He was able to find these two shoes if not suggest a near alternative shoe with the same features and classic style. I was hoping for a huge selection but their style is very classic, simple and extreme comfort without inducing pain to the feet. He further serve my request to split the bill evenly onto THREE formats! Stuart Weitzman is a well made shoe designed for the feet where I was walking on cloud nine rather than pounding the ground plaguing with millions of blisters. Scooter is God's gift for women who need the perfect pair of boots. Here's the deal, I am a tiny girl, only 4'11 and convinced that most boots, especially thigh high boots, are just a distant dream. I strolled in, not for the first time at this brand, for the purpose of looking longingly at the array of boots made in the most supple leather in the industry. The only thing I've ever purchased from Stuart Weitzman was a pair of cream cork wedge pumps eons ago. I picked a "safe" option, the classic black leather 50/50, to try for fun. What a blessing it was to be helped by Scooter. He proved me wrong with his knowledge, patience and humor. He calmed my fears and guided me. He taught me all the tricks, the right and wrong way to put a pair of boots. I was feeling 90% about a pair of boots, he was not pushy and suggested I put it on hold till the next day to retry with the correct outfit. The next day, I left the happiest girl in the world, with a pair of lovely Black Leather Highlands. Everyone in the store seemed to have an exuberant energy and were very kind. If my experience with Scooter is any indication of the excellence of the salespeople and management there, you will be well taken care of. It's been weeks since, and I still smile remembering my good experience when I look upon my new boots. Also the recent renovation is tres chic and no longer so dated! The store quality here has diminished greatly over time in my opinion. I have been coming here for many years. I remember when the customer service was good, shoe quality was better and the sales people treated you with respect. It doesn't really matter whether you walk in carrying a $5000 designer handbag or a tote from Coach. You might get stared at for a few minutes, they might look down at your shoes, and then make a snap decision whether you are worth waiting on. They have decent trunk shows at this location, which is about the only thing positive I can say for the store. I purchased presale two sandals this last winter for the spring collection. They were sent to my home, but did not work out well. When I went to return them, they did not want to because it was more than 14 days since I purchased them! Well duh!! They were presold. They charge your card at the time you order rather than at the time of delivery (is that even legal?) !! It took me over 20 minutes to explain that to the salesperson. Utterly ridiculous. Then they did not want to return one pair and I had to dispute the charge on my credit card. They had the shoes, but did not want to credit my card! I work for a luxury retail company and was appalled by the terrible customer service in this store. An older gentlman that worked there walked in as I was shopping and I over heard him commenting (poking fun) at a customers expense to another associate. What disgusting behavior. I popped in here during an afternoon stroll with a friend. We were in search of wedding shoes. We found a pair that would have been perfect, only no one seemed to be interested in helping us. After waiting around to catch a bored looking sales associate's attention she immediately told us the style we picked out was very popular and that she didn't "think" she had them in my size....and then stood there staring at us. Ookaay...so since we have been searching high and low for the perfect shoes and think we've finally found them we ask her if she could ya know, find out if they do or do not have them in my size. We get some eye action and she does her thing and says nope, all out. No offer of would we like them in another color, or information on when they might be getting a new shipment. Now, around us other customers seemed to be getting perfectly good service that you would expect from a Stuart Weitzman store. No idea why she was so disinterested in us when we were looking to purchase two pairs of $300+ shoes. My friend persisted in asking for them in another color so that we could try them out. They were great. So great, I almost impulse bought the other color because they were so comfortable and vampy all at once. Except that they were practically hurled at us. Except that when we were asked if they would be getting more in in the other color we were told "I don't know." end of story. Not interested. Never would go in alone because I wouldn't be able to afford much, but mom was in town :) The help was friendly from the beginning - I didn't get any of that 'you're not good enough to be in here' vibe. All shoes in the store are current and Stuart's latest, except for the sale items which are one season behind - the sale section is verrry minimal, 5 shoes tops. The shoes here are gorgeous - there is no way to argue this fact. Everything from his heels, flats, boots, even the flip flops - are done elegantly and to perfection. The handbags I could do without, they're a pretty obvious attempt to jump onto the luxury handbag train without any inspiration in the design. Really friendly staff and decent selection and variety. I don't necessarily dress up to go shopping, and I was coming from lunch with old friends, so I did not look quite like sw's regular clientele, but everyone treated me like my money was just as green, which was nice. These shoes are not exactly cutting edge, but they are really comfy. I was greeted by several peoe as I came in, even though they were crowded, and I was offered help but not harassed about it. I was in search for the perfect cute winter boots... something stylish yet warm for the upcoming winter months and my upcoming vacation. And this tiny little shoe store on Madison made me do a little dance of joy... So the morning started of at 8am at the Saks Post Christmas Sale. (The crowd... the madness... this is why I don't do sales.) So I found the boots I wanted... the boots I've been searching for... and YES THEY WERE ON SALE... with an additional 40% off! Woo-hoo! THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY SIZE!!! But can I just say to the big-fat-EURO-TRASH lady with the big beehive hair-do and heavy make-up.... yelling and cursing at the sales guy because they didn't have your size is not going to help. And that pleather red coat your wearing makes you look like an over-the-hill, well done, cheap, hooker. SO... went to Stuart. Found the boots... and they had my size!!! They were 40% off... but I was selfish. I thought if I went to Bloomies I would get a better deal. BUT WHAT? Did I hear the salesman correctly? The boots are not on sale? But they're on sale at Saks and at the SW store? So... long story short (not really) I went back to the nice lady at Stuart who held my boots for me... and I got them. My favorite shoe store in the whole city...now THAT'S something! I am extremely picky about my choice of shoe and I have pretty narrow feet that turn in, so I have to be extra careful when it comes to choosing the perfect shoe that doesn't hurt my feet, but still looks fashionable. Stuart Weitzman is just the place!! The staff there is absolutely delightful and the decor is out of this world. The prices are absolutely appropriate and there is a plethora of shoes to select. Some of the most incredibly uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn! Staff was not particularly nice or helpful either.

They agreed that it was a defect and gave me a refund for the bag. I still would have rather had the bag without the defect, and it's even more of a shame since it was a gift. Walked into Stuart Weitzman shoe shop on Madison Avenue today. Have never purchased his shoes but had seen a perfect boot for Fall/Winter on line, which I contemplated purchasing. My only concern was sizing having never bought shoes with him...I walked into the shop with my friends and YURI, the Sales Lady was absolutely brilliant. She was beyond gracious, made suggestions, brought out several pairs for me to try, in several sizes, all with genuine kindness. She had not idea whether I would leave with a purchase, but I did. I bought a great pair of boots which Yuri had to order from another shop as my size was not available. She told me not to worry and that I did not have to wait for confirmation and that she would have them shipped to my home. This is what I call true customer service!! THANK YOU YURI!!! read more

Love this place - came in here in search of wedding shoes and was helped immediately. I found a pair that I loved but the white was a little discolored from sittin in the sun, so the sales associate was nice enough to find me another pair at a different store and have them shipped to me at no cost. I was in Stuart Weitzman and saw they had a sale and decided to check it out since we heard how great their shoes are. But unfortunately when my coworker and I walked in we were not greeted. We felt like we were not welcome to the store. When we picked up a few shoes, the older sales lady then decided to greet us and ask if we need assistance. She took our shoes to check to see if she had our sizes. We waited for awhile and finally saw her. She completely ignored us. We had to approach her and asked if she had our sizes. She pointed to another salesperson and told us the other salesperson will help us. I was appalled! We had a very unpleasant experience in this store! and if I ever buy Stuart Weitzman shoes again I would rather get them from a department store... but then again why would I give them my money!!!!! read more
