I recommend this quiet, unassuming place in the heart of downtown Eagle. Although in the past I haven't been overly keen on their crisp gluten free sugar cookies... I tried again this mo (Dec 2022) & I was very impressed w/the couple design options they had for gluten free. The sugar cookies themselves this time where a nice soft yet stable texture, & the glazing had a lovely flavor. The always-available gluten free chocolate chip cookie was also nice, as it had rich quality tasting (mid sized) chocolate chunks within that cookie. What a Darling Place.. The proprietor is very friendly and has beautifully decorated sugar cookies. I just tried the Lemon Zest Sugar Cookie, Loved it!! I enjoying popping by my clients with a little bag of cookies. Now I think I have spoiled them and they hope I have them every time I visit! They also have a verity of other cookie flavors, Cranberry Oatmeal, White Chocolate Chip and many more. They also carry lovely Chocolates made locally.. 1. These are beautiful cookies. Beautiful! If I needed something decorative, these are the cookies I would order. 2. For flavor, the sugar cookie is good. It isn't spectacular, but it's tasty enough. It doesn't suffer from over-dryness like some others in town I have been frustrated with, and is not intensely cakey, which is a plus in my book. But again: beautiful. If you're looking for gorgeous sugar cookies, this is the place. 3. We also purchased a chocolate chip cookie and a toffee cookie. The texture of each was pretty good, but both were essentially on par with what comes out of my oven. Am I willing to pay a couple of dollars for that cookie again? Probably not, when I can make it at home. But it tasted good. All that said, the shop is absolutely darling, and the service prompt and friendly. I'm thrilled to see both on State Street. I love supporting local small business and who doesn't love cookies? The shop is modest, clean and simple. All the cookies were pre-packaged and visually appealing. I tried the chocolate chip cookie and a potato chip cookie. They were both unfortunately underwhelming. $2.25 each and the decorated sugar cookies were small and $3.50 each. I didn't even finish the chocolate chip cookie which is a first. It lacked flavor, freshness and felt more processed than homemade. I wanted to be excited....but unfortunately won't be back. I agree with several other reviews that if you're looking for the visual effect, they are amazing. But for flavor, they just fall short read more

Can you imagine if they made some killer chunky chocolate chip cookies and a variety of other interesting twists?! There's no limit to what you can find on Instagram for inspiration. I came in with my daughter as a treat. The woman at the counter was SO nice and friendly. My daughter picked out one of their adorable snowman designs which she was so in love with. I had a sprinkle cookie that was delicious. I'm sure the beautiful ones aren't as tasty as the classics but they sure are amazing pieces of edible art. I absolutely loved the birthday cookies I ordered from here. The ordering process was very easy, you submit a request and recieve a reply within two to three business days. I have OCD and plan everything months in advance so I couldn't tell you how much of a notice they would need. I wanted a hocus pocus/fallish theme. I was pretty vague about what I wanted being it was my first time ordering cookies but they delivered above and beyond my expectations. The price was very reasonable too from other places I researched. I paid $70 for 2 dozen cookies. I went in and picked them up and the bakery was clean and cozy. They were even generous enough to give me the extra 6 cookies they made from the batch which I was super greatful for! I can't wait to order again! read more

What a cute cookie shop! I have never done a special order, but I did have a special cookie required occasion that popped up unexpectedly. I was able to stop in during business hours and choose from several individually wrapped cookies that were available for purchase without needing to order ahead. The cookies were delicious and truly beautiful. I was there around Halloween and so was able to choose "boy" and "girl" spooky skull cookies but tastefully done. The kids loved them, and frankly us moms did too :). Cute spot in downtown Eagle. Very friendly staff. Street parking only, fyi, but at least when I was there around 2pm on a weekday I had no issue getting a spot. read more

Well when it came to our wedding I looked no further than One Haut Cookie to make custom cookies for our wedding announcements. Breaking news: They did an amazing job. We recently used them for my daughters 8th birthday. ..all of the kids loved the party! It was well organized and flawless. The kids decorated an apron, pizza, cookie, a cupcake.
