The worst service attitude I've ever experienced! The lady told us that if we only ordered two dishes, we had to take them to go and were not allowed to sit and dine in. What a strange rule! I've never experienced anything like this at a restaurant before. This was my first time here, and it will definitely be my last. I was honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. The food was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we ordered was well-prepared and exceeded our expectations. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere, clean and comfortable with a warm ambiance that made it easy to relax and enjoy our meal. Overall, the quality of the food, service, and dining experience was outstanding. I would definitely return and highly recommend giving this place a chance rather than judging it solely by some of the reviews. Sometimes the best experiences are the ones you discover for yourself. We also got both types of chicken wings, beef tendon, zucchini, chives, corn cheese, and many others that I forgot to take pictures of because of how good the food is. I came here because I heard the rice noodles were their signature dish, and they were definitely good. But for me, the real standouts were the grilled fish, the charcoal BBQ, and the sweet and sour pork (Guo Bao Rou). Those dishes had the authentic flavors I grew up with. Visited LA to attend day 2 of BTS concert. One of the only restaurants open late in our area and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The lady upfront did not speak any english but we could get away with ordering and paying through the QR code so everything was efficient. The food was delicious! We ordered the Northeastern Meat Sauce Rice Noodles (my fave), Stir fried instant noodles, Lamb Kebobs, and Pork belly skewers. The menu photo is just from the internet." Even worse, the clams were poorly cleaned and full of sand. Extremely slow service, poor food quality, misleading menu photos, and an awful attitude. The owner's attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. The food that was served smelled bad and seemed spoiled, which was completely unacceptable. I originally planned to leave a 10% tip, but after this experience, even that felt generous. The server is ridiculous. On a quiet afternoon, we walked in and it took her 10-15 minutes before she could come to our table to tell us to order via QR. She asked me to tip, and I refused, explaining my reason. She got upset and locked the door, forcing us to stay inside. It felt like a threat--being locked inside a restaurant over a tip. She only reopened the door after my friend asked her, "Are you trying to imprison us?" Leaving a review about their service is honestly a waste of time. They don't improve. One customer posted a review about the female owner's behavior, and she retaliated by posting that customer's photo on a public social media platform called RedNote, without their consent. That's insane. A lot of customers have complained about the service here, but it's truly something you won't believe until you experience it yourself. The moment she asked me to tip, I started recording. I felt it was necessary based on how she was acting. And sure enough--a restaurant owner actually locked her customers inside. I would give zero stars if I could. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in LA. Staff: This was the worst service ever. We walked in and the staff member didn't greet us and then she just walked away. I had to chase after her to let her know how many people were in our party. She then said the food would take a long time. I asked how long, and she replied, "30-45 minutes." I said, "Wow," and she responded with, "If you can wait, then wait. If not, then you can leave." I saw there was a table available and asked if we could sit. She said, "Even if you sit, you'll still have to wait for the food." We waited 10 minutes before she finally seated us. We were not offered water while she served other tables with utensils and drinks. I ask her not to add bean sprouts to my food, and she said she wouldn't make any changes because there were too many orders and she didn't have time to note it. I asked, "What if someone is allergic to it?" and she replied, "Then leave and don't eat." That's extremely concerning that they clearly don't care about customers' allergies. I had to ask twice before she brought me a to-go container. Then I had to go back to the cashier to ask for a plastic bag. She ignored me for a full minute, then threw the bag at me without even looking. I don't expect this kind of attitude or service in the U.S. The owner really needs to properly train the staff. Food: The soup base wasn't bad, but the amount of beef was minimal. I felt like I ordered a vegetarian noodle bowl. I waited almost 30 minutes for two bowls of noodles. I could have made it faster at home. Environment: No air conditioning. It was extremely hot, especially while eating boiling hot noodles,and is worse if you ordered something spicy. This place is DEFINITELY NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!. The way they carry out the food is dangerous, there's a real risk of them spilling a hot pot on a customer.
