Nor can I speak to whatever contractual decisions led to his choice of equipment. What I do want to speak to is my disappointment in Bill's behavior and his work. At the outset, things seemed okay. But when he finished, I was upset with what I found: Some window panes were only in the grooves on one side and were falling out on the other. Some did not go all the way up. Some did not go all the way down. A thunderstorm passed through the same day as the installation and blew one of the newly installed screens off the window and into my porch. Bill came by to inspect things and stated that he could not see how the screen could have possibly come off. When I tried to tactfully confront Bill about the quality of the work, he said, "That's just how they're made these days." When I disagreed and tried to approach the issue again, he eventually walked out on me mid-conversation and left. I arranged to have a window installation specialist look at Bill's work, and the verdict was that he did not measure or install the windows correctly, which lead to bowing and off-kilter appearance. Use a professional who knows what they're doing (i.e., someone else).

I called to ask them if they were able to do a custom gutter that would be over a leak in a joint in a sunroom I wanted done, NOT to ask for their opinion for what could be done with a gutter for the leak in my sun room... they talked and talked and talked about their license and they are bonded and insured, how long they have been in business, what they knew about sunrooms, what they had done with sunrooms, and then charged me over $500 per foot ($2,590) for a 5 foot standard gutter that was not placed under the leak that I was trying to correct, and then disrespected me by saying 'I' didn't understand the leak even though I had done multiple things to correct it.....he didn't listen, he didn't comprehend, he didn't do what I asked, he was disrespectful to me as a thinking woman, this was a simple task and I paid for it by not watching him do the job I laid out in detail what I wanted... (which he 'said he UNDERSTOOD')..... He talked, and talked, and talked and talked about who he was, what he knew, puffing all the way .....then charged me $500 per foot, for a simple 5 ft gutter of which the materials were not more then $50 to $75 I filed in small claims court he then brought a lawyer when, I only wanted to recoup a fair and partial refund, I wasn't asking for the whole thing back, but at the trial, they (he and the lawyer) had the nerve to be disparaging about my property..... I would never recommend this company and would warn anyone from working with them

First, he made a complete survey of the leaks in our roof, took photos and explained the problems clearly. We agreed to do some of the work within our budget. He and his brother came on time and restored and reconditioned the roof, giving it an additional five years of use. They waterproofed, and sealed the leaking areas, and rubber roof. They repaired existing shingles. I would definitely recommend them for roof repairs. He did not try to sell us a new roof, which he said we did not need, even though ours is old! Inka Constr. has replaced 20+ windows with Pella Impervia fiberglass in my home (incldg big double wide casements & short basement sliding windows). In the most recent project of an investment property we had them replace 9'w super heavy sliding patio doors & 3 windows. They removed & replaced rotted sill plates on the door and windows, foam insulated, & replace sills & molding with all new. Nik goes the extra distance adding a white oak threshold, replacing the sliding door moulding trim with bigger ones & also replacing the adjacent thru-the-wall A/C unit box's trim, making it look so much better. Nik took apart Harvey window sashes & trimmed the vinyl corner's mitered edges that the Harvey Window factory should've taken care of in QC. Nik is the consummate professional - he does what he says he'll do, always on time, dedicated, hardworking, superb craftsmanship, very experienced carpenter, and a perfectionist. He goes the extra distance & looks out for your interests, even when you don't know work needs to be done. And that's someone you want in your court. He's quiet, diligent, hard-working and a precise carpenter. Maria is a delight to deal with, warm, superb with fast communication texting/emailing keeping you apprised throughout the whole process, working with the town building dept, getting & closing permits & working w the distributor.
