I've always wanted a nicer first dance for my wedding day but I was soOO caught up with the entire planning that I failed to book a choreographer for the grand entrance first dance. As a horrible procrastinating bride I literally reached out to AMNA dance 5 days before my wedding desperately seeking for an instructor that will drive to my home for a private lesson with my fiance and I. Despite all instructors were booked, AMNA went through hoops to squeeze a 1hr private lesson at the luxury of my home 3 days before the wedding. Though it was a short one hour, Sarika was amazing. She was calm, accommodating and patient. Steps were modified and tailored base on fiance and my grasp of the new routine. At the end my fiance and I pulled through the first dance and was very happy with what we were capable of achieving with a near impromptu dance session. Amna is the BEST dance teacher! I recently hired her to choreograph two dances for my dad's 50th birthday and she's been absolutely amazing thus far. We completed both dances in just 3 practices for each dance, about 1 hour to choreograph 1 minute. She's so creative with her steps and really takes the time to learn each dancer's style so she could make the dance the most comfortable and flattering to each dancer. She's been very flexible with timing and even drove out all the way to Glendale for practice. And most importantly, she makes dancing so much fun! AMNA and her team (Pinky an Shayna) did an amazing job on our wedding dance choreography. They got my siblings and my fiance and I ready for our respective dances. I was especially amazed by siblings dance, especially since my brother has never performed a choreographed dance before. He was originally very shy and nervous but Amna and her team met him and my sister at our house and made him feel at ease. Both he and my sister thoroughly enjoyed learning and performing the routine and now can not stop replaying and watching themselves dance. AMNA DANCE - My daughter DANIKA joined AMNA when she was 4years old at Kids Garden in Upland. In the one year Danika did two performances one is school and the other a Recital on Stage. My daughter has been taking classes with Amna for 2 years now. Amna is an AWESOME dancer and teacher. But what prompted me to write this review now is ...I was at a dance recital of another studio last week and performers of all ages performed after 10 months of classes, and it was not half as good as Amna's after just 4 months of classes, and this studio is quiet popular. I am so happy my daughter is with Amna. She is immensely dedicated to teaching and is very passionate about dance. It is really a treat to watch her dance. I have always felt that she would do anything she could to get the best out of her students and for this she works very hard. She is encouraging and has a very positive approach and energy. She has a lot of technical skills and combined with her creativity, she is THE BEST! My daughter loves her and absolutely enjoys her classes. We are very lucky to have found her.
