Ordered my quartz and it cracked all the way through within a month. 2 months have gone by of multiple texts telling me they would set something up the following week/ the following day and nobody ever calls. I have to say, over the last few years customer service has been less than stellar for more industries than I can count. Fortunately, when we decided to install granite countertops, we picked the right company. We bought our granite from Simmons Custom Granite off of hwy 105 (Davis) almost a year and 8 months ago. The granite cracked in one section due to who knows what! No foundation issues, or noticeable reasons why it happened. We were devastated to say the least. We contacted our salesman Cody and let him know what happened. Low and behold, our 1 year warranty had expired. Cody said let's take a look at it and see what we can do and guess what, they made it right and replaced all of the counter tops. They could have said, sorry the warranty is up or it's not our problem but they did right by the customer and stood by there quality and service. The inventory was so big it took me a couple of weeks to pick out what I wanted. Gary was very patient and helpful despite my at least 15 visits to Simmons. Installation went perfectly. I used them for a little kitchen remodel I took out some cabinets and added a island/pony wall. All I needed was some granite,backsplash,and a little section of flooring done. The granite came out great but the 1 star is for the backsplash and wood flooring and just solely based on the installation of those two items. They didn't match the correct color of my existing grout so the new section is quite a bit darker and even worse the existing grout was with sand and the grout they installed was with out sand. It's extremely obvious that the two grouts are not the same and don't match. They missed some spots all together and to top it off they couldn't even clean up the awful job they did and left grout smeared all over everything. The flooring looked good but after staring at the backsplash for a few minutes i was skeptical cause it was apparent that they were obviously cutting corners. I decided to tear up the little section of floor just to check there work (it was only laminate). Luckily I did this cause they never put any padding down and had it on straight concrete. Such a nice shop and the people seem nice and very helpful just wish they had used some first string installers. read more

Blayne (our salesman) was very rude regarding our invoice. I will never recommend this company ever again. He proceeded to chew me out for our company (where I work) not paying the invoice that we never received (because he had the wrong email address). He needs training in customer service. You do not say, " well, you got your granite, didn't you? When I owe someone money, I pay them". That is not appropriate behavior when you are in the business of customer service. We are not to blame because he could not pick up the phone and call us about our correct email address and to inform us the bill was not paid. We were working with Cody, and he seemed to be a nice and helpful customer rep. We were looking at kitchen countertops and vinyl plank flooring. He came to our home to measure, and he said he would have a quote to us in a couple of days. A week went by without receiving or hearing anything from him. My husband called him to see what the holdup was, and Cody told him that they were not going to do our job because he decided our concrete floors were not good enough! His job was to get an estimate to us, not to make a personal judgment call, and he was unapologetic for not calling us! read more
