Had to reschedule our official measurements and she took care of that for us no problem. Followed up to make sure I had all the information I needed. Best thing was when we first went in is that she made sure we knew exactly what to look for in flooring even if we decided to go with another company. Was told that it may be three weeks for install but we got a call for scheduling the next day and a week and half later later the install was done. Installers were very good and courteous. Other than the white dust (this is to be expected if you are removing tile) from tile demolition everything was very clean upon their departure. The only thing that stunk (and I knew this when I signed the contract) is that they will yank your toilets out but not reinstall them. Thankfully my installer knew how to do this and was nice enough to show me what needed to be done and what to buy to do the job. They also put the toilets close to where I needed them so I didn't have to carry them through the house. Toilets are heavy so have someone help lift it into place. Ultimately re-installing the toilets cost me about $8 for two new wax rings at Home Depot.

When we gave him a call he was very professional and passionate about what he had to offer. The service was great, the work is top quality, and the product selection was enormous! The first step was to have the house quoted for the floors, bathroom, and kitchen installed. We were under the impression that someone other than John was to come out and measure and give us a price quote but instead it was John himself, he was on time and very informative about our options of what we could do to our home. After everything was planned out, the construction on our house only took up 5 days and a day to double check everything! I would like to give a special thanks to, Romeo, Juan, Jerry and their whole crew; everyone was very polite and very respectful of all my personal items. Keeping constant conversation helped me understand how everything was installed and placed. They even spot cleaned and placed all my items back to their original spot! The only hiccup I had was that one of my outlets does not work in my kitchen, other than that, the work they performed was extremely professional. I would like to give a BIG thanks to Lonestar Floors for working with me and my budget and keeping continuous communication with me after each of section of updates was completed. Most companies for such a small job would not put much effort into finding a matching floor. Scott found a great match, but when he went to order it, it had been discontinued. Not giving up, Scott sent photos of our existing floor to his vendors and asked them to bring in samples that might match. When he got them in, we went to their showroom in Conroe (which is beautiful - they have tile, wood, etc) to see what they recommended. We liked it; they ordered it, and the following week they installed it. We have had wood flooring installed in other homes, and usually an installer will just yank up the old flooring & staple down the new. The crew that this company sent came and took up the old carpet, actually re-leveled the floor with a concrete slurry & a big level, put down a plastic moisture layer, then the wood. It could not be a more perfect match!! This company was quick, professional, and very precise!...they even matched the grain of the wood to the pieces of wood from the hall. From start to finish this company and Scott in particular were awesome to work with. Deserving of their name, they are simply Excellent! I would highly recommend them for any kind of flooring work.

I've had them install granite countertops in two rooms over the years--kitchen and the master…read morebathroom. Originally the kitchen was not measured correctly and the granite didn't fit. They made it right though and redid the portions that needed adjusted and reinstalled. As far as the master bathroom granite, they suggested I use a remnant to save money. I got a deal I am happy with. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I had to make myself available to be home more than necessary. They have done a good job and I will continue to use them if I decide to put granite in other bathrooms.

After contacting several contractors in the Woodlands area, we selected Primo Outdoor Living to…read morebuild a new construction covered patio. Primo was quick to respond to our initial request and provided a detailed and professional construction plan along with a 3-dimensional model of what the finished project would look like. Kevin and his team were able to quickly answer any questions that we had and provided a quotation within 2 days. Primo handled all the inspections and permits required for the Woodlands Association approval. Primo built a new 500 sqft gabled patio with a 7' wide wood burning (gas light assist) fireplace along with sitting benches on each side. The fireplace, benches and supporting posts are finished in natural stone veneer with a "dry stack" installation. The floor was constructed with Belgard Origins pavers in a Crab Orchard color. The ceiling was finished with a cedar tongue and groove finish along with a pony wall and cedar collar ties. To finish the project, Primo also installed new cedar fencing in the back yard. We are 100% completely satisfied with the workmanship and responsiveness of Primo Outdoor Living. They finished the project on time and were completely transparent with all aspects of the construction. In our opinion, Primo has an outstanding team that completed the project as agreed on. Kevin (owner) was at our site every morning to answer our questions and oversee the construction progress. The Primo construction crew were dependable and arrived early every morning. They did not require any micromanagement whatsoever. David, Juan, Jaime, Chealbi and the rest of the Primo staff are outstanding, easy to work with and can be counted on to do the right thing. We will definitely be using Primo on future outdoor projects.

I hired Color Interiors (CI) to install Karndean Art Select LVP throughout house I bought this…read moresummer. Karndean's Art Select is an excellent product that looks like real wood, but improper installation can result in warping, plank separation, waves and bulging, making it look cheap. Original quotes I got for engineered hardwood and for LVP were both right at $17,000, so price wasn't a factor. When I was trying to decide between engineered hardwood and Karndean's Art Select LVP, I explicitly told the salesman that my main concern about LVP was that the installation wouldn't be done correctly. CI salesman repeatedly assured me that he would stay on top of the job to make sure it was installed according to manufacturer's instructions, but once he got my deposit, ~$4,200 of which was non-refundable, he didn't follow through on anything. I had to remind him 1/2 a dozen times about needing to order shoe molding and he didn't check in with the installers once to make sure they were following the manufacturer's installation instructions. Most importantly, they didn't perform a moisture test on the concrete subfloor, or use a 100 lb roller while the planks were being laid down to make sure the adhesive was spread evenly under the LVP. According to Karndean, failure to do these things voids the warranty. In addition to the shoddy installation, the installers were so careless and sloppy that they got greasy handprints all over the walls I had just paid $4,900 to have painted a week earlier. And not only did I have to clean their greasy handprints off of the walls, I also spent 8 hours on my knees washing glue and other messes off of the LVP after they "finished" the installation. When I walk into the foyer of my new house, my eyes are immediately drawn to two areas where the flooring is wavy/bulging and I cannot express how angry I get when I think about this. To remedy the situation, that floor is going to need to be ripped out and a new floor will have to be installed. That would have been bad enough before I moved in, but now that I have furniture in the house, I honestly don't even want to think about what an enormous pain this is going to be. Not to mention the fact that I will also need to have the baseboards repainted, which I had painted a couple of days after the floor was installed (cost was ~$2,300). To add insult to injury, Color Interiors invoiced me an additional $1,800 for floor prep. The purpose of the floor prep was to make sure that any imperfections in the concrete subfloor were covered over and to make the surface completely level. Honestly, if they had installed the flooring correctly and it didn't have waves and bulges in it, paying extra to make sure everything was done right wouldn't bother me. The fact that they had the gall to invoice me $1,800 more than they quoted after doing such shoddy work, however, is infuriating.

They gave me a 2 hour window for arrival and were a bit late but went right to work and diagnosed and fixed the problem. We have an old gas fireplace and to start it the front screen and a trim piece have to be removed. They offered to install a remote starter which they did. Now I can light it without removing the screen and it works like a charm. I'm sorry I don't recall their names but the two guys were very professional and friendly and I highly recommend this company if you need work done on your fireplace.
