A team of 2 electricians showed up to look over what needed to be done to install a new 220 line for a new electric clothes dryer. They left saying that the owner (Fred) would get back with a quote the next day. Two days later nothing. I called and spoke to a lady in ther office who was surprised that we hadn't heard anythong back and said she would page him immediately. Two days later, still cricketts. A call to their office got the same incredulous response from the same lady. Two days later, still nothing. A call to Jarvis got us nowhere as well. Bottom line, every contractor has its issues. In this case, when even the company's own staff doesn't have an answer, that should raise red flags to start with. The lady in the office couldn't resolve the issue. The sales people at Jarvis couldn't resolve the issue. I suggest you find someone else to do your electric work. They might be very good electricians, but customer service ALWAYS makes or breaks a company's reputation, hence my writing this review.

She later told me of the encounter and thought he came across as a good guy and was impressed with his professional demeanor. We happened to have some emergency work done on the house several months later and were in need of an electrician. I happen to know a couple of electricians through my business encounters and decide to call on them. 1 did not return my call that day or the next,and the other could not come till the following week. My wife suggested calling O'Connell Electric. He answered the call, had someone out the next morning. Gave us an estimate that seemed to us to be very fair. As the work progressed (20' of exterior wall rebuild) he was able to have someone/ several out to do the electrical portion . New incoming service, upgrade to circuit breaker panel, new wiring and outlets to the new wall. I have since dropped the other electricians from my referral list. All now are referred to O'Connell Electric. As we continue rehabbing our home,and as the need arisses we will call O'Connell Electric.

They realizes there was a loose connection in the outlet. They checked the other outlet I had in the kitchen and replaced both. Less than a half hour for the whole thing!! Amazing service, very polite and efficient workers. I keep going back to DiMasi whenever I have any electrical work that needs to be done, big or small, and they are always amazing.
