This took me by surprise, as the entire exchange had lasted less than two minutes, and I had been polite. Not wanting to escalate the situation, I simply left. It was a bizarre encounter, and I hope she approaches future interactions with more positive intent. I would have happily rescheduled or even paid a late fee if that was the policy.
