The nails techs have generally been kind, deliberate, communicate effectively and ensure you're happy. I've also always had an appointment though. I recently stopped in at 1pm on a random Wednesday when I had a couple hours to spare, thinking I would not need an appointment -- I was wrong. It did not look busier than normal and had several empty stations where I would have thought they'd offer to put me to soak until someone was available but I was told it was a 2 to 3 hour wait and encouraged to make an appointment. It seems there are two kinds of nail salons: those that make you feel genuinely welcomed the moment you walk in: offering a drink, trying to fit you in if they can, and making hospitality part of the experience, and those that are more appointment-driven and transactional. In my experience, while the work is good and dazzle dry may entice me to revisit, this salon falls into the latter category. TLDR: always book ahead.
