A short a sweet review since I have not taken a class, but have been there a few times and hanging out with one of the instructors. They are super friendly and every Friday night they have some sorta party and dance class or show. One day I will take a class, but I was mostly updating this mall and connecting all the shops to the mall. It is surprising that at some of the lesser known malls, many stores are not attached to the mall or even listed properly. I also try to keep Google maps updated. This is a review for studio rental. We rented the studio for my mom's 70th birthday. I was originally worried about the size of the studio. But ultimately we were able to fit: 80 guests (7 rounds x 10 chairs - us kids running the party didn't sit), casino rental tables (Ace of Spades casino rentals - 2 black jack, 1 craps, 1 roulette, 1 Texas hold'em), a DJ with karaoke setup (Tom - see my other reviews - who was able to use the existing sound system), a small bar (the studio has a mini drink station they let us borrow) and a full buffet. The buffet fit perfectly in the back storage rooms. There are separate men's and women's bathrooms with 3 stalls in the ladies room so there was never a line. The studio included the tables and chairs in our rental fee and also provided table cloths - we only had to cover the costs for the cloths to be cleaned after. They also have chair covers you can rent. Marcin responded quickly to my MANY questions on yelp and Rebecca met us several times at the studio on various days and times as we had to go there several times to look at, measure and plan the space. If you do rent this space for a private party I would highly advise you to clarify all the pricing before you sign the contract and try to get it in writing. There was a bit of back and forth on the pricing. In the end, everything was cleared up and they were genuinely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to have a special night for my mom - including thoughtfully leaving extra paper towel and toilet paper for us. They let us use the refrigerator (!!!) and walked us through lighting options. The studio was big enough to accommodate our guests and entertainment but not so big that everything was too spread out. It was really perfect. I highly recommend this space for parties. There is plenty of parking and an existing sound system. The space itself has decor that goes well with a variety of decorations. They have tables and chairs available as well as table cloths and chair covers so you don't need to get to an extra vendor. There were fans and air conditioning. It was really a great space. Marcin and Rebecca also seem to do a lot of events there so they are really helpful in explaining different options for setup. The dance floor space is about 50 ft x 30 ft. read more

Found this business on Yelp. So we needed to learn a dance routine fast for our first dance as a married couple for our wedding. They were so accommodating and professional since we had zero dance experience. They were so flexible about our schedule too as we had to cancel a couple of classes since we got so busy with the wedding planning. Came here, because my bff wanted me to check out this place for a baby Very reasonable cost for a venue and can hold up to 120 people. The chairs they let you borrow are red so I would recommend chair covers, but if your theme is red! You win! Secret little spot for a family event or baby! Nice front desk too. read more

I've been going to Studio M since the very beginning. Oh heck, I've been one of the owner's students for the last 10 years now. Studio M is in a pretty new center in Chino Hills close to the Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Marcin and Rebecca keep the studio nice and clean, and it's a good space to rent for parties. I've danced in a few studios before and theirs is really quite spacious, much larger than the others I've been in. Owners Marcin and Rebecca are also some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Marcin has a certain charisma to him and you can tell he loves being a teacher and being the life of the party. Rebecca, I've been dancing with her in ballet and Chinese dance for the last 10 years now and you will not meet a nicer, more patient dance teacher than her. If you honestly believe that all dance teachers are like Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms, she will surprise you. She gives you corrections in a nice, constructive way and will tell you what you should do to improve. But don't let that sweet pretty face fool you though. She has still has standards and will try her hardest to coax the best out of you. Honestly, the best dance teacher I've ever had. read more

Had an event here about a week ago. This place is nice and they rent out the place for reasonable fees, didn't have issues at all through from Beginning to end. The owners Mr and Mrs Mocarsi answered all questions and concerns that we had even the day of the event. Will definitely plan use Studio M for another event soon. read more

We held a Dance Camp with singles and couples on March 3 taught by international dance instructor and owner, Marcin Mocarski at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Chino with 51 people learning 6 dance lessons. Marcin is a professional in teaching dance and easy easy to learn and makes it fun at the same time. Plus, is a beautiful ballroom where we hosted a dance later in the evening. I highly recommend taking dance lessons here and renting the ballroom for your next event or wedding. We've been coming here for years now. Best ever! read more

I went to their Friday dance lessons/ party. It was amazing. The owners are so friendly and helpful! It's only $10, a great way to spend a Friday night! The teachers are great and really helpful! My first time attending this studio on their 1 year anniversary, and I had a really good first time experience.I have no prior experience with ballroom dance so I'd thought I'd give it a try. I have been coming to Studio M since it first opened. They have a very nice dance floor with a spacious area including one of the sides as a FULL length mirror. For a dancer with expectations and standards, coming to this studio matched exactly what I was looking for. Professional, talent, and flexibility. I have to say this is the best dance studio I have ever attended to in Southern California. Talking about the classes, Studio M has ballet, traditional Chinese dance, Zumba, yoga and different types of ballroom dances. The owners of the studio are both the instructors for their studio. Marcin is the world champion of ballroom dances and Rebecca is the principle dancer of the country. Rebecca has an eye for talent and instructs all skill levels. You will never get bored or left out in Rebecca's classes. Dancing is another language by using your body to express your emotions. I went to check out this studio for the first time. Upon arrival I was given an introductory offer for a private lesson and one group class . I asked how long the private lesson was for and was told for 45 minutes. I decided that it was a good deal and decided to sign up for it . On the day of my private lesson the instructor stopped the lesson at 30 minutes , I told her that they had told me 45 minutes and she said that she couldn't do anything about it because it's a rule from the owner that introductory private lessons are only 30 minutes . The instructor then moved on to another couple that was there for a lesson after me . I expressed my complaint to the front desk person but they said nothing about it . It's a shame that they did not honor what they had originally told me because I actually enjoyed my private lesson with the instructor but have not gone back since doing my introductory lessons because they made me feel that they were just after my money. They did not seem to care that they had an unhappy customer due to the conflicting information that they gave. read more

For all of you who love to dance, this is the place! Went there last Friday night after heard from a friend how great it is. He wasn't kidding. Not only the place lived up to it's reputation as beautiful and friendly but also come with a lot of fun! I learned 4 new line dance and salsaed with some talented fellow dancers. I have to say that I came into this place without any dance experience whatsoever. That all changed after the first lesson with Marcin. I was always fascinated with all styles of dance but never actually tried them. Within the first lesson Marcin incorporated 3 that would be easy for me to follow (salsa, cha-cha, bachata). Salsa instantly struck a chord with me and the rest was history. Rebecca has been a blessing within the lessons and parties. Having two people work with me makes it so much easier to understand certain techniques. Her and Marcin put so much work into getting me to understand the steps and I couldn't appreciate them for doing that and boy howdy do they make you put on a sweat. read more

There are dancing classes here for everybody and every level. The people here are welcoming and so much fun. The owners are so welcoming here and the atmosphere here is great. Fred Astaire is our to-go place for social dancing every Fridays. Great place to dance the night away with friendly and awesome, professional roaming dance instructors for no experience to experienced dancers. We are always treated as family and with great hospitality. I see a lot of regular faces at the studio which proves that the owner had earned so much reputation and regular followers. This is my favorite dance studio and events venue so far. I've tried several studios in different areas, some much closer to me than Studio M, but no where can compare to this place. Its Friday night ballroom social dance party surpasses all the other studios in the area in reference to cleanness, atmosphere, music and lighting. The owner is so gracious and warm which make you feel most welcomed and at ease as soon as you step into his studio. He even provided 3 to 4 dance instructors besides himself to lead you on the dance floor for various ballroom styles and line dances. Because I loved the place so much I decided to host a baby shower there for my friend. The price was so reasonable compare to other venues nearby. With little extra charges I let the owner decorate the place for me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I got there. All tables and chairs had covers on with runners and sashes and center pieces. Everything looked just beautiful! Food was catered through him. It's not only delicious but beautifully presented! The whole experience of dealing with him for hosting my party there was just wonderful! I would highly recommend Studio M for both as a venue and a dance studio where you can learn how to dance with great enjoyment! read more
