Reposting since they deleted my 1 star review - so much for honesty and transparency. Shows who you'll be working with if you unfortunately choose to rent from them.
It's interesting to read the reviews here because they do not represent any of my experience working with Tyler Moore and renting from Structure Properties. Tyler is the most unresponsive, unhelpful, forgetful landlord/building manager both myself and my partner have worked with in our lives.
On our move in day, he left keys for us in the Structure Properties mailbox. They were the wrong keys. We didn't figure that out until we tried to move our stuff to the new apartment. Luckily we had a few days left on our old place, but otherwise, we would have been screwed.
After we finally got the correct keys the next day, we found out that he yet again forgot to give us the laundry room key. We again, had to email him, wait for a response, and then pick up a key - all while moving.
Quarantine happened, and we were considering the idea of getting a dog, so we emailed Tyler about the proposal. He took an entire week to get back to me with a short "Let me ask the owner." Three weeks later - nothing, and we were tired of waiting, so I decided to give him a call. "Oh sorry - I've just got back from vacation and I've been so busy" was the excuse (and this excuse was used the next time, and the next time, and the next). He said he asked the owner and they said yes, and that he will figure out the details and get us the paper work by end of the week. Another 3 weeks later passed and literally nothing. Meanwhile, the laundry machine had broken and ate my change, and I emailed about it. Didn't heaar back for a week so I decided to call again to ask about both things. I was astounded by the lack of care or responsiveness of this person. Again, his excuse was "Oh wow, I've been so busy. The puppy right? Haha. Let me check on that and I'll get back to you." I originally asked July 1st and it is now October 5th as I am typing this. We are still waiting.
We recently had a new upstairs neighbor move in and it has been horrible. Nonstop stomping on the floors, and they have no rugs (they told me when I asked). They threw an all night party the weekend they moved in, and after asking them nicely, they still continued on. When I knocked on their door to ask again, they decided to ignore me and not answer the door, laughing behind the door like children. Running low on sleep because of my loud obnoxious neighbors, I call Tyler the Monday following - no answer. I call again to leave a message and he rudely answers "I'm very busy. I manage 60 buildings. Is this even urgent?" Who cares if you managed 60 properties, isn't that your job? I'll do mine, and you do yours. He says he'll call me back by 4pm. Guess what, he doesn't! What a surprise *pure sarcasm*
At this point, my neighbors are again playing guitar loudly and stomping. The ridiculous noise, in addition the lack of care and dignity that Tyler Moore has for his job, I've had enough of living here and giving him and Structure Properties my money. It takes 2 more calls to his phone, which I have to get forwarded through structure properties, completely inconvenient and designed to prevent you from actually talking to a human.
3 months later, we are finally done with Structure Properties and Tyler Moore. We ended up moving out early and paying double rent because that's how much we needed to get out and felt unheard the entire time. The entire time we moved out, we didn't hear a word from Tyler or Structure properties, except to collect our check - classic.
