Suarez has now changed to La Esperanza Bakery. Good selection, higher prices. Helpful staff and good parking.

Quiet disappointment to say at the least. I ordered 2 smash cakes from Sparkle Queen Desserts and…read moreBalloons and 12 cake pops. Spent $150 for one of Remis smash cakes to turn a very unpleasant green color and have paper left on the cake under the frosting. When I contacted the owner asking how this cake could turn colors she told me she was sorry, she had no idea why it would change colors, I don't offer refunds but I can give you $30 off your next order. I ordered a funfettie and Mable cake and they both have overwhelming flavor of cinnamon. I did not ask for any cinnamon. It was just the cakes and buttercream frosting. This cake was suppose to be used for Remis smash cake photo shoot and that obviously didn't happen. Offering a credit to someone who has a displeasing experience does not make them want to spend more money on them! Buyer beware! I do NOT RECOMMEND this lady to make any cakes.

Half chocolate, half vanilla, piñata cake. My friend literally squealed when she cut into it! Andrea delivered (for a reasonable fee) and even picked up the champagne, balloons AND made specialty champagne flutes! My friend said the cake was delicious and so was the candy! Loved supporting her and she made it so easy. Just make sure to double check your order with her, she's a busy mom!

You're greeted by the bakery case featuring grossly oversized goods when you first walk through the door. The building is clean, cute and cafeteria style. We had a table of three. We were first served with the chips and salsa. The chips were warm and crunchy -- a little salty for my taste, but I don't eat a lot of salt - and the salsa was fantastic. I had the beef Mama Taco, which is plate sized and big enough for two. The ingredients were fresh and very well seasoned. Guest two had the special of the day, a beef, a chicken and a cheese enchilada served with rice and beans. They were only able to finish two of the enchiladas. Hopefully I'm giving you an idea of the portion sizes. I thought the beans were a little thin, but tasty, and the rice was moist. Guest three had the carne asada. It also came with the rice and beans, choice of corn or flour tortilla, and a roasted jalapeno. That was the only guest able to finish the meal, but was miserably full. The three of us tried to finish one of their cream cheese cinnamon rolls. We couldn't do it. They are monsters. We took home a cinnamon roll and some Bavarian cream horns. They were both absolutely fantastic. The cinnamon roll was loaded with cream cheese frosting, very soft, and easily the size of 4 of the ones I make at home. The prices are perfect. I don't recall a plate over $10.00 and the most expensive bakery item is $3.00. It's a little off the beaten path, but it's one of those undiscovered gems that will easily become your favorite.
