Jairo Yairo, Nehemias Rivera, and Charley gave me a very reasonable estimate on the work required and then went to town on the job. They purchased the Vinyl flooring that I had selected at Lowes and went right to work on the project. I watched as they meticulously pieced every plank together and made sure it was perfectly fitted to the planks surrounding it. They replaced the trim and did a fantastic job of painting it. I…read moredon't often take the time to leave negative reviews however my experience with Floors for Living is one worth sharing to caution future customers to take your home project elsewhere. Immediately. I purchased 16 stair treads with install/labor back in May 2026 totalling $3,400. My experience during the purchase was great - or so I thought. The team seemed knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Floors for Living is none of these things and I was completely bamboozled. What I received on that day was a misrepresentation of F4L ability to complete the project I paid for and scope of work. As of today - almost 5 months later, I'm left with an unfinished staircase and material completely mismatched from my homes current floorings. After being passed from an instore team member to the Store Manager Tim where I was assured time after time there would be resolution, all they were able to provide is the run around and solutions that meant cutting corners and a low quality of work when I paid for quality price tag. Separate from F4L misrepresentation of scope of work and transparency is their materials used. I purchased 16 stair treads the same color, material and manufacture (Mohawk Sand Dune RevWood Select) as the rest of my homes flooring. What they installed to date is a stark contrast in color as well as material - mismatched from the rest of my home, unable to provide any proof that this is truly Mohawk Material. After the installer and store manager himself have acknowledged this very clear and very obvious variance in color, assuring me it would be fixed and made right, only to come back 5mos later and say nothing can be done, what F4L is - is a scam. I won't even begin on the lack of professionalism from the installers. An unfinished staircase 5 months later, more calls and re arranging my schedule than I can count and now awaiting a dispute with my bank - potentially having to pursue this legally. Similar to what another reviewer said, save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere. This place is shady business.
