I'm really disappointed with my recent experience at StretchLab. All I needed was an itemized receipt for my visit so I could submit it to my FSA. I asked for it the day of my appointment and was handed a new‑client agreement instead, which obviously isn't a receipt. I followed up a day or two later, hoping that I would get different assistance, but still didn't get what I needed. I've tried reaching out to corporate since then, but none of their contact information seems to lead anywhere. No replies, no acknowledgment, nothing. At this point it feels like I'm seeking help from a void at Stretchlab over something that should be incredibly simple. What makes this even more frustrating is that a few years ago, the team here was amazing. I never had issues getting itemized receipts, and the staff was always helpful and on top of things. This time around, I've felt like my needs as a client don't matter at all. After this experience, I don't see myself coming back. If getting basic documentation is this difficult, it's just not worth the hassle. read more

I have fibromyalgia and was told that being stretched was a good way to get some of my mobility back. I spoke with Brittney to schedule a session to see if it was going to be helpful for me. When I got there, I was greeted by other associates and then Brittney spoke with me for a few minutes. She let me know that Colton would be the one to assist me and also pointed out some new apparel that had just come in. Colton took me back to the table and first asked what I was there for. I let him know about the fibromyalgia and he said we would take it slow so we can see how my body responds. Along the way he walked me through what he was doing and why he was doing it. When I explained the sciatic pain I get, he gave me some pointers to help with that. We talked about family and life and it was like we've been friends for years. When we were finished I talked with Brittney and we decided on what membership would be best for me. I liked that it was a no-pressure sale and it was just a conversation had between the two of us about what my body needs. I've passed by this place many times but haven't thought to come in until a friend of mine raves about how great he felt after going to a stretch session. I've been doing a lot of tough plyo workouts lately and my poor muscles were in need of a good stretch. I signed up for a 30 minute stretch (which is ~$30 for your first stretch). When I entered, there are a bunch of padded benches in the room, though there were maybe only 1-2 other clients in the room at the same time. I lied down on the bench and the person who was stretching me started with my legs, stretching quads, glutes, hips, and low back. She moved up to my arms and shoulders and upper back so that she covered my whole body in the 30 minute session. That burn you feel from stretching feels good afterwards (though I was pretty sore the day after!). I think I prefer a massage slightly more because it is more relaxing, but these sessions might be nice to occasionally add in to my exercise routine. Pro tip: make sure to bring grippy socks for your session - I didn't know that ahead of time! read more

It would have been five stars, but .... I fly a lot. I like to get a stretch when I return home. Due to the heavy rain, snow and winds between Albuquerque and Phoenix my flight was delayed due to the weather and they charged me for the session. It was a circumstance beyond my control trip. I bought a 59.00 50 min session then couldn't book a session for 7 days. really? Tried to find a "contact" email but nothing on website. Just another franchise nightmare waiting to happen. My masseuse recommended I try the Stretch Lab and I'm so excited she did. Ty does a great job and I always leave feeling much better and a lot lighter. Everyone is always so friendly, talkative and the music is always great. It is a bit pricey per month but your body will thank you. Just think of it as "self care/ maintenance" lol I haven't tried any other flexologist other than Ty but I do highly recommend him. Karlan and Erica at the front desk are also great! read more

I enjoyed 4 or so stretching sessions and Kiera, my stretcher, seemed to be very competent. I am a fuss budget for officious twits enforcing arbitrary rules and not looking for ways to "solve the problem." So I was irked when faced with a pompous tat child playing lord of his domain the other day. it was probably my fault, frankly, I am accustomed to being treated like a VIP. Privilege? Probably, but deal with it. Maybe these guys are just too common. Happily, I had recently signed up for a series of sessions at the Stretchzone. I was curious about their straps and wanted to experiment with a different approach. I found the Stretchzone to be more precise in isolating muscles and areas and while I question the real utility of the straps, they may force a more focused and disciplined stretching regimen on specific muscle groups. The Stretchzone is also are more precise in the actual measurement of range of motion as well as week to week progress. Cool. I believe they both add value and don't believe that they are mutually exclusive. They could be complimentary to a thorough stretching program. read more

Tyrell is a miracle worker! I have chronically tense muscles, no matter what I do, and Tyrell gets me back in business by stretching me out. I always leave feeling better than when I came in. Scheduling is easy by app, and the studio is flexible (pun not intended!) about rescheduling when needed. Bring some grip socks to avoid having to buy them on site. (though the ones they sell are cute and I might spring for a pair one day!) read more

I've been getting stretched here for a few months and I love it!! The staff is so friendly and they really care about the health of their members! I went to StretchLab because I was not interested in gyms or "workout places" offering classes or one-on-one trainers with questionable training/education/experience in doing what I needed. I started a year ago in the Peoria AZ location and at that time, I was barely able to get my left leg up into the car...it just woudn't go without me lifting my leg to get in the car. I explained this to the manager at the Peoria location and she said I should stop by and see what they had to offer. I did that and did the first-time introductory session. Now, almost a year later, I have increased my flexibility far more than I could have imagined! I am on the twice-a-week plan and I have had remarkable results! They have a computerized device that actually produces data showing flexibility scores among other data points for shoulders, hips knees, ankles etc., so, I know I'm improving because I have actual measurement's. I have found my stretches to be of exceptional therapeutic value and I would highly recommend StretchLabs to anyone with mobility/flexibility concerns. The staff are highly trained, college educated in fields such as physiology, exercise science, etc. so they do truly know what they are doing! It has been a great experience working with truly professional people who produce measurable results. The cost is no more than a massage and the results ARE real and measurable. Their program is totally customized to each individual allowing me to focus on one specific problem area if need be, for the entire 50 minute session, or, I can get a general stretching. I get what I need specifically for the muscles or joints giving me problems. I'm 75 and way overweight but they have given me more flexibility than I had 20 years ago! It's been a wonderful and beneficial experience physically and mentally! Can't say enough good things about the people at my location and the program in general!!! read more

LOVE this place! I've been twice and had two great stretch therapists, and the facility is clean, calming and welcoming. I'm super busy and have a hard time taking time for myself (and don't love yoga) and this feels like all of the benefits of yoga and self-care in a fraction of the time and customized to me. I firmly believe that stretching is essential for any healthy human, and while I stretch on my own it's nice to go here a) because it ensures I am being consistent and b) some stretches are tricky to pull off on your own. I seriously love this place! I used to get massages before I tried stretching, and it gave me minimal relief. After the intro stretch I did for 25 min, I knew I needed this in my life. I'm a trainer and work out regularly...but my stretching compared to an assisted stretch is a whole another level. My muscles are lengthening more and I am becoming more flexible-in addition to alleviating soreness and pain. I highly recommend Jessie, but they are all fantastic there. The best part is that the place has a great energy from the moment you schedule to when you arrive. If you are regularly physically active, you need this in your life! read more
