I was charged for labor! They used synthetic oil, which I would not have chosen since it costs three times the amount. Total cost? $202 for a dang oil change! When the issue came back, the dealership told me everything looked fine but claimed I had sticky exhaust valves and would need a new engine and was quoted around $10,000. I decided to get a second opinion at Gig Harbor Automotive, and I'm so glad I did. They treated me incredibly well from start to finish and performed a very thorough diagnostic. The technician scoped the engine and ruled out sticky valves completely. Instead, they found that the dealership had installed the wrong spark plug in cylinder 2. What really stood out was that the technician took extra time after hours to walk me through everything he found and explain it in detail. Bottom line: they are honest, thorough, and fair which is hard to find these days. I truly appreciate their integrity and highly recommend them.
