She had an external fixator on her leg, an acute care hospital stay, and an inpatient rehab stay following her acute hospitalization. We chose to work with Willow tree bakery after meeting them at the Idaho wedding expo. There cakes were all so beautiful we had to taste one. During out tasting Tina was so sweet, our daughter was having a bad day and crying but tina offered to help with anything we needed for her including toys and ointment. He kindness in contagious. Tina crafted us a two tiered cake with bark, toad stools and our wedding flowers on top (roses and tulips). Additionally we chose to have cupcakes and cookies for guests. The white chocolate huckley berry cookies were the best cookies I have ever had and the pistachio cupcakes with lemon curd frosting were a hit! Worth every penny and Tina was a delight to work with. I contacted willow Tree Bakery for the cake of my baby when she turned 6 months. The lady was very nice and answered quickly. The reason of my 3 stars was because I didn't like the taste of the cake and feeling much, neither my husband. We just ate one piece each and never touched it again. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something that I would keep eating. Also the decoration wasn't as clean. I put the giraffe, it's a toy. But as you can see in the picture you can see the fingers on the fondant. And also she arrived late, she apologized and assure me is something that never happens to her, it didn't bother me really but it was part of my experience which I'm writing here. Tina is an absolute artist! I called her a week before my husbands birthday to ask if she could make a wine shaped cake for his 30th. I had some last minute planning to do for my son's 7yr birthday party which was Rubik cube themed and its not easy to find things with that type of pattern. She made cookies, cake pops and cupcakes with different styles of Rubik cubes and it turned out great. We sent Tina a photo of a Day of the Dead cake we'd seen on another bakery's site (one that was too far away for us) and not only did she recreate what we loved about the cake we'd seen - she went above and beyond and made it BETTER - adding beautiful roses, stuck on with gumdrops, and more detailed artwork on the face. I found Tina on Yelp and am I glad I did. On fairly short notice she made me the BEST dairy free Princess Cake exactly to order! The sponge cake is perfect, lots of raspberry jam and a big thick sheet of marzipan coating it. The day before my sons birthday.... the day before Valentines Day, requesting just about any type of flavored cake, but with a specific quote, "Everyone loves you when you're twenty-four".
