I naturally have dark brown hair, and I came in with an inspiration picture asking for an autumn copper-brown reddish color. They were very confident that they could make the color I wanted happen, which made me feel comfortable moving forward with the service. After the first round, she was already getting ready to send me home, but I told her I was not happy with the results because my hair barely looked different from when I came in. It stayed mostly the same dark brown, except for some patchy plum-colored areas. I paid $120 for that first service. After I explained that I was unhappy, she recommended bleaching my hair to get me closer to the lighter copper-brown reddish color I originally asked for. What bothered me was that before starting the bleach, she never told me she would also be doing another client's hair color at the same time. While the bleach was sitting in my hair, there was one point where she was away for about 40 minutes. I was so nervous about the bleach sitting in my hair that I actually started a timer myself because I did not want anything to happen to my hair. She was also leaving at other times in between for around 20 to 30 minutes while working on the other client. I really wish my hair had been monitored more closely throughout the bleaching process, especially because of how light it ended up becoming. Instead of the autumn copper-brown reddish color from my inspiration picture, I ended up with orange and blonde hair. I paid another $230 for the second service, bringing my total to $350. I am extremely disappointed that I spent $350, went through two rounds of color and bleaching on previously virgin hair, and still did not receive anything close to what I originally asked for. If you have naturally dark virgin hair and are looking to go lighter, based on my experience, I would definitely not recommend this place.

I didn't like what my hair looked like. I told her in between I wanted it to be different and she kept insisted that since she already put product in it that's she can't do anything. So I was like it looks like I had a shower and just towel dried it. I asked for her to at least wash my hair and blow dry it again so I could see what the cut would look like. I kept requesting. Saying that I need to feel good when I leave here but all she said was I can't because i have customers waiting. And then she got so frustrated and was like ok if you're so unhappy just leave. And so I did. I felt so terrible. I finally just got my hair back after having massive hair loss after being sick and for her to disrespect me and my hair that way just felt so bad. I have been seeing Marlo for over 5 years after a long search trying to find somewhere I could get a fun, funky cut for my sometimes difficult, extremely straight hair. I have found the place! Marlo is very attentive and we always discuss any new ideas I have before the hair cut. I can also not say enough great things about her coloring. I started going grey in my mid-thirties and her blond highlights are perfection. Go see Jordan!! I found her about three years ago when a previous hair dresser had killed (and I do mean killed: fried, chopped, etc.) my hair. Within 6 months of seeing Jordan it was healthier than it has ever been! I have even gotten my husband to switch from SuperCuts to her and he vows to never go back. I love this salon. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel like you're in a spa. So inviting and relaxing! The parking is convenient and easy. Easy to get to. The only thing that I found a little uncomfortable were the shampoo bowls/chairs. The chairs seemed to be too low for the bowls. My neck and back were killing me after sitting there for a short amount of time. Also, my legs just dangled off the end of the chair; just too small overall. read more

This experience was genuinely heartbreaking for me…read more My fiancé surprised me with a haircut at The Salon by Robert Lupo because I'd been having a really rough week. We had planned a nice date afterward, and this was supposed to make me feel good. Instead, I left crying. Melissa had apparently double-booked appointments. After washing my hair, she left me sitting there with a towel on my head while she worked on another client. Throughout the haircut, she repeatedly put her hands against my face, smudging and ruining the makeup I'd spent time putting on for our evening out. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary, and by the end of the appointment my makeup was a mess. Then I saw my haircut. I specifically asked for face-framing layers and bangs. What I walked out with looked absolutely nothing like what I requested. The cut is choppy, awkward, and honestly makes me look like Joe Dirt. I was so devastated that I couldn't get out of the salon fast enough. I cried the entire ride home. My fiancé and I ended up canceling our night out because I was so embarrassed. I can't even bring myself to post photos of the haircut because that's how humiliating it is. To make matters worse, I was encouraged to purchase a hair product to "keep my hair shiny." Before buying it, I noticed the bottle appeared to be cracked. When I pointed it out and said I didn't want it, both Melissa and the owner insisted it was just the label and that the bottle wasn't actually cracked. When my fiancé picked me up, he examined it, ran his fingernail over it, and confirmed it was in fact cracked all the way around. What was supposed to be a relaxing, confidence-boosting experience after a difficult week left me feeling worse than when I walked in. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this salon.

They are very customer focused and will help you with your hair needs!

I loved that when you booked you were asked questions about your hair type, health and what you were looking to do. When I came in I was warmly welcomed be everyone. Raquel was asking me more questions and referred back to others I had already answered. She was SOOO thorough asking about length, styling, and even telling me about if she cut the layers and how it would look in a ponytail. I immediately felt at ease and the process from there was so relaxing. She washed my hair ensuring the water temperature was comfortable and so was I, no awkward sitting. Then when she started cutting she showed me exactly how much she'd be taking off and continuously talked with me about what she was doing. We had a great conversation and she is such a sweet woman. If you can't tell from the pictures I walked out feeling like a million bucks. When I walked through the door my husband literally said, " WOW baby look at you, your hair looks great!" He kept reiterating how much he loved it saying she did a great job.
