7 months late, but better late than never. We initially came here based on a Groupon deal, and eventually were convinced to continue taking lessons. We are so glad we did. We only had one month till our wedding and Jerric did an amazing job choreographing our dance and catering the dance to match our level. He made us feel comfortable and helped us prepare for our big day in a short period of time. Denis also helped a lot by fine tuning our dancing and helping us look more smooth. We loved staying for the group classes after as well and getting to meet everyone and dancing with and learning from different partners. It was such a fun environment and we'd definitely recommend taking lessons here as well as staying for the party afterwards. This review is long overdue. My husband and I looked into taking dance lessons for our first dance and we found Arthur Murray Diamond Bar. Thank goodness we found this dance studio. In our first introduction meeting we met Denis we had such a fun time we booked our class package right after. Denis is very fun, caring, and passionate about dance. Jerric was our official dance instructor. There are not enough words or praise to say how amazing working Jerric was. Jerric made the whole experience fun and enjoyable (even for my husband) some of our favorite getting ready for the wedding memories are from us laughing in the dance studio. We really enjoyed the group classes; it was fun getting to meet other people and learn new things other than our first dance choreography. I really appreciated the flexibility of our private lesson scheduling. Overall an amazing experience, can't wait to come back soon! I am 70 years young and I took my first dance lesson here at Arthur Murray Diamond Bar Dance Studio earlier this week, and I had the best time ever! I am a widower whereby my beloved wife died quietly in her sleep in 2023, and since then I mostly just stay home by myself with my two beloved tabby cats. I finally decided to come out of my isolation and I found this dance studio on Google, so I gave them a try, and I'm so glad I did! Amanda was my delightful dance instructor and after my weekly lesson at 6:45 pm I stayed for the group dance instructions followed by the partner switching dancing until 9 pm. I look forward to Sunday mornings at 8am, because of this awesome, fun and not intimidating Bollywood workout taught by Tapasya D. She is a sweet lady who maintains so much energy and sweetness throughout the class. A little about me, I cannot dance and I'm very uncoordinated but I went because my friend encouraged me to go. 2 months ago the pre-wife tells me "hey, we are getting married next month... and we need an actual choreographed first dance". I respond to her, "No, I don't do choreographed dances, especially if we are to perform in front of hundreds of our family and friends with only weeks away from the big day." I mean I'm awesome, but not that awesome ;). Two weeks after our wedding, we are still getting compliments on our first dance. It was a success! Literally, after few sessions that I could count with my hand (add a few more from my wife's for our at-home practices), Akela our dance instructor & choreographer, helped boost our confidence to perform the Viennese Waltz! We (or I...) never thought we could dance like this before (mind you I'm into hip-hop, but this was way out of my comfort zone initially). She's funny, straightforward and detailed--even to small details of modifying our dance to make sure that our dance's "leap of faith into his arms" wouldn't end up being a disaster since my wife's dress is twice the size of me. HUGE kudos, applause, and thank-you goes out to this clean, immaculate studio with instructors like Akela and Red for making our wedding memorable. Side note, it was nice to see that our friends kept their recording where my wife and I can now see our dance...in 5 different angles lol. Perfection like Akela had wanted it? I'm excited to be one of Denis's students, he is a wonderful dance teacher. Him and Yuliya are tremendous dancers and all around wonderful people. I'm very happy that they have their own dance studio, they deserve it! If he taught 3 hours away from where I live I would still make the trek to learn from him. Denis has a deep understanding of every movement that is part of the dance and is able to guide his students without their even realizing how they can do it. Only then do they realize that they can do it and then continue following in his teaching for getting better and better. He was able to teach me more in the the 1st year than I thought I would be able to do in my whole lifetime. I have been learning Latin Dance with the owner over 3 years, he is very patient and gradually train my dance techniques in all aspects of body action, arm styling and leg movements, so I can dance more independently and looks beautiful !
