Update review I give my flexologist Kevin four stars I give the location to two stars I give their overall communication one star The Pasadena location has an industrial feel even though it's in an office building. The parking is janky, they should label the level you're supposed to park on. They will tell you a thousand times literally that there's a video about the parking but it is not helpful. They will also tell you a thousand and one times that there is a 12-hour cancellation fee. They mentioned this so much that I almost wanted to cancel. I did not receive the evaluation that is mentioned in their video and reminder text. Kevin was great but he just went right into stretching me. I felt a little better afterwards and I may go to another location but this one is very loud between the music and everybody talking and the weird echoing it's just not a great location. They also do not communicate well in any way shape or form.

Stretching is life-changing and Pasadena StretchLab is the BEST! All of the flexologists are amazing and also good people. I'm always greeted by a smile from whomever is at the desk.

I've been a long time member of Corepower so I've had my fair share of hot yoga, and it makes me appreciate the way that hot 8 operates - they have multiple types of classes - I tried Strength, Yin, Sculpt, and they're all fantastic. The membership feels so worth it because of the variety of classes and the multiple rooms/times available. I will definitely be returning. Shout out to the front desk staff - they helped me solve issues with my booking process (my fault) and were so kind/patient when exposing the different classes to me. Oh and shoutout to Allison Chiang - the Strength instructor. She brought the energy and spent time on form correction. So key! Finally - there's free parking with validation in the building! Hot 8 Yoga is very responsive when trying to get you to sign up for a membership, but when you want to cancel, they do not make the process easy at all. California law requires businesses to provide an easy and accessible way for customers to cancel memberships online, but that has not been my experience with Hot 8 Yoga. Very poor customer service and disappointing business practices.

Let me start this review by saying I've been a huge morph fan for 2 years, literally declining…read moreevery invite from my friends to try different studios. I've been to Los Feliz when I lived in LA and moved to Pasadena when I moved out of LA. My sister and I collectively referred over 10 people to morph whom purchased beginners class, then beginners 10 pack, and some even 15 class packs. We wondered about referrals and no one got back to us. I don't even want a free class but maybe a pair of socks to show their appreciation for all the business we brought to them. We got nothing, not even a verbal appreciation. I've gotten my friends to mostly fill an entire class a few times too. To me, seems like morph doesn't care about their "morphletes" as much as they portray and they only care about the money. Parking: THE PARKING SUCKS. There's only a few spots and the rest is paid parking. I'm already paying $20 per class, I don't want to pay for parking. You have to go at least 15 minutes early to wait in the parking lot for the previous class to come in for lot parking. Classes: the classes are a breeze, they're so easy compared to other studios. I started going to a different studio while having morph credits still and I'd go to morph when I want an easy workout. The flow of the class is different than other lagree studios, exercises have different names too. Some instructors don't even have holds/pauses in the routine. The classes are just not challenging enough. WHY IS THERE NO APP TO BOOK CLASSES? I feel like at this point, an app is bare minimum. Their latest class is 6pm which is hard to make for a corporate employee to attend. The studio I currently attend has 7pm and 8pm classes. Community: As much as they portray a community, there is no sense of community at morph. I've only been going to this new studio for a year and I feel so welcomed and appreciated. At my other studio, I've gotten acknowledgment for my birthday, 50 classes, 100 classes, invitation to join a free class for content, and owners are much more personable. You can tell who is in it for the money and who is actually passionate about lagree. Also, morph trainers spray down the machine as soon as class is over, giving you NO time to stretch because they be waiting by your machine with a towel as soon as class is over. Just feels like they're trying to rush people out asap. Other studios use wipes, giving people time to chill out and stretch after a challenging workout. Overall, There are A LOT of better lagree studios out there, in all the ways. A lot of studios have holiday discounts/founders deals much better than what morph offers. Take it from me who was a huge morph fan who ended up finding a sense of belonging at another studio. Forgot to mention that I been weight lifting for 3 years and the only 2 times I got severely injured to the point of bed rest was at this studio.

I love that attention to detail because it makes me feel like I'm really getting the most out of every session. Now that I'm pregnant she's really great at giving me modifications. The studio itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up. The bathrooms and showers are super clean, which makes those early 6 AM classes so nice because I can shower and head straight to work (complementary towels, shower mats, razors, q tips, deodorant, hair dryers, etc). There's plenty of street parking around the block and designated spots in their lot. Highly recommend :)

I parked at the Schoolhouse parking garage on Green St. $1 for up to two hours and it was only about a three minute walk to the studio. Quick, safe and convenient. I had Sheri as my instructor. Even though it was an intro class, we had a mixture of people with all different levels. Sheri was awesome to give different options to those who are more advanced or simply those who would like a challenge. If you're thinking of taking your first reformers class, don't be intimated because your instructor will go over each functionality/part of the machine. One of the things I look out for when determining how much I'll enjoy the class is whether or not an instructor will be hands-on in correcting your form. Like yes, please correct me so I will know what's the correct way moving forward. So thank you Sheri for being hands-on. I was back home for the holiday season and I'm glad Yelp helped me discover this studio.

You feel guided, supported, and challenged in the right way. I especially loved my class with Emily. She was able to gauge exactly what I was doing incorrectly and came over to help me in a way that felt thoughtful and encouraging. I genuinely appreciated that level of awareness. Our session was good, but I needed time to deliberate before moving forward - it was a bit commitment and I needed some time to reflect. I let the trainer know that I am unemployed and rely on my parents for financial support, so I needed to deliberate with them before proceeding further. I felt belittled for communicating my needs, and received harsh criticism from the trainer about being "a waste of time." It should be noted that on the website, the first session is advertised as a "no obligation free workout." But the session took place in a paid gym.
