The small kitchen in the back also helps when bringing in food and Kelly (owner) will assist with food set-up and will also provide sterno cups for a small fee. Kelly was also very accommodating for the use of our music and other audio visual equipment. The hall is very spacious and allows enough room for dancing or games or other activities in the middle of the hall between the tables. We also appreciated the use of a large cooler for ice and separate table for soft drinks. Set up was pretty close to what I would have done in my own home, but with much easier clean-up. She also had access to a gentleman to assist with clean-up and a bartender. We took advantage of the help from both and it made serving and shut-down that much easier. All in all, our guests enjoyed themselves immensely and the team that planned the party was able to get all that they needed to make my niece very happy with her surprise birthday party. You will be playing games that make you feel like you're playing dodge ball. Duos and groups of 3 or 4 , competing in laser beam limbo , memory games , hopping, shooting lasers, laser Tetris and pac man adjacent games. I didn't realize it at the beginning but you will earn points for each room you enter and will be ranked according to your skill. Some rooms are popular and may have a long line . You have to wait your turn. They have lockers for stuff. Not a lot of stuff. My friend brought a red cooler full of water for his birthday celebration. He's 40 and very thirsty. After 15 min of playing games , I began to sweat. I was nervous and afraid to be musty. The rooms are small and it would linger . Jesus . ( What is this life I'm living ? ) I took a potty break. Gathered myself as women always do and had a great time. Key Points : There is a literacy level to these games . Make sure at least 1 person can read on your team. I figured the best way to help him was to get first hand experience of the tour, so I booked a Friday afternoon tour for my team. Can I just say what an awesome time we had? We are all fairly local folks but we learned so much and ate amazing food. I appreciate the level of service Zachary provided including helping to fit this in my budget. All communication was prompt and easy to understand. The payment process was simple. Instructions for where to meet and questions about food allergies or other issues were appreciated. Even in the rain, this was just so much fun. We started at the Maryland Center for History and Culture. As a museum junkie, I loved that we started with a quick tour through Baltimore history! And we got to pop into the Jim Henson exhibit. They have the Labyrinth Dress!! After that we started walking. Did you know the Ouija board was created in Baltimore?? I did not. We walked into the Enoch Pratt Library and poked our head into the Peabody. And we did a quick tour of the Washington Monument. I did not know you could go inside it for free. The food part was even better! Started at Tio Pepe's which was delicious and such a cool building. After more walking we stopped that Helmund for more food. Not sure how long they are been open, but they would different benefit from better signage. The baby shower I attended to location at the further room within the center. The room was wide-open, basically a clean slate, allowing you to decorate to your liking. There was one bathroom in the room, but it was small. This location is ideal for a small get together. Not sure how much it costs to rent, but the venue offers a great space to make your vision come to life. The parking situation isn't too bad, I think the parking lot could be set-up a little better, allowing for more parking spaces. But, its a safe area that is easily accessible.
