Taylor…read moreHVAC completely botched the air handler install - they put the air intake in the wrong place so the air return from the house did not go through the cooling/heating coils. That's why it never worked! Taylor HVAC told me that it works fine and I just had to run it so I did but it never cooled the condo. Then the outside heat pump started making loud noises. I called Joe Taylor and Taylor HVAC repeatedly begging them to return to fix their install but they refused to help saying they would not fix anything until the air handler install (which they botched and never worked) was paid in full! Then what happens - the external compressor blew. What a nightmare! ***Prior*** Taylor HVAC made multiple expensive repairs over the summer (motor and fan replacement, multiple refrigerant charges) but the AC kept breaking. They then recommended a large and costly air-handler replacement as the solution to make the AC work. They completed the large air handler replacement but the AC still was never cooling the condo. They left the condo multiple times claiming that the AC was fixed and that we just had to let it run but days later it was still in the 80s indoors. Now they blame other system parts making me wonder if the big expensive replacement was even necessary and they will not take any responsibility. We're left with costly repairs and a major replacement that remains nonfunctional while Taylor is no longer returning to complete the job they agreed to do and ran off with the large advance deposit. Now they are demanding more money and the whole process feels to me like extortion. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience and I would caution others about using their services.

A team of 2 electricians showed up to look over what needed to be done to install a new 220 line for a new electric clothes dryer. They left saying that the owner (Fred) would get back with a quote the next day. Two days later nothing. I called and spoke to a lady in ther office who was surprised that we hadn't heard anythong back and said she would page him immediately. Two days later, still cricketts. A call to their office got the same incredulous response from the same lady. Two days later, still nothing. A call to Jarvis got us nowhere as well. Bottom line, every contractor has its issues. In this case, when even the company's own staff doesn't have an answer, that should raise red flags to start with. The lady in the office couldn't resolve the issue. The sales people at Jarvis couldn't resolve the issue. I suggest you find someone else to do your electric work. They might be very good electricians, but customer service ALWAYS makes or breaks a company's reputation, hence my writing this review.
