After talking to several other companies and having them come and give me estimates I called HD Foundations. They were able to work with my schedule and get Greg (the owner) out to do an inspection. I also provided them the engineers report from the seller. Greg arrived right on time for the inspection. He asked me several questions and listened to all my concerns. I showed him around the house and perimeter so he could see the areas I had concerns with the foundation. He stated he had a good idea of what would need to be done and took measurements. He then sat down with me and went over the whole process and pricing of the work. Based on his professionalism I signed the contract and sent it back with the deposit. Ruth and Rose were very helpful in answering all my questions about the contract and covering my concerns. They booked me with Rene who is their pier and beam specialist since my house is from the 40's. I was worried that my work would be delayed because of the rain but Rene and his crew showed up on the start date. They were about 45 minutes late but they apologized and let me know they had an issue with their trailer which is why they were late. They unloaded and started work. I had to leave for a meeting and when I came back two hours later they had half of the holes dug. They even worked around my large hibiscus so not to disturb it. The crew was very professional and expedient in their work. They allowed me to go look at what they were doing and Rene explained everything I had questions on. They even discovered a working spigot under my deck and cut out a hole so I could access it. I didn't even know it was there! When they finished they replanted the items they had dug up and cleaned up as much as possible. The inside didn't show any signs of them being there except the areas that I'll have to fix from the foundation being lifted but that was to be expected and had been explained to me from the start. The outside was cleaned as well as possible due to all the mud from the clay. Overall they did a great job. While new cracks and breaks occurred in the drywall and tiles from the lifting it was to be expected and many of my problem cracks that had appeared are now gone. The biggest plus is that my front and back doors both close and lock with the door knob and not just the dead bolt anymore! I've already referred them to one of my friends and will be calling on HD Foundation again in the future for any additional foundation needs and the drainage solution I'm going to need.

Now, I recommended they use Will with MBR. He's honest when there's not a problem. True current story... I have a listing and we handed over a foundation warranty to the buyers. Turns out, the warranty was NOT in effect because... refer back to my first paragraph. Now we had a problem to fix. Spoke to the buyers' agent and turns out, MBR was her trusted company too! Will came out was able to offer a warranty on the previous work. Having someone we BOTH trusted was absolutely essential to keeping this deal together. They also claimed they were going to fix everything when i have proof that they only offered to fix a few scratches and cabinet adjustments and acid wash on the shower when there was so much damage to my home and my belongings. Laundry 7-28-25 $5,600 80 sqft included closet but was not done, along with door hinge. Plus light and water comes in through door they installed improperly. Master Bath$23,000 flooring already has soft spots and raised spots they also left a mess, paint spray, concrete spray in shower, foam and grout in cabinet. The safety bars were installed with only 1 screw on each side and immediately became loose and i almost fell in the shower, I have multiple sclerosis and rely on safety. Deck and ramp 8-10-25 $18,000 The deck was suppose to be made wheel chair accessible because I have multiple sclerosis and it is way to steep (2 feet high 16 feet long) it needs to be 1/12 slope to use a wheel chair or walker on, they also built it to close to my ac unit only 4 inch when its suppose to be 12-24 inch away from ac, I have a new ac unit and have already had issues with it freezing over and its also a fire hazard, had to get it serviced and the ac repair people told us the deck needs to be moved because they built it to close to the ac. Flooring, $14,000 8-27-25 The flooring is not level and has soft spots everywhere including going down entire walkway of the house, raised spots, vinyl planks already coming up all down the entire house. The flooring itself was also damaged during the next project kitchen and bath remodel. They did not protect any of my other rooms or my belongings and completely destroyed a vintage 50 year old dollhouse, and tons of breakable things that were just thrown in big trash bags. Kitchen and bath 9-18-25 $50,000 They took my payment in 3 payments when the contract said 5 and i didn't realize till after i sent pay and after that they basically halted work and were extremely slow at getting back to me or sending up anyone to finish the rest of the work, I was displaced for 4 months when i was told it was going to be 3 weeks on the contract, there is extensive damage to my cabinets and walls and floor, including holes in the walls in cabinets and on the floor in cabinet and since then we've found snakes inside drawers and cabinets where the holes are, and ants coming in from the seam of the floor thats separated throughout the living room and kitchen also the guest bath was not touched. This will be a bit of an extensive write up so if you don't want to read; Overall Daniel did…read moreamazing work, would absolutely hire him again to do more jobs! The project I had done started a couple months back when I was researching pricing on having concrete poured from the back to the front yard, with a pad to store my garbage cans and any other items on the side of the house, as well as stone edging that matched the front of the house to go along the perimeter of the sidewalk. I had an estimated range of pricing I would be happy with for the amount of concrete and the overall scope of work to be done. Several contractors came out to give me quotes but Daniel was the only one who showed up at the time we had scheduled, which is very much appreciated. We talked about the scope of work, materials required and the timeframe for getting everything done. The pricing for the project was within the range I had researched before so I decided to go ahead and sign on with Daniel for the job. The concrete pour was a single day job. Daniel and his crew showed up in the morning to get all the prep work done and were very accommodating to some of the minor changes that I wanted to implement to the final design. Once that was done it was time to pour, which went about as smoothly as it could've gone. Finally we got the materials required to have the stonework done for the edging on the sidewalk. The materials were delivered to the house the day before and Daniel was again on time the next day to get the project done. We again talked about a couple minor changes to the final design (part of which was suggested by one of his crew) and this was another single day job. Daniel was able to come by the house and clean up everything from the project before I started getting issues from my lovely HOA. Again, overall Daniel did an amazing job, I'm particular about the work done on my house and he was very accommodating with any changes or issues I had.
