickles in the jar are to die for super crunchy. the subs and meats are fab too hunny always gets the one with sauage link and grilled onions and peppers. read more

The West Lancaster Sub Machine is amazing! Their sandwich bread is always super fresh and soft, they are extremely generous with the toppings and I love that you get a piece of fresh fruit with the combo meals! Their staff is always very friendly, they work quickly and the restaurant is always clean and well-kept and their food is always consistent! This place is an embarrassment to all sandwich places everywhere. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich. Under hot sandwiches. It comes out cold. I said to the guy hey man can you throw this in the oven and he said they don't have an oven. So why does your menu say you have hot sandwiches???? Then I get home and the chicken is grilled!!!!!!!!!! A chicken cutlet is breaded chicken that is fried....everywhere else. A hot sandwich is a hot sandwich everywhere else. I usually never write reviews, but I had such a displeasing experience here today. It is not sanitary, nor pleasing to look at. I would not have been looking at health issues if we got in and out of there. We waited way beyond anyone else because they forgot to call out a pastrami sandwich. The older lady in the back was very snappy and rude to her coworkers which made it uncomfortable for the customers-the window she was putting sandwiches on seemed dirty as well.
