I began going to this place consistently, every 2 weeks for a period of a month. The younger woman that works there does an amazing job! If you do go make sure you go to her. She always slays my nails whether I ask for coffin shaped, matte, you know what the younger folks like. Then one day I got stuck with the older lady, she did a gorgeous Nex Gen set with baby blue powder. As she was putting on the nails I explained I love Nex Gen but hate the glossy finish, can we do a matte finish? We get to the end and after she puts on the final gloss she gets a buff and starts buffing away leaving it very scratched which I didn't notice (or I guess didn't want to notice, Im not one for confrontation) until I got in the car with my boyfriend. After I saw how horrible they looked and went back in and asked if she could fix it. Have no idea why she didn't just slap on matte polish like the other woman. She takes the drill and files it down to the point where you can now see the nail underneath and puts on a coat of clear polish with an attitude. I loved this place and always tipped, even with the amazing talent of the other worker I just can't even bring myself to spend money here. This happened the day before vday and I have yet to go back. If you do go please only go to the younger woman !!! The pic below is some work of the younger woman (uhg I feel so rude I don't remember her name but she is amazing !!)

My sister invited us to her main nail shop in Dallas . My sister is a regular by the way anyway, I enjoyed the hospitality in the nail shop . It was a southern vibe (living on the east coast), something I miss that southern vibe . In addition, Nail court has complementary non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. I had one glass of champagne and two glasses of margarita . My nail technician was great . He was vocal and had jokes . I actually prefer male technicians so this was a plus . Nail court is an intimate setting to enjoy self care with a small friend circle . Because my sister recommended this place, I know it's a good look . I'll return when I'm visiting Dallas . While the lady who manages the store is really nice (I believe Kim), some of the employees were quite unpleasant. I have small nails and my nail technician was shocked to know that I do not want to add tips. She asked me 3 times and I kept reassuring her that I just want my natural nails shaped and painted gel. I said I want it as close to almond as possible knowing they're too small to look exactly so, and she continued to say it's not possible. I told her they've done so at other salons and it's been fine but again, she continued to tell me what she can't do and how come I don't want tips. When I showed a picture of the color I wanted, she led me to the color tray and was not helpful at all in picking out a color that would match with chrome on top. They then proceeded to tell me the price and I asked why it's different than Nail Court in Lewisville. Manicure with chrome is an amazing $47 in Lewisville vs $60 here and she said they are not the same business and have different owners. D'oh! Super confusing with the name. I ended up leaving given the service and probably wouldn't be back. I will say Kim was really nice though but unfortunately don't remember the name of the nail technician! I went elsewhere where I felt taken care of and they did an amazing job with my nails.
