I am part of a class action lawsuit against D R Horton home builder here in Marana, AZ. Select…read moreGlass was contracted to fix one of my home windows. They came out over 7 months ago to assess the issue with a window balancer. The technician removed the old balancer and said he needed to order a new one and would come back in a couple of weeks. Months went by and I never heard from them again. I contacted Select Glass and informed them. The said they weren't surprised because that technician doesn't work for them anymore. Another technician came out a month ago WITHOUT the balancer and stated he needed to order it and would be back in 1-2 weeks. Never heard from them again. I called them again today and the receptionist said the woman handling my issues was on the phone and would call back in 5-10 minutes. After an hour of waiting, I called back and receptionist stated the woman handling this was in a meeting which is why she didn't call back in 5-10 minutes. I finally get the woman in charge of this circus and she said they just got the part in last Wednesday. I asked if they were still using the Pony Express for ordering and delivering supplies. In any case, she stated they could come out in about 2 more weeks to fix the issue. So, it literally took them almost 9 months to address, and hopefully fix my window balancer. If you have 3/4 of a year to wait, then Select Glass is your number 1 choice......

I work a lot and can't talk on the phone often but Mauricio answered me via text very efficiently and always kept me in the loop. We're definitely coming back when needed! Just FYI though, this place is CASH ONLY, the installation only took about an hour or so, and it's all done outside. The area is covered but just thought I'd mention that in case anyone plans on waiting there during the installation. We didn't mind waiting because it wasn't too hot outside at the time.

Recently I hired AGD Auto Glass Direct (AKA Glastek) to replace the windshield in my car. Prior to…read morehaving it scheduled, I asked if there was any sort of cash bonus/offer. Based on my vehicle, they told me $90, at which point I filed a glass claim with AGD/Glastek on the line. Once the claim was filed, I was told by my insurance to expect a link by text to take photos of the damage. While I did receive the link, AGD/Glastek called me just a few hours later stating they had the referral to complete the work and wanted to schedule. I questioned this as I had done nothing with the link yet that was provided by insurance, yet they assured me that b/c they had the referral I was good to go. The following day they replaced my windshield, but did not give me the $90 (claimed they forgot it and would mail it). Well the following day after that, they called/text me stating they needed my help as my insurance company wasn't paying them due to an issue with the referral. They asked me to call my insurance, which I did (spent an hour of my time trying to sort out their problem). My insurance company indicated they never sent any referral as I never sent in the pics, etc. They indicated AGD/Glastek jumped the gun and should not have replaced the windshield without the proper referral in place. A day or two later after that, AGD/Glastek reached out to me and threatened that if I did not call my insurance again to assist them that they would refuse to pay the $90 cash bonus. At that point I became quite frustrated with their demeaner and/or threat, seeing they are the ones who created this entire problem. So as of now, they never paid their cash bonus that they agreed to. Beware, I would strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere as this is clearly false advertising.

Clean shop and nice staff, but unsatisfied with tint installation and refund policy…read more The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly, but I am disappointed with the actual work. There was a quarter-inch gap left at the top of the windows that wasn't explained to me beforehand, and it just didn't look right. Im having it removed at another shop that does edge-to-edge tinting. If you want this shop to do it they will invalidate any warranty. Out of the $130 spent on the two windows, they only refunded me $60, I agreed to pay for the front window shade. I expected better communication and a fairer resolution given that the product wasn't what I wanted. I wouldn't have gotten it done here if I had known. When I came back to the shop I was told I would get 50% of the total price I paid which was $200. If they had followed through with what they said to me I would not be writing this review.
