I had a great experience with Stress Less Movers and would definitely recommend them. I had heard about them on neighborhood groups on Facebook. From the beginning, Eric was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with. He initially had me upload photos and videos of everything I needed moved so he could provide an estimate. A few days before my move, after I had already moved many of the smaller items myself, I was able to update the photos and videos. Eric reviewed the updated inventory and actually reduced the cost of my move to reflect the smaller workload. I really appreciated that honesty and flexibility. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Melissa was always responsive, answered my questions promptly, and made scheduling easy. Moving is always stressful, but the team helped make the day much easier. They were careful with my belongings, worked efficiently, and one thing I especially appreciated was that they assembled my beds before leaving. After a long moving day, knowing I had a bed ready to sleep in that night took a huge weight off my shoulders. The company name really fits. 12/28 Update: from my move on 9/18 - back in after 3 months. Stressless did my unpack and for the most part things appeared to be fine. Then - as i began to look for things I had a cracked chair, missing items from various rooms and a wheel from a file cabinet substituted for a balled up piece of cardboard with tape under one side. It fell over while I was adding items in the bottom drawer. Not a good experience. I would have expected to be told of this missing piece but was not.I have spoken to Eric along with many emails. I have been told they are looking for my items but with the holidays it has taken some time for any results. I am going to give Stressless a few more days with hopes the items will be returned n my broken chair will be replaced. Stressless please do the right thing. read more

He came in a pinch to help with a big Cross Country Move. Extremely professional, hard working, honest, and true. Why this business doesn't have more reviews is surprising. It looks as if the only negatives are from people who never actually worked with him. If they had been through what I went through with other companies literally sending gangs" to my house to pack stuff up, nobody would have a thing negative to say. --- Moreover he did a huge majority of the work himself, even drove a truck cross country himself. That's an honest guy. Nothing went missing, nothing was damaged, and I got updates more then necessary. --- Admittedly his pricing was higher then most quotes, but once you get a bait and switch with extra charges etc, you will know this is better. Reached out to this company for a small job. First of all they first gave me a decent quote but then came back at me with what they normally charge. I responded with a wow ok and just reiterated the job because was really surprised at the amount for how small this job was and I got other quotes for half of what they were trying to quote me. Eric responded with "then just do it yourself lol". Totally understand everyone has their price but don't understand how people expect to get business talking to clients like that. Stress Less Moving Company was recommended by my neighborly Facebook group, which I always go to for great recommendations.... Sadly, All I have been doing is stressing since this company has entered into my home. I want to advise people my experience with this moving company, because of their unprofessionalism. First off, the owner knowingly showed up to my home with a highly contagious infection called Pink Eye (in both eyes). Secondly, him and his crew ran out of gas with my belongings, due to his truck not having a functioning gas gauge...? Last, and most importantly... I walked in on the owner and his employee going through my jewelry box in which they said broke and got shuffled around in the truck because they didn't tape it closed during the move. Needless to say my jewelry was a mess in all of my drawers and my WEDDING RING was in there, and is now NOWHERE to be found. His employee would not stop talking about all of his financial troubles, and I got very very bad vibes from this guy. I had to go run and pick up my kids and the employee was alone in my bedroom setting up my bed and had ample opportunity to steal my ring that is now nowhere to be found. When I brought this up to Eric the owner, the next day when he returned to my home for final payment, he started cussing and losing his cool and it was an absolute scene, and truthfully very uncomfortable to have a stranger in my home behave that way. I told him I have a lot of other things I need to handle and we would need to come up with a solution for this problem ASAP and he said he would talk to his employee. I have been following up and he has been dodging/dismissing, and saying he doesn't think it's his employee. Bottom line is my ring is missing/ stolen and he has now turned and said that who knows if there was even a ring there and has turned this into a very very ugly in this situation. Sad to see that business owners our operating their business this way... I feel like it is my neighborly duty to just advise people of this situation, because it's a very unfortunate one. read more
