Happy Hour runs twice daily with reduced prices on food & beverages from 3-5p and 9-10p. They have an extensive sake menu categorized by flavor profile designed for pairings, along with a lean but modern wine list including detailed tasting notes. Japanese whisky and exotic green tea (try the kuki cha!) round out a full beverage program, and deep booths offer private views of the lush valley below. Chef Kiko Rodriguez offers a four-course tasting menu at an exceptional value for $65 - trying this or any of Paloma's suggestions from their fresh sushi menu (only restaurant in New Mexico with fish flown in from Japan daily) will surely please. Gloriously chilled tuna sashimi was thinly sliced cut with heat from fresh wasabi and a savory ginger shoyu. Hand rolls are served in pairs, and the spicy tuna was simple, elegant, and delightful - a perfect showcase of the freshest fish. Before switching to dessert, shaved ginger is also snappy and cleansing. I was absolutely mind blown by the Sakura Pannacotta - delicate and dreamy custard textured like chawanmushi with soft aromatic cherry blossom and the most delectable shortbread accent. Three light courses that were fully nourishing, absolutely satisfying, and delightfully delicious!

The flavors, textures, and freshness were consistently impressive. I would definitely return to Izanami for another culinary and sake-focused evening. Japanese Stone with steak**: A remarkable pairing; the texture and depth of flavor were exceptional. American steak with**: Rich, well-balanced, and cooked to perfection. Japanese beef**: So good, it felt like a standout in the entire meal. Sashimi plate**: Fresh, delicate, and elevated with the right sake accompaniment.

The wine selection was good and the complimentary glass of Gruet was a nice way to start the meal. Between us we thoroughly enjoyed the tuna sashimi/tartare, the wasabi caesar, the white prawns, miso bass, tenderloin and the lobster - everything was perfectly prepared. Highly recommended!

Set inside a beautifully restored historic adobe home, the atmosphere is both elegant and warmly inviting--perfect for a memorable evening out. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. Our waitress, Cari, delivered truly superb service--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm. She made thoughtful recommendations and ensured every detail of our dining experience felt seamless and special. The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was artfully presented and layered with rich, well-balanced flavors. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and crafting a menu that feels both creative and refined. We each enjoyed our own Oven-Roasted Pork Belly appetizer - aaahmazing! Very generous portion of lobster with the Grilled Maine Lobster dish and the Oven-Roasted Beef Short Rib was cooked to absolute perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant with Cari and all the staff for your next evening out.

The food was delicious, but I decided on Coyote Cafe because of the dessert menu, and the burnt honey cake absolutely lived up to and surpassed my expectations! You can really taste banana leaf, the shaved halva adds a lovely sweetness, and it just melted in my mouth. The service was impeccable. They called me by name the entire time and even though I look quite young for my age, they treated me with respect. Their timing throughout the meal was perfect too, very attentive, but not stiflingly so. I exceedingly enjoyed my meal here, and I'll definitely be back to enjoy all the other dishes I want to try here.

Arrived in Santa Fe on Sunday and headed To this area of…read moretown to check out the area- heard great things about the coyote Café and it's rooftop bar. The vibe was eclectic, the view was nothing special, but we were definitely in a happening spot. We did not sample any food during our visit, but we did sample a margarita and a cold beer. Service was poor. It took a long time to place our drink order and an even longer time to get the Alice margarita and a bottled beer do not know what the hangup was but 10 to 15 minutes to get those drinks seems a little bit excessive. The margarita was nothing special, although you don't expect anything special from a house margarita, most of the time... They had a margarita filled with special and unique margaritas that looked interesting to say the least - overall it's on the list of places you must see... But I don't know why it has made the list. I was just disappointed.
