We decided to continue to use this company because the former owners used them for adding pylons to the house for leveling. The work team was prompt. The foreman was good at communicating. The front half of our property had been marked for electrical and gas lines prior to crew arrival. The back half of the property did NOT. We called them a day in advance to let them know that the property had not been completely marked and they said it would be fine and they would continue. When the team arrived, we reminded them that not all the property had been marked appropriately for lines that lie underground. They said that they dig blindly all the time and it wouldn't be an issue. The team used a SHARP SHOOTER shovel to dig soil for excavation under the foundation. With the first dig of dirt, they clipped a gas line. This intern required emergency shut off and notification of a plumber as well as the city to come and evaluate this gas line. The foreman apologized multiple times and reassured us that the company would pay for the damages. He himself and several of the team members admitted that they messed up but the main office would take care of all of it. Our plumber pulled them aside and told them that they should know better, and not to use that equipment when exposing, especially when digging blind. We reached out to the office and spoke with Austin. Up until this point the office staff had been very cordial. When we explained to Austin the situation, everything changed. He then scoffed that we were going to bring up the contract. He said they would give us $200 voucher to cover expenses but ultimately it was not their problem. They stated that damages occur when lifting a house, which was understood. We read the contract Verbatim to them, and stated that this did not happen during the act of lifting, but during exposure. Therefore, they are responsible for the damages, especially when they did not have the property marked and were digging blindly. We were then told that if we wanted to go any further, we would need to get a lawyer and bring them to court because they would not help us out. We explained this response to the foreman, and he apologized many times, and said that it was terrible business. That they made a mistake, and that they should be covering the cost of it. He apologized for the rudeness and lack of responsibility coming from the managing office. We spoke several times with the office pleading with them. They once again stated that we would have to have a lawyer to come to any agreement. This mistake during excavation cost us $3000. Then we still had our $9000 bill. Mistakes happen, but taking responsibility and ownership of one's mistakes sets businesses apart. This company will not do that. They have insurance for a reason, but refuse to use it when they cause customer property damage outside of the legal binding contract. I would not recommend this company.

And it is cleaned up.

This company is the real deal. We have now had all 4 sides of our house done. Their warranty is real, they repair what they need to which is minimal. They are the hardest working crews. They leave your yard better than they found it. Highly highly recommended.

Thanks for flushing a years with of work down the crapper, and offering no resolution.

They replaced the attic ladder and ceiling in the garage when it was time to ;upgrade'. Doug gave us some really good tips on what to do and what NOT to do.. My wife and I are VERY picky who we let work on our home and believe me, Doug's crew is the BEST I have ever encountered in my 50 years of home ownership. They are fair priced and the quality of work is OUTSTANDING.Their entire crew are really masters at their profession. You will NOT be disappointed !!!!! Astrotech is the first and ONLY call I make when our home needs TLC and repair !! John K. /Joy B Bedford

I found their number in the Nextdoor site and called. Doug contacted me immediately and we set a time to meet. He arrived with the two roofers and as soon as they saw the roof, they knew exactly what to do. The pics don't do it justice but... so much better. The roofer even took the sky lights off, sealed them and placed them back. Take away, LOOK NO-FURTHER! roof is fixed, no more leaks. Excellent customer service, excellent communication. Next time I am in need of roof repair or otherwise, I will be calling Astrotech for Sure.

If being excited about gutters means you're an adult, then I guess this is adulthood. We had…read moreBrotherhood Roofing install new gutters for us and I'm in LOVE. Sebastian was the person who came out and provide a quote. He was always incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. Selvin was lead for the crew that came out. They came exactly when they said they would, installed everything quickly, and left the area clean (if not cleaner) than they found it. All of my interactions with the crew were very good and they worked so quietly, I was able to work inside my house with no problem. If I ever have roofing or gutter issues, I will definitely reach back out to Brotherhood Roofing!

Third and hopefully final update:…read more Brotherhood Roofing refuses to call me to fix this issue. I think their customer service speaks for itself at this point, and I've included screenshots of their communication. The emails are from their business owner, while the Yelp response is from an employee. (Please check out their original response in my screenshot, they have since updated it to seem more professional). Here's the full story so potential customers can know what I experienced: My roof was completed in November 2019, so it was under warranty until November 2024. (Picture of contract is attached, it was not 2016 as their employee claims.) In June 2024, we had some leaks and the owner came out to investigate. We fixed the issues he pinpointed (leaves in the gutters and caulk around some flashing), but there was still leaking. A different roofer said the leak was coming from another location that they had not initially pinpointed. I tried to contact Brotherhood Roofing for the next 10 months, and they never returned my calls. In August 2024, their business was listed as closed, so I figured that was that. I still called to try and get this issue resolved. Today, in April of 2025, I received responses to my reviews on Yelp and Google, erroneously claiming that our install date was from 2016. I immediately reached out via phone call and email, hoping I could finally resolve the issue after 10 months. The company refuses to call me to discuss this. From my point of view, I am understandably annoyed about not receiving communication for 10 months and then receiving a sassy response to my reviews that tries to discredit me, with no attempt to resolve the issue. I no longer want this company to touch my home, but I think it's only fair to share the way that I have been treated so future customers can avoid the same experience. I hope that the company does not respond to this review and instead leaves me alone, as their communication with me has been very unpleasant and distressing. (Putting a fourth update here, since it's less important. Brotherhood continues to adjust their Yelp response to seem more professional and to discredit me. Luckily screenshots exist. The flashing they mentioned was under an eave, installed by our pest control company, and did not affect the roof. We do not have oak trees. They also said they would only re-inspect their work if I remove my reviews, which I'm not going to do. Their responses are continually baffling.) Second Update (after their Yelp response): I have a contract in my inbox dated 2019. I have emailed it to you. That maintenance was completed and the roof was still leaking. Another roofing contractor came out, looked at the roof, and confirmed that there was an area that was done poorly that caused the leak. You said you would contact me when that maintenance was completed. It has been. Please contact me. Update since I cannot reply to the business owner's comment: My roof was installed in November 2019, not 2016. I tried to contact them starting in summer of 2024, when my roof WAS still under warranty, and they did not respond and their business was listed as closed. Interesting that they're now replying to emails. I would LOVE for the business owner to call me in regards to this.
