I was asked by Tony if we had this repaired recently as he realized his work. I advised yes about a year ago or so. Due to knowing, this may have been due to his own workmanship he did not charge for the parts but a minimal fee for labor. This place could have said it broke you have to pay for both parts and labor but by showing they were honest with their customer service A.D. Cola has kept a very happy customer. The light was special ordered and arrived in a timely fashion. I got it home- unfortunately it sat in the box for the past 6 months while I got around to calling the electrician. When my electrician took it out of the box, the round lamp has a round baseplate. The baseplate is slightly larger than the lamp post so slightly overlaps and looks stupid. It's too late to return it. And too expensive to throw away. With all the other advice I received - I wish I would have been told that you can't put a round lamp on a square post. It was an expensive lesson.

I contacted them to cancel and was told that I could not cancel even though the parts had not been shipped yet. I ordered the parts on 5/25/2020 and the website says ships in 3-5 business days. I received the parts today 6/20/2020. The job that I needed the parts for was completed last week with the parts from another supplier. Now I'm stuck with $180 worth of parts that I have no use for. It's possible that many of my issues were simply bad luck out of Akian's control; but the number of them still leaves me somewhat skeptical. ----- Got central heat/AC installed a year ago; installation dragged way over the predicted time, but was otherwise fine. Expensive, to be sure, but you expect that in these parts. "Free" annual maintenance time? Four house calls later, still have no AC (I think it worked before being "maintained" but if it had an issue over the winter, I wouldn't know), which I'm now told will be the case for the entirety of May. Communication has been dismal- e.g. getting a text for an upcoming appointment nobody told me was even a thing (apparently the maintenance wasn't completed and nobody told me). Multiple "whoops, we need to order a part, we'll call you in a week or two". Why a part gets ordered on the fourth house call? Beats me. Why they can't stock parts for the products they themselves install? Beats me. And I've paid for a surge protector as part of this "free" process (why wasn't it included initially? Who knows!) If you want to be stuck in a 95-degree house, I recommend Akian. If you want new people coming to your house to chat every week, I recommend Akian. If you want to actually get working HVAC, please let me know who I can talk to. But I guess most of the people I've talked to have been very nice. If they ever manage to get their act together and do their job, I'll update this review.

I saw other reviews on how everything was labeled and professionally laid out and I knew he was the guy for the job. Another thing that set Dmitriy apart was he had all his own plumbers and electricians who were also amazing. Several other competitors quoted to complete the HVAC work, but I would need to source my own plumbers and electrician. Also, he took care of all the permits so it was truly a smooth process throughout. I knew little about converting to a natural gas from the original oil boiler, but Dmitriy made it easy. He knew about all the masssave rebates as well as how to deal with any requests from national grid. I am so happy with the quality of service and will definitely be back for any future HVAC needs.
