Full job done in just 5 hours, same day turnaround is no joke. Easily worth the 3 hour drive, especially for the price. I bought the car stock 3 years ago at 110k miles from a close friend, who got it from the original owner. He mentioned the original owner claims that the rod bearings had already been done, but there were no receipts to prove it. Decided to get it done for peace of mind down the road (better late than never). Now at 131k miles, Robert and the team said they hadn't really seen wear like mine. The bearings had unusual divots in multiple areas, not your typical wear pattern. Thankfully, I got ahead of it and there was no damage to the crankshaft. Sharing my experience for awareness. I paid Studio RSR in February 2025 for automotive parts and installation services (including a crank hub and suspension work). The appointment was rescheduled by Studio RSR due to technician availability, and the work was never started or completed. This was especially difficult because I live approximately nine hours away and incurred out-of-pocket costs after having to cancel a hotel reservation due to the rescheduling. No parts were delivered or installed, and the timeline eventually extended close to a year from the original payment date. I made several documented attempts to obtain updates and request a refund. The only resolution offered was store credit rather than a refund for services that were never rendered. I initially agreed to the store credit and provided a list of replacement parts, but subsequent attempts to follow up on those items resulted in limited to no correspondence. I remained patient throughout the process, but the lack of fulfillment and communication has been disappointing. I am currently working with StudioRSR and my credit card issuer to resolve the matter, with no success. read more

Update since my last post. After my review was initially written ad posted, Robert the owner called me to talk to me about the post. To me, he gave this apology that didn't seem genuine because of the bad review. He offered to give me my money back and gave the excuse that they don't have the funds basically to give it at the time and even offered a free oil change. He asked me to take my post down, and I told him I would consider taking it down after my refund was given back to me. In June 2025, I placed a 50% deposit with StudioRSR for a custom roll cage for my 2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. I was clearly told the estimated timeline would be 2-3 months from start to completion. That timeline has long come and gone. It has now been 10 months. After taking my deposit, communication became sparse, inconsistent, and vague. Weeks would pass without responses. When I did receive a reply, it was always the same pattern: "We'll check on it," "We'll follow up," or "There were delays." The promised follow-ups almost never happened. There was always another excuse. As months passed--6, then 7, then 8--I grew increasingly concerned. I remained patient and professional, but at some point it became clear that the original timeline meant nothing. I began to feel strung along. MASSIVE scam, be aware and careful! These guys will hound you to receive a "Zelle" deposit (they do not take credit card since you can actually dispute those payments). Then if you decide to cancel and even if you are OK with the cancellation fees, they do not exist. If they do respond, it's a continuous go around and nothing happens. We will be seeking legal judgement, do yourself a favor, take your BMWs somewhere else. Atlanta resident here that got my crank hub done as part of a special Studio RSR did for us East Coasters. The initial communication about the project began in 2024 and the work was completed last weekend. Drove down to the Orlando area from Atlanta to get my crank hub done along with some plugs and coils. Over all the experience was very good. Dillion and James were really nice and very knowledgeable. James took care of the crank hub install and it went smoothly. Along with the crank hub, they replaced the following - main seal, valve cover gasket, cam gear bolts, crank bolt and the vacuum pump cover. They got me in and out quickly and the car is running well. The only thing I will say that needs improvement is communication. Communication leading up to the install was lacking which did cause some stress. I do understand that a lot was being done to get ready for the project but being more diligent in updating customers would go a long way. Brought my 2012 e93 M3 for rod bearing service and by far the communication between studiorsr is superb. Drove all the way from San Diego(coronado) Ca to get my m3 serviced by them. Quality work along with some issues that were brought up to my attention i didn't even know about. Gio,Eric, and Robert were a huge help especially for what's recommended, for ex. My experience with Studio RSR was exactly like the many other negative reviews here, so I won't make my review long. In November 2025 I paid Studio RSR $9,141.45 for a full Adro A90 body kit installation on my Toyota Supra. After the deposit, communication became almost impossible. It took repeated calls, texts, and emails just to get any response. When they finally replied, it was the same pattern of excuses seen in other reviews: parts back-ordered, paint not to standard, sent to another shop, etc. Nothing was being done so I immediately requested a refund. After multiple follow-ups and a clear written deadline, I was piece-meal refunds, and trust me, getting that was a nightmare as well. I have done some investigating; it turns out that Studio RSR is currently defending at least couple of active fraud lawsuits in Orange County Superior Court. The pattern described in those cases is identical to what I experienced. Also, if you read other reviews, there are customers who took them to small claims. If you value your time and your money, stay far away from this shop. They will take your deposit, string you along with excuses, and only act when you threaten legal action. I finally had to take my Adro parts to another shop (Kings Autobody) where the work was completed properly in one week. 1 star -- only because zero isn't an option. read more

Brought it back and they blamed something else and wanted to charge me $2k to investigate to see if it was their repair that failed... Took it to bmw it was in fact the new rod bearings. My previous review was removed for some reason. I ordered Adro V1 bumper for my G80 back in September of 2025. I was notified that the bumper wont be available until early December and I was promised to get everything done by the end of December of 2025. December comes around, I tried to reach out for some updates, they are impossible to get a hold of. I had to leave multiple messages and tried calling but no on answered. I finally got an update saying that the bumper is not ready and has been delayed. I waited a month then they started the painting process. I spoke to Robert the owner of the shop for some special requests like the lip and the vents to be painted black. Another month rolls by, still have not gotten any updates. When I finally got the update saying that the bumper was done with the paint and was sent to the PPF installer. The shop who painted the bumper promised that the paint will be good to install PPF on the bumper. When PPF guy peeled off the ppf, paint came off and the bumper had to get repainted. Another week goes by, it got painted and delivered to the PPF guy AGAIN. They installed WRONG PPF on the bumper and had to REDO the ppf AGAIN for the 3rd time. ANOTHER WEEK goes by, everything gets done and was schedule to get it installed on March 14th 2026. I show up to the shop, checked out the bumper, none of the vents were painted and they were left as raw plastic. There was an overspray of the paint on the lower side of the bumper and you can clearly see the paint drip mars yet the ppf guy installed PPF over the paint drip. PPF guy didn't even cut out the film where the sensor goes and left the film intact. As a business owner who provides goods and services, you would figure that they will do a better job on quality control but no, there is no quality control whatsoever with this company. This process has taken me total of 7 months for a simple bumper job. I have been patient with the company and Robert but I couldn't take it anymore after I saw the condition of the bumper that was in. I have requested a refund and Robert PERSONALLY typed up and signed a refund contract stating he will pay me back by March 25th and still has not issued the refund yet. I recommend everyone to stay away from this shop, DO NOT DO any business with this place AT ALL. This place will sweet talk the hell out of you to pay for their goods and services, once you pay they will ghost you and leave you hanging. Once they take your money, they will do everything they can do avoid you by giving you BS excuses. UPDATE: Robert Robles (owner), AGAIN, missed another deadline for the refund, I gave him extra 24 hours since the first deadline (25th of March 3:00PM as he promised my refund). He has texted me saying that my review will make it harder for me to get my refund back (correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like a threat to me and holding my refund a hostage). If you value your car I would recommend staying away from this company. They not only botched my cage install but keep telling me they will make it right and have yet to do so. Almost 6 months in and have yet to receive what I was promised. Excuse after excuse with owner Robert. My cage was late so Robert said he would add a quick release system for being so patient. That was a lie. They broke trim panels in my car and when they attempted to replace them, they cut my seat. Offered a discount on an exhaust rather than fixing the damage. They broke the new trim panel they replaced. Brand new cage scratched up and barely bolted to the car. Their website advertising is inaccurate, if you want a cage that is only held in by a few bolts then they are perfect for you. Front seat was also left loose. I recently picked up a 2010 BMW M3 (E93) DCT with 86k miles on the clock and wanted to get the rob bearings done as a preventative measure. I reached out to Dillon at Studio RSR as I recalled seeing their specials around BMW crank hubs and asked about doing my rod bearings. Dillon let me know that they try and schedule jobs here in Florida once a month or so and he had an opening to get me in within the two weeks of calling. Their pricing is unbeatable and I was confident the work would be done correctly after reading various reviews from others who had the same or similar work done recently. The service included new VAC rod bearings, ARP bolts, and oil change. In addition, I bought new motor mounts and they were able to get those installed they the car was in for this service. I arrived at their Florida location which is about 1:30 hours from me, where I met one of their mechanics, James, who was wrenching on 1 of many scheduled F8X's he scheduled to do new crank hubs on. I got to talk shop with James for a few minutes about my E93 M3 before the owner Robert showed up. It was nice to also chat with Robert for a decent amount of time about their business and his potential plans for expanding in Florida before my ride showed up. All in all, the full service was done within a few hours of dropping off versus having to come pick it up 2-3 day later, which seems to be pretty standard with other shops here in Florida. All in all, so far I'm super happy with the price, service, and communication from Dillion and Studio RSR. I was given my original rod bearings which showed a decent amount of wear but with no cooper showing, which was good to see. If Studio RSR is able to stay this competitive price and service wise, they should continue to do very well in Florida and I would consider using them again for any future product or services that I may need again in the future. read more

Always wanted to go faster in my f82 but always scared to spin the crank hub and didn't want to drop 3-4k on a upgrade. Heard from alot of people that studio rsr has the best technicians and the best prices for crankhubs. Hit them up on instagram to find out they had a special deal for a 4 pin crankhub 1750$ out the door and 50% of labor on any other mods. Ended up doing downpipes and charge pipes as well and got my valve cover replaced all at once. These guys did an amazing job took them around 4 hours to finish everything! I ended up making the decision to take it to Studio and let them do what they're good at, which is the F8x platform.
